Chapter 1080: Must Give an S-level Prescription
Fu Ya didn't say anything, but there was no warmth in her eyes. When Fu Cheng met her eyes, for a moment he had the illusion that he was in an ice cellar.
Fu Cheng was stunned by the thought that came to his mind, but the cold feeling soon dissipated.
Fu Ya had already lowered her eyelids, pinched the headphone wire, and threw it on the coffee table. "Now, what do you want to do?"
Her cousin rarely spoke to her on a daily basis. When he did, he was either being sarcastic or looking for her with a purpose. She had already figured this out over the years.
Fu Cheng had long been accustomed to his cousin's sarcastic tone, so he suppressed his displeasure and said in a deep voice, "You are not planning to participate in the association's assessment this year?"
Fu Ya pinched her fingers lightly, a sneer flashed across her lips, and she probably guessed what Fu Cheng wanted to talk to her about, "Yes, I don't plan to."
She responded simply.
"Why not participate?" Fu Cheng asked with a frown.
Fu Ya scratched her ear, kicked her slippers far away, and crossed her legs on the sofa without any image. "It's none of your business whether I participate or not, right?"
"Don't forget that your last name is Fu and you are a member of the Fu family. Also, don't forget who helped you get into the Pharmacist Association, and who has supported you and paid for your schooling, food, clothing and other necessities all these years." Fu Cheng said lightly.
"Oh, then don't forget who you relied on to become a high-level alchemist." Fu Ya chuckled.
It was always the same excuses, nothing new, and she was really tired of hearing them.
Fu Cheng looked at Fu Ya coldly for a long time before he spoke: "You can not participate in this year's assessment, but you must give me an S-level prescription."
Fu Ya's lips twitched, and she knew it was for this. She looked at Fu Cheng and said sarcastically, "Aren't you a senior alchemist? You ask me, who knows nothing, what formula I want? Are you sure you're not kidding?"
"You know whether you have it or not." Fu Cheng did not say any useless nonsense to Fu Ya. He looked at his mother who was walking towards them, and his expression returned to normal. "Of course, if you want to continue to be an ungrateful person, there is nothing I can do."
Fu's mother had already approached, with a loving look on her face. She picked up the slippers that Fu Ya had just kicked off and put them back in front of her. She asked suspiciously, "Yaya, Fu Cheng, what are you two talking about? You look so serious."
Fu Cheng glanced at Fu Ya and said, "Nothing much, just some things in the association."
Fu Ya squeezed her hands on her knees, and all the prickly emotions on her face disappeared. Her cousin was a scumbag, but he had a very good mother. She just called him "Aunt" softly and said nothing else.
Seeing Fu Ya become obedient again, Fu Cheng showed a hint of sneer in his eyes, and then stood up, "Mom, you guys chat, I have something else to do."
Fu's mother knew that her son was very busy on weekdays, so she looked at him and said "OK".
Fu Cheng had just taken two steps when he paused, turned around, and whispered to Fu Ya, "Sister, I'm waiting for your good news. Don't let everyone down."
Fu Ya raised her head, and Fu Cheng just raised his eyebrows at her, gave her a look that said you understand, and then left.
When Fu's mother heard this, she couldn't help but ask in confusion: "What good news?"
Fu Ya retracted her gaze and fell on Fu's mother, who had a gentle face. She didn't say much, but just smiled and shook her head, saying in a light voice: "Nothing."
