Chapter 37 He only has eyes for you, not her.

Chapter 37 He only has eyes for you, not her.

Lin Mianmian wanted to escape, but Su Wan's words, "Be my boyfriend," made the audience even more excited.

Xie Lin's Adam's apple bobbed, his voice carrying a slight pant from exercise, his tone lazy and listless.

Yet it also carried an air of unquestionable authority: "Miss Su, you should say this to someone you want to hear it from."

Su Wan's smile froze for a moment, but she still said, unwilling to give up, "Xie Lin, I know you have no shortage of people around you, but I'm different from them."

“It’s different.” Xie Lin finally looked up at her, his peach blossom eyes curving into crescents, the red mole at the corner of his eye looking like it had been tempered by fire.

But her tone was quite cold: "At least they know that I already have a little princess by my side."

As soon as he finished speaking, he casually tossed the towel to his teammate who had come over, his gaze landing precisely on the slender figure in the corner who was about to turn and slip away.

The jeers from the surroundings were still going on, but Su Wan's face had completely darkened.

Most of the people holding support signs on the sidelines also fell silent.

Xie Lin didn't even glance at them again. He took a long stride, bypassing Su Wan, and strode towards Lin Mianmian.

The red jersey billowed in the wind, revealing the incredibly sharp lines of his broad shoulders and narrow waist. The sweat-soaked fabric clung to his back, outlining the smooth and muscular contours.

With each step he took, he drew screams from those around him.

Lin Mianmian gripped the hem of her clothes even tighter, and instinctively took a step back.

But Xie Lin seemed to have a tracking device installed, and in the blink of an eye, he was in front of her.

He stopped and looked down at her, beads of sweat sliding down his sharp jawline, rolling into his reddened collar, and disappearing into the hollow of his collarbone.

Lin Mianmian subconsciously looked away, but he reached out and pinched her chin. His fingertips were damp with sweat and cool, and the force was just right, forcing her to look up at him.

"Why are you running?" Xie Lin's voice was low and seductive, his peach blossom eyes curving into an alluring arc. "Afraid I'll be kidnapped?"

Lin Mianmian's cheeks instantly burned, and she struggled to get away: "I didn't run away."

"Didn't run away?" He chuckled softly, leaning closer to her, his warm breath brushing against her earlobe, causing her to tremble slightly.

"Why are your feet almost at the door? Hmm?"

His nose almost touched hers, the red mole at the corner of his eye was clearly visible, and his long, thick eyelashes drooped down, casting a small shadow under his eyelids.

"Did you hear Su Wan confessing to me just now?" Xie Lin stared at her reddened ears.

He gently stroked her chin with his fingers, his tone carrying a hint of mischievous laughter.

Lin Mianmian bit her lip, turned her face away without saying a word, and the bitterness in her heart welled up again.

Xie Lin, however, had no intention of letting her go. He slid his fingers down her chin, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her closer to him.

His body radiated heat, carrying a faint smell of sweat, but it wasn't unpleasant at all.

"Why aren't you saying anything?" He looked down at her, his peach blossom eyes brimming with laughter, his tone incredibly flirtatious. "Jealous?"

"I didn't," Lin Mianmian hurriedly retorted, her voice barely audible.

"No?" Xie Lin raised an eyebrow, then suddenly reached out and pinched her burning earlobe. The coolness of his fingertips made her tremble.

"Why are your ears so red, like ripe cherries? Hmm? My darling Mianmian, are you being so stubborn because you want me to kiss you until you tell the truth?"

As soon as he finished speaking, he lowered his head and brought his lips close to hers, his thin lips brushing against the corner of her lips, carrying a slightly burning temperature.

Lin Mianmian's mind went blank for a moment, her fingers tightened around her clothes, and she even forgot to breathe.

Xie Lin didn't go any further, but chuckled and nuzzled her lips, his voice husky and alluring: "Just now on the field, when I scored, all I could think about was you."

"Those cheerleaders, those rich girls, and that Su Wan, in my eyes, none of them are as pretty as my darling when she frowns."

He straightened up, took her wrist, and turned to walk out of the venue.

The red jersey fluttered wildly, its flamboyance almost outrageous.

Lin Mianmian was pulled along by him, her steps faltering as she followed behind him. Looking at his broad back, a large part of the defenses that had been rebuilt in her heart silently collapsed again.

The commotion behind them was still going on, Su Wan's face was deathly pale, and the whispers from the sidelines could be faintly heard, but Lin Mianmian couldn't hear anything.

The wind outside the venue carried the sweltering heat of late summer, making Lin Mianmian's ear tips even hotter.

Xie Lin's hands were large, and the thin sweat on his palms dampened her wrists, but his strength was so firm that she couldn't break free.

Without stopping, he dragged her straight into the shadows of the parking lot, pressing her back against the cold car body, leaving her with nowhere to retreat.

Lin Mianmian's heart was pounding so hard it felt like it was going to burst her chest. Just as she was about to turn her head away, he grabbed her chin.

Xie Lin leaned closer, his sweat-dampened silver hair brushing against her delicate face.

His peach blossom eyes were narrowed, the red mole at the corner of his eye was strikingly bright, and his gaze was fixed on the reddened corner of her eye.

His tone carried a hint of roguish confidence: "Still being stubborn? Just now in the stands, when I scored, your eyes were shining like they held stars, so why did you wilted as soon as Su Wan came out?"

Lin Mianmian's eyelashes trembled, her fingertips curled up and dug into her palms, and she murmured, unable to speak.

Xie Lin chuckled softly, his thumb gently caressing her soft lips, the calluses on his fingertip sending a shiver through her.

He leaned down, his nose brushing against hers, their warm breaths mingling, his voice extremely low.

With a seductive, hoarse voice: "Mianmian, look at me."

Lin Mianmian was forced to look up, her eyes meeting his unfathomable depths. The possessiveness surging within them burned her, making her weak all over.

"If you're jealous, just say so," he said, his lips brushing against the corner of her lips, moving inch by inch down to her slender neck, where he gently bit her.

This made her tremble slightly and shrink her neck, saying, "I won't laugh at you."

Lin Mianmian's breathing became erratic, her fingers tightening around the hem of his jersey, her voice trembling with tears: "Xie Lin... please don't do this..."

"Like what?" He looked up, his lips brushing against her reddened earlobe, a sly smile playing on his lips. "Like this?"

Before he could finish speaking, he suddenly wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up.

Lin Mianmian gasped and instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, her legs dangling in the air, forced to press herself against his burning chest.

Xie Lin's gaze fell on her slightly parted lips, his Adam's apple bobbed, and the smile in his peach blossom eyes gradually faded, leaving only a thick desire.

He lowered his head, his thin lips hovering above hers, but not touching hers; he simply brushed his nose against hers.

His voice was terribly hoarse: "Tell me you're jealous, tell me you want me, and I'll kiss you."

Lin Mianmian's face was burning hot, and she shook her head like a rattle drum, her head buried in his neck.

Xie Lin chuckled and bit her lower lip as if punishing her, the force as light as a feather brushing against her, yet sending shivers down her spine.

"Not going to tell me?" His lips pressed against hers, his words warm and gentle. "Then I'll kiss you until you do."
