The soft yellow light bathed the room in a warm glow, as if giving the winter night a "one-click soft light" effect.
The young couple sat on the sofa, embracing each other. After a long while, Xia Wenxi said softly, "Actually, I'm not scared. I'm over twenty years old. Of course I know what will happen when I'm in a relationship."
He was a little breathless when he first started speaking, but he became more and more confident as he spoke.
Seeing her audacious appearance, Lin Shen couldn't help but laugh, "So bold, huh?"
"What are you laughing at?!" Xia Wenxi snorted and turned her head away.
Lin Shen held the little girl's hand and kissed it, saying softly, "It's not appropriate to be outside. We have a long time ahead of us."
Xia Wenxi blushed, "Stop talking, it's not like I'm the one who really wants to."
She pulled off the blanket and stood up. "I'm going downstairs to sleep. Anyway, it's not me who can't sleep because I feel stuffy."
After saying that, he strode downstairs, making a loud thumping sound on the wooden stairs, and you could tell from the sound that he was very angry.
Lin Shen got up, but did not go downstairs immediately. Instead, he stood on the balcony outside for a while. The snow was still falling, and the forest was so quiet that only the rustling sound of the falling snow could be heard.

"We might have to pack our things and get ready to go down the mountain now."
These words chased away Xia Wenxi's drowsiness. "Why?"
"The hotel just called. It snowed all night last night, and they had people clear the road down the mountain early this morning. But judging from the weather, there might be a blizzard starting this afternoon. If we don't go down the mountain this morning, we might be stuck on the mountain for a few days."
Upon hearing this, Xia Wenxi didn't dawdle any longer and jumped up in a flash.
"Then let's hurry down the mountain."
"Go wash up, I'll pack my things."
When Lin Shen received the call, he packed all his things before coming over to wake Xia Wenxi up.
Seeing that she had gone to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth, Lin Shen started packing her things. Once Xia Wenxi came out of the bathroom and changed her clothes, they could leave.
While waiting for the hotel's notification, Xia Wenxi also took the time to call her parents. They weren't home either, and she needed to ask them if they also needed to come home before the heavy snow.

"Okay, I know, Mom. You and Dad can play for a few more days. I'll stay home and not go out. It'll be fine."
After Xia Wenxi hung up the phone, Lin Shen asked, "Where are your aunt and uncle? Are they going home today too?"
Xia Wenxi shook her head, "They originally planned to go home today, but their return flight was canceled due to the blizzard warning, so they decided to stay for another two days."
"That's fine, we can come back when the weather is better."
Lin Shen just notified Liang Yi, asking him to inform the administration that if the weather looks bad this afternoon, employees should be sent home early and work from home for the next two days.
Not long after, the hotel called again to say that the car was ready and we could leave now.
Right now, there's no sign of a blizzard coming this afternoon. There's no wind, no snow, and even a little bit of sunshine.
The hotel shuttle took the two of them to the same spot where they had parked when they arrived, and then they had to drive themselves down the mountain.
However, the later sections are relatively flat, and the road surface has been cleared of snow, so safety can be guaranteed.
Coincidentally, the two ran into Yin Chengjing and Su Yinyin again at the parking spot halfway up the mountain.
Su Yinyin seemed to have lost her good mood from yesterday, and her expression looked somewhat dejected. Yin Chengjing comforted her softly.
Upon seeing Xia Wenxi, Su Yinyin's expression softened somewhat.
"Wenxi, what a coincidence that we meet again."
After saying that, he sighed, "I finally got to go out and have some fun, but I didn't expect to have to come down the mountain after only two days. This weather is really something."
Yin Chengjing was greeting Lin Shen when he heard this and came over to comfort his girlfriend, "It's dangerous to encounter a blizzard in the mountains. If you like it, I'll come with you again next time."

Xia Wenxi and Lin Shen exchanged a glance, feeling somewhat awkward.
Lin Shen pulled Xia Wenxi to his car before turning back to remind the two lovey-dovey people, "Mr. Yin, you should hurry down the mountain; it wouldn't be good if we encountered a blizzard on the way."
After telling Xia Wenxi to sit down, he returned to the driver's seat, nodded to the two of them, and then drove off.
Xia Wenxi rolled down the car window and said goodbye to Su Yinyin, who then smiled and waved back.
Yin Chengjing coaxed her a few times, and Su Yinyin quickly went from gloomy to cheerful. Soon, the two drove away.
The weather warning was quite accurate. As soon as they entered the city, they could see that the sky had darkened considerably, and it really looked like a snowstorm was about to break.
By the time Lin Shen dropped Xia Wenxi off at home, it had already started snowing. Seeing this, Xia Wenxi quickly urged him to drive home, fearing that if they were delayed even a little, they would encounter heavy snow on the way.
After getting out of the car, she didn't even let Lin Shen see her home. She grabbed the suitcase and pulled Lin Shen back to the driver's seat.
She bent down and smacked him on the left and right cheeks. "Alright, you can go now."
Lin Shen was speechless; he had a feeling that Wen Xi was just going through the motions…
