Chapter 1240 Are you really the real me?

Chapter 1240 Are you really the real me?

"I think so. I can't remember the name clearly." Min Yu's voice sounded normal.

Huo Yao pulled his coat closer and said, "It's not him."

Min Yu said "oh".

Huo Yao glanced at him again with a sarcastic tone.

*

Forty minutes later, the car arrived at the meeting place, which was a small pub with a romantic atmosphere.

Min Yu looked at the tavern through the car window. It was four o'clock in the afternoon, so the window was empty and there were no customers.

Huo Yao unbuckled her seat belt, and her WeChat account happened to ring at this moment. It was Fu Ya asking her when she would arrive.

She lowered her head and typed two words, then said to Min Yu: "It's not convenient for you to go when two girls meet, and you don't have to wait for me."

When Min Yu heard this, he retracted his gaze and said, "Okay."

Huo Yao nodded, pushed the door and got out of the car, and soon his back disappeared behind the glass door of the tavern.

As soon as she entered, an automatic welcoming voice came from the door, and the clerk at the cashier looked up and asked.

The tavern was not big and there was some light music playing. Huo Yao looked around and didn't see any other guests. When he was about to speak, the partition curtain on the right was lifted.

A young girl hurried out, and her voice came: "Xiaowei, my friend..."

The girl had just said half of her words when she saw Huo Yao standing not far from the door, and her voice stopped instantly.

Putting aside the fact that he was too pretty, his appearance, at around twenty years old, was completely different from the image of a big boss that she had imagined in her mind.

Fu Ya scratched her neck for a long time, then she called out uncertainly, "Boss?"

Huo Yao looked at Fu Ya and was not surprised. "Have you been here for a long time?"

Fu Ya was still a little dazed, "Are you really... the real me?"

"Or why don't you wait and see if a second person will show up?" Huo Yao raised his eyebrows slightly.

Her aura is already strong, and her words reveal a certainty that leaves no room for doubt.

Fu Ya coughed. Although she was several years older than the girl in front of her, she still felt a little restrained. She pointed to the partition curtain next to her and said, "Let's go in and talk first."

Huo Yao nodded.

Fu Ya stood aside and motioned Huo Yao to go ahead. After she opened the curtain and went in, she said to Xiao Wei at the cashier counter, "Ask the kitchen to prepare some afternoon tea. No wine, but juice or something like that."

After giving the instructions, she entered the small room and pushed the carved wooden door closed.

Sitting cross-legged at the low table, Fu Ya looked at Huo Yao again, her voice full of disappointment: "I thought you would be a middle-aged uncle in his thirties or forties."

Although I have accepted the fact that the other person is still a student during this period, I still couldn't help but be amazed when I saw the real person.

Huo Yao nodded and said calmly: "You are probably not the only one who thinks so."

Fu Ya touched the tip of her nose. Who could have thought that such a young person would have such superb medical skills.

Some past events came to her mind, and after a long while, she whispered, "Thank you for saving me from those people."

A small part of Fu Ya's wrist was exposed where it had hit the low table, and there was a faint suture scar on her fair skin.

Huo Yao glanced at it and then said calmly: "It's just a coincidence, you don't have to take it to heart."

Fu Ya smiled and still said thank you a few times.

Xiaowei knocked on the wooden door outside. Fu Ya gathered her thoughts, got up to open the door, took the snacks from her, and closed the door again.
