Chapter 541 You will not die well!

Chapter 541 You will die a miserable death!

The white exterior walls of the Airen Mental Hospital glowed coldly under the gloomy sky.

The leaves of the sycamore tree at the door were rustling in the wind, and a few fallen leaves on the ground were swirling around.

As soon as Han Xi's car stopped, he saw Han Ming walking out of the hospital gate.

He was wearing a dark grey windbreaker, and he looked thinner than he remembered. His steps were heavy, as if he was carrying a heavy burden.

The eyes of the father and son met in mid-air, and time seemed to freeze at this moment.

Han Ming paused in his tracks, his fingers subconsciously clenching the corner of his windbreaker, his knuckles turning slightly white.

His eyes were as complicated as a tangled mess, filled with evasion, fear, and a hint of unspeakable embarrassment, like a child who had done something wrong and was suddenly caught in the act.

Han Xi sat in the car, with no expression on his face, separated by a layer of transparent window.

His gaze fell calmly on Han Ming, as if he was looking at a stranger, without warmth or emotion.

Han Ming's uneasy figure reflected in the car window seemed particularly ironic.

After a long while, Han Xi opened the car door and got out.

The crisp sound of black leather shoes stepping on the stone pavement in front of the hospital broke the eerie silence.

Instead of walking towards Han Ming, he turned and walked towards the flower bed next to him.

Han Ming hesitated for a moment and followed him over.

The bench beside the flower bed was painted in off-white paint, which had peeled off in some places, revealing the dark wood underneath.

Han Xi sat down at one end of the bench, and Han Ming hesitated for a moment and sat down at the other end.

There was a gap between the father and his son, like an insurmountable chasm.

The two of them were so close yet so far away, and the air was filled with a strong sense of alienation.

The wind blew up the dead leaves on the ground and landed them on Han Xi's trouser legs, but he seemed unaware of it.

"You know everything."

Han Ming spoke first, his voice was a little dry and with a barely perceptible tremor.

This was not a question, but a statement. He knew in his heart that with Han Xi's ability, he could not have been unaware of the fact that Han Shiyu was transferred here.

Han Xi didn't say anything, just sneered softly.

The laughter was very light, but it was like a needle piercing Han Ming's heart.

He nodded slowly, his gaze fixed on the iron fence of the hospital in the distance. His tone was calm but tinged with sarcasm: "Father spent so much effort getting him out. I think it's hard for him not to know."

Han Ming's expression suddenly became a little unnatural, as if someone had touched a sore spot.

He avoided Han Xi's gaze and looked at the roses in full bloom in the flowerbed. He lowered his voice and said, "I know that Shiyu did a lot of things wrong before..."

"wrong?"

Han Xi interrupted him, his tone filled with disappointment, "Father, you used the word 'wrong' to describe everything she did?"

Han Ming's shoulders shrank slightly, and he took a deep breath, as if he had made a great decision.

"After all, she is still young and doesn't understand much. Besides, whether you are willing to admit it or not, she is your biological sister. You share the same blood."

He turned his head, a pleading look in his eyes: "Xiu Jin, for the sake of blood, please spare her this time, okay?"

Han Xi slowly turned his head and looked at Han Ming.

His eyes were cold, like a frozen lake in winter.

"Father always says the same thing. I'm tired of hearing it even though you're not tired of it."

He shook his head slightly, a look of disappointment on his face. "Han Shiyu has done so many evil things over the years, and you've always tolerated them. Now you've even forged a mental illness diagnosis. Your father is so capable, do you still need me to forgive her?"

Han Ming's face turned pale and blue, his lips moved, but he couldn't say a word.

His fingers were tightly clenched on the corner of his clothes, his knuckles turned white from the force, and fine beads of sweat oozed from his forehead.

"Since her father wants her to come out in this way."

Han Xi's voice was soft, but it carried an undeniable determination. "Then from now on, let her stay in the mental hospital and be a good 'mental patient'."

Han Ming's heart suddenly jumped, as if it was tightly grasped by something.

He immediately showed panic on his face and stood up from his chair: "Han Xi, you can't..."

Before he could finish his words, Han Xi stood up, turned around and left.

The black figure was upright and resolute, without any trace of nostalgia.

Han Ming looked at his back, opened his mouth, but finally swallowed the rest of his words.

He knew that once Han Xi made a decision, he would not change it easily.

A deep feeling of powerlessness surged in his heart. He staggered back a step and fell back onto the bench, covering his face with his hands, his shoulders trembling slightly.

The VIP ward on the third floor of the hospital was in a mess.

The white walls were splattered with ink, torn sheets and pillowcase lint were scattered on the floor, and the air was filled with a depressing atmosphere.

Han Shiyu sat on the ground with her back against the cold wall.

She was wearing a loose hospital gown, her hair was messy, there were several black ink marks on her face, and her eyes were full of resentment and madness.

She held a pen in her hand and wrote the three words "Xu Fangli" crookedly on a white pillow. Her handwriting was so sloppy and forceful that it almost pierced the pillow.

After writing, she picked up a pair of scissors from the side and stabbed the name on the pillow fiercely.

"Xu Fangli, you bitch! I won't let you go!"

"You will die a miserable death! And the same goes for the baby in your belly!"

"Han Xi is mine! It's all your fault. You stole him away from me!"

Vicious curses kept pouring out of her mouth, like the tongue of a poisonous snake, carrying a biting chill.

There was an almost twisted excitement on her face. Every time she stabbed, it seemed as if she had used up all her strength. The sound of the scissors cutting through the cloth was particularly harsh in the quiet ward.

Several nurses stood at the door of the ward, with panic and helplessness on their faces, but no one dared to go in.

They whispered to each other in low voices.

"She's been making such a fuss for quite some time now. Is it really true that we don't need to care about it?"

"President Han specifically instructed us not to disturb her or restrict her movements unless she's in trouble."

"But this isn't a solution. What if I get hurt?"

"Shh... stop talking, or someone might hear you."

At this moment, a cold voice sounded from behind him: "Get out of the way."

The nurses were startled and turned around quickly to see Han Xi standing behind them.

He was wearing a black suit with a coat of the same color on the outside, which made him look tall and straight. There was no expression on his face and his eyes were as cold as ice.

The nurses subconsciously stepped back to make way for him.

Han Xi didn't look at them, but looked through the small window on the ward door to see what was happening inside.
