"You can go back now. Reschedule my meeting for tomorrow. If there's anything urgent, call me."
Lin Shen told Liang Yi that he would be discharged from the hospital this afternoon, but he would not go to the company today and would go tomorrow.
A doctor came to see him early this morning. He is still a little dizzy today, so the doctor suggested that he rest for another day.
"Okay, Mr. President! Please get some rest, I won't bother you any longer."
When Liang Yi left, he didn't forget to say goodbye to Xia Wenxi as well. Xia Wenxi also confirmed that he hadn't been mistaken before. He was indeed quite excited, with a touch of relief in his excitement.

“Okay.” Xia Wenxi sat down in the chair she had used last night and said to Lin Shen, “I slept really well last night. I set an alarm for midnight but didn’t hear it. I slept straight through until dawn.”
She never expected herself to be such a heavy sleeper; even the alarm clock couldn't wake her. What if someone got sick and she had to stay with them at the hospital? It would be endless…
Xia Wenxi sighed and said that she was sleeping too soundly.
Unexpectedly, after hearing this, Lin Shen told her, "I turned off your alarm clock."
"Huh? How did you turn it off? No... how did you know I set an alarm?"
So Lin Shen got up at two in the morning, went into her room, and turned off her alarm clock without her knowing anything?
She was indeed sleeping very soundly.
Lin Shen explained, "Actually, I heard your phone ring. At first, I thought it was a phone call, but I was worried it might be something urgent, so I went in to check."
When he saw that it was an alarm clock and not a phone, he realized that Wenxi probably wanted to visit him in the middle of the night.
Lin Shen said that after he turned off the alarm clock, he covered her with the blanket that she had kicked off before going back to sleep.
"So my alarm clock not only failed to wake me up, but it also woke up a patient in another room... and made the patient cover me with a blanket?"
Xia Wenxi covered her face with her hands. Staying with her at the hospital to this extent was already quite something.
Lin Shen chuckled and comforted her, "The soundproofing in the ward isn't very good, and I'm a light sleeper, so I wake up when I hear noise. If I'm not feeling well, I'll just ring the call bell to call the nurse myself. It's good that you're here with me; you don't need to come see me in the middle of the night."
Just then, Xia Wenxi's breakfast arrived.
Four steamed buns, a bowl of porridge, several side dishes, a cup of soy milk, and some fruit.
A hearty yet simple breakfast!
Xia Wenxi took a bite of the bun first. It was a regular pork filling, and it tasted quite good, but it wasn't very big. She finished it off quickly.
When I was eating the second one, I remembered and asked Lin Shen if he wanted some.
"Try it, it tastes pretty good."
"Didn't wash hands."
Xia Wenxi then directly handed the steamed bun to Lin Shen's mouth, and only after watching him take a bite did she say, "Just say you want me to feed you."
Lin Shen swallowed the bun in his mouth before smiling and saying, "Thank you, Wenxi."
While she was eating, Xia Wenxi's phone rang again. This time, it was definitely not an alarm clock, but a phone call.
With the bun still in my right hand, I had to take out my phone with my left.
"It was my mom calling."
Lin Shen subconsciously sat up straighter.
The purpose of the call was to inquire about Lin Shen's situation and to say that they wanted to come and visit. Xia Wenxi then said that she would ask Lin Shen first.
When Xia Wenxi saw Lin Shen sitting upright, she found it a little funny and said to him, "My parents said they wanted to come and see you."
After saying that, he leaned closer and whispered, "If you feel too nervous and don't want to see them, then refuse."
"My aunt and uncle are concerned about me, so I'm not nervous."
"Okay, then I'll tell them."
Xia Wenxi hung up the phone and opened WeChat. Just as she was about to type an address and ward number to the two of them, she realized that she still had a steamed bun in her hand. Without thinking much, she stuffed it into her mouth.
When she went to get some tissues, she saw Lin Shen looking at her mouth and assumed he wanted some too. There were still two buns left, so she took another one and stuffed it into Lin Shen's mouth.
After the message was sent, she suddenly realized that the bun in her mouth was the one Lin Shen had eaten before.
You've already kissed, why would you care about this?
She paused for only a moment, then continued eating.
Looking up, I saw that Lin Shen still had half a bun sticking out of his mouth. Being the helpful person I am, I reached out and pushed the bun in a little further.
"Want some more?"
Lin Shen shook his head and quickly took a sip of water to soothe himself.
An hour later, Ke Shurong and Xia Hengyuan arrived together, and Xia Wenxi opened the door for them.
Seeing that Ke Shurong was still carrying a thermos, Xia Wenxi asked her, "Mom, what delicious food did you bring?"
"Black chicken soup, it's good for replenishing qi and blood, Aunt Li got up early this morning to stew it."
"Wow!" Xia Wenxi immediately called out, "Lin Shen, you have black chicken soup now!"
The couple smiled and followed their daughter into the ward. When Lin Shen saw Lin Shen standing by the bed, they quickly told him to lie down.
"Didn't you say you were dizzy? Why are you still standing? Don't be so polite with us."
“That’s right,” Xia Hengyuan added. “We were really shocked when Xiaoxi told us last night that you were in a car accident. Luckily, it wasn’t anything serious.”
Last night, they were able to go to sleep only after their daughter told them that Lin Shen's condition was not serious.
