Chapter 1387: Full of Life
Min Yu ignored his father's gaze, stood up, walked to the window and started talking on the phone.
Professor Min looked at the figure of his unfilial son and a mouthful of blood choked in his throat.
Last time I asked him for a gift from my future daughter-in-law, and this time I asked him for her medical expenses. When did this bastard become so petty?
Min Yu answered Pei Rong's call. The two hung up without saying a few words. After Xiao Xu stood there, he turned around and looked at Professor Min on the bed, "Dad, I'm leaving first."
Professor Min heard him talking on the phone, so he asked, "Is Mr. Pei sick?"
Min Yu nodded, "Yeah, I'll go visit him later."
Professor Min and Mr. Pei were also familiar with each other. Seeing this, he reminded him, "Give my regards."
"Okay." Min Yu put away his phone and walked out of the ward.
After taking the elevator downstairs and getting in the car, Min Yu first called Zhuo Yun to ask him to prepare gifts, and then drove to Qingdao University.
*
When he arrived at Qingdao University, Huo Yao had just finished his work in the laboratory and left.
"How is your father's recovery?" Huo Yao asked while fastening his seat belt.
Min Yu thought about how Professor Min quickly got out of bed and ran to the bathroom, "Not bad, quite energetic."
Huo Yao heard this and nodded, "That's good."
"Yeah." Min Yu replied softly and started the car engine. "Mr. Pei is sick. I will take you home first and then go to see him."
Huo Yao raised his head and looked at him, surprised and asked: "Is Mr. Pei sick? Is it serious? I saw him a few days ago and he seemed to be in good spirits."
Is this the peak period of illness? Elder Wang is sick, and now Elder Pei is sick?
"Not sure, maybe not serious." When Min Yu answered the phone, he didn't hear how worried Pei Rong's voice was.
Huo Yao tapped his knees with his fingers and said, "Okay, I won't go. If you really have any problems, call me."
Although he doesn't like Mr. Pei's two sons, Mr. Pei is a good person.
Pei Rong wanted to ask Old Pei for her prescription. If it were another family, no one would be able to tell her the truth like Old Pei did.
This alone is worthy of admiration.
Min Yu responded with a "OK" and didn't say anything more about Mr. Pei.
Not long after, he sent Huo Yao back to the community, and then turned around and went to where Pei Rong lived.
**
Zhuo Yun had been waiting outside the villa where Pei Rong lived. When he saw his brother Yu's car coming, he stood on the side of the road holding a gift box. When the person got out of the car, he walked towards him, "Brother Yu."
Min Yu nodded.
Zhuo Yun didn't delay and rang the doorbell of the villa directly.
Pei Rong, who had been waiting in the villa, heard the doorbell. A strange look flashed across his eyes. He glanced at the incense burner on the corner table of the sofa, which was emitting a little smoke.
He didn't ask his aunt to open the door, but strode outside to greet Min Yu in person.
"Mr. Min, you're here." Pei Rong nodded respectfully to Min Yu and Zhuo Yun.
Min Yu nodded, followed Pei Rong inside, and asked, "Is Mr. Pei okay?"
"He just caught a cold, and he's feeling much better after taking medicine. He heard that you came to see him, and he's in much better spirits now." Pei Rong said with a smile.
He welcomed him into the living room.
The scent of agarwood in the hall is neither strong nor weak, just the right smell.
Zhuo Yun, who was following behind, handed the gift in his hand to his aunt, and glanced around the whole hall, smelling the fragrance of incense, but didn't pay much attention to it.
The rest is still being written, go to bed early~
