Xia got out of the car upon hearing the sound, walked over quickly, and even circled around the two of them.
"Lin Shen came over to take Xiaoyuer out to play, why did you go home so early in the morning?" Xia Wenxi looked at him suspiciously.
"I can go back whenever I want!"
Xia Wensheng continued sarcastically, "I've never heard of a cat being given up for adoption and then being picked up by its former owner to play. Some people probably have ulterior motives."
As soon as Xia finished speaking, he noticed that Lin Shen actually had a smile on his face, which made him speechless with anger.
So, all that sarcastic talk from him actually pleased Lin Shen?
Xia Wenxi silently stepped between the two, "Lin Shen, you go first. Brother, Mom and Dad just said they have something to tell me, I have to go home."
Xia Wensheng tilted his head, gesturing for Xia Wenxi to go back first, "I have a few words to say to President Lin."
"Okay, I'll head back then."
Xia Wenxi said something, nodded to Lin Shen, got into the car and left, and the three-way standoff became a two-way confrontation.
No one knows what Xia Wensheng and Lin Shen talked about, but when Xia Wenxi got out of the car, she saw Xia Wensheng's car had also arrived, so she simply stood at the door of her house and waited for him for a while.
"What, do you want to know what I said to him?"
"No, I want to ask you, why aren't you on a date with Minghuan on the weekend? What are you doing coming home?"
Xia Wenxi didn't play by the rules, and Xia Wensheng didn't even need to use the lines he had prepared. He said irritably, "Your sister Minghuan is busier on weekends than on weekdays. Xia Wenxi overheard her parents' conversation with Xia Wensheng last night, but she didn't get angry or anything because of this "differential" treatment.
She believed that no one could be angry with such wonderful parents.
Even if they are "treating others differently," it is out of kindness and goodwill.
And after one night, they realized their mistake and came to apologize to the child.

After they finished talking, the two went back to their room hand in hand to check the luggage they would bring tomorrow. Xia Wenxi patted Xia Wensheng on the shoulder and went upstairs to read a book.
Xia Wen was left alone in the living room, lost in thought with her head in her hands.
Was today's seemingly happy family scene just a prelude to luring him in so they could kill him?
Xia Wensheng was finally able to relax today since there wasn't much going on at the company. Although he couldn't go on a date and no one would talk to him at home, he didn't want to go to the company, so he simply leaned on the sofa and started looking at his phone.

Xia Wenxi received a message from Lin Shen that she was going out to pick up Xiaoyuer. When she went out, she saw Xia Wensheng still sprawled on the sofa, gave him a casual greeting, and left.
Unbeknownst to her, Xia Wensheng immediately stood up as soon as she left.
Xia Wensheng hesitated for a moment between going out to spy and staying at home, but eventually sat down.
I just said yesterday that my parents should treat Xia Wenxi like an adult, and he can't go back on his word.
Xia Wenxi saw Lin Shen's car parked on the side of the road from afar, and he was standing by the back door.
Dark gray shirt, black trousers.
Broad shoulders, narrow waist, tall and long legs.
Okay, Xia Wenxi admits that she is a lecherous young girl, and President Lin does indeed look... quite attractive.
"Excuse me, have you been waiting long?"

It's really hard to resist a cream cake held by a slender, well-proportioned hand with distinct knuckles... isn't it?

"You're welcome. I'm very happy today, so you're welcome."
