"Let's go together!" You Mingxu said, "The three of us can look after each other and avoid being left alone."
Gu Tiancheng did not object. Everyone quieted down for a moment, but the atmosphere was still invisibly tense.
Ming Tao lowered his head, his bangs covering his eyes again, but the corners of his mouth curled up into a smile, and he said slowly: "I'm sorry, I won't go. Just now, the five of us couldn't stop this serial killer. I don't want to play anymore, saving my life is the most important thing. I'm leaving now and I won't stay in this damn place. You can do whatever you want, it has nothing to do with me." After that, he turned and walked towards his bicycle parked outside the tent and picked up his backpack from the tent.
You Mingxu and Gu Tiancheng looked at each other. Gu Tiancheng cursed in a low voice: "Coward. Let's go."
You Mingxu stood there without moving, looking at Mingtao's back. Gu Tiancheng noticed it and turned to look at her.
You Mingxu said, "We are not sure, actually. Song Lan and Zou Furong were definitely taken away by that man. It could have been him. He has been suspicious since he got into your car. Now he wants to leave alone again."
Gu Tiancheng raised his eyebrows suddenly, and was silent for a moment, but he had to admit: "You are right. We can't let him go like this."
Mingtao had just stepped onto the bicycle and was about to pedal with all his strength towards the road, but when he stepped on the pedal, his body did not move. He felt a firm force behind him, and he felt terrible. He turned around and was about to curse. Gu Tiancheng had already pulled him out of the car.
"What are you doing?" Ming Tao tried his best to stop him, but Gu Tiancheng and You Mingxu didn't say a word. When Ming Tao struggled, they pressed him to the ground and tied him up tightly with ropes.
Ming Tao was about to collapse: "You are crazy! Why are you tying me up?" Suddenly, his heart trembled and he shouted: "You...you two, are you two serial killers? A pair of thieves?"
You Mingxu cursed, "Idiot." Gu Tiancheng lifted him up from the ground and said, "Don't struggle. Stay here. As long as the two girls can come back safely, we will let you go."
You Mingxu looked up at Gu Tiancheng. His expression was resolute and cold, as if he had determined the purpose of the rescue and had no hesitation. You Mingxu suddenly felt a little irritated and confused, and impulsive, so he grabbed his arm.
He turned to look at her: "What's wrong?"
She let go of his hand: "It's okay. We... need to be safe."
He nodded. Perhaps because of the current situation, his heart was not at peace. He looked at her deeply with his eyes, and for the first time ever, he reached out his hand, pressed the back of her head towards himself. Then he put his face close to hers, lightly touching hers, and left.
You Mingxu didn't move, letting him approach and let him leave.
"I told you, don't be afraid." Gu Tiancheng said, "No matter what happens to the others, whether I can rescue them or not, I will definitely take you to a safe place."
You Mingxu said, "Okay. I believe you."
He smiled faintly. He still looked like a handsome, tall, silent and repressed man.
