Chapter 384: Didn’t your adoptive parents tell you that they were moving?
I originally thought it was the Huo family, but I didn’t expect it to be the neighbor next door.
Lu Xia knew him, so when she saw him coming out, a hint of disappointment appeared in her eyes.
The neighbor glanced at Lu Xia but didn't recognize her yet. He just took out the key to open the door. When he opened the door, she had already entered the house, but his hand paused when he was about to close the door.
She looked at Lu Xia again, and seeing that she was obviously waiting for someone, she suddenly spoke: "Are you looking for the Huo family?"
Lu Xia turned his head, looked at his neighbor, and nodded.
"Hi, are you their relative? They moved some time ago and no longer live in this place." The neighbor took the initiative to inform.
Lu Xia opened his eyes wide when he heard this, "They don't live here anymore?"
When the neighbor heard Lu Xia's voice, he immediately recognized her, "You are Xia Xia."
Lu Xia nodded, not caring about anything else at this moment, and asked again: "Auntie, you said my parents moved, do you know where they moved to?"
The neighbor shook her head and said, "I don't know about that." After a pause, she asked casually, "Didn't your parents tell you that they moved?"
Lu Xia squeezed her hands. Fortunately, she was wearing a mask, otherwise she would have seen the embarrassment on her face. She said with a dry throat, "Maybe I forgot because I was busy."
The neighbor aunt only heard vaguely that the Huo family and another family had taken the wrong daughter, and she didn't know much else. She just thought it was strange that the Huo family didn't even tell their former daughter about moving.
"You can call and ask your parents." said the neighbor aunt.
Lu Xia swallowed hard, and after a while, she nodded and thanked the person.
Soon, the neighbor aunt closed the door.
Lu Xia leaned against the wall, then squatted down along the wall somewhat limply, hugging his knees tightly with both hands, his mind full of what the neighbor aunt had just said.
Her adoptive parents moved away.
There was no call or message to tell her where she moved to.
Lu Xia bit her lips tightly, and was full of resentment towards Song Ning and Huo Jinyan.
Even if you don't want to tell her where they're moving to, you should at least tell her that they've moved, right?
Don't they think about the fact that the daughter they have raised for more than ten years will come back to see them? Why do they move away without saying a word and are so eager to cut off ties with her?
Lu Xia suddenly felt like a bit of a joke.
Her biological parents were nice to her only because she brought them face.
As for her adoptive parents, ever since Huo Yao came back, they bought them a luxury car and a new house, and her, the former adopted daughter, looked like nothing.
She took out her cell phone again and looked at it. There was no call or text message or WeChat message on it.
She pulled the corners of her lips in self-mockery, stood up with the help of the wall, and slowly walked towards the elevator.

After Song Ning picked up Huo Yao from school, he did not go home directly, but took her to a restaurant for dinner.
Several of her friends had wanted to meet their daughter for a long time, but she had been busy decorating her new home. Today, everyone happened to be gathered together, so she simply brought Huo Yao along.
When Lu Xia called her, she had just met up with some friends and her phone was in her bag so she didn't hear it.
After dinner, Song Ning rejected the suggestion of several friends to go singing, said goodbye to everyone with his daughter, and drove directly home.
On the way back, Huo Yao, who was playing games in the passenger seat, suddenly received a call from Zhuo Yun.
