After saying that, she turned back into the kitchen.
Huo Yao's eyes narrowed slightly, and she took the phone to look at it again. Cheng Ming still hadn't replied to the message.
If it were any other time, he would have responded almost immediately after she sent the message... Huo Yao was thinking about something, so he didn't eat much for dinner before leaving the table.

Huo Yao came back to her senses and looked at the caller ID of Cheng Ming. She quickly pressed the answer button.

Huo Yao walked back to his room, closed the door, and asked, "Do you know where Third Brother went?"

Huo Yao narrowed his eyes and said, "No."
"Can't get in touch by phone?" Cheng Ming asked.
Huo Yao hummed lightly.
"Then I'll have someone check it out now." Cheng Ming paused, "Miss, don't worry. Master Lin shouldn't be in any danger. Wait for my news."
"Okay." Huo Yao responded straightforwardly, and nothing else could be heard in his voice.
She hung up the phone quickly.
On this side, Cheng Ming's tense nerves relaxed a little after hearing the hang-up sound on the phone. He put away his phone and turned to look at the third young master sitting on the sofa, "It's not easy to hide it from the eldest lady."
Huo Yulin was dressed in a black suit at the moment. His fair skin reflected a cold light under the light, and his fingertips were gently turning a delicate scalpel. "It's okay. Just keep it a secret for a few days."
