Chapter 698: Dealing with the Two Brothers
Two hours later, the car racing against death finally completed twenty laps and returned to the starting point.
When they heard the car door lock clang and unlock, Xiangnan and Xiangyang seemed to finally feel the hope of survival. Although their hands and feet were weak, they quickly pushed open the car door and got out.
After two hours of high-speed driving, Xiangnan's stomach was churning. He held his stomach and vomited all over the roadside.
Xiangyang was not much better than him. He sat limply on the ground with a pale face.
Huo Changfeng sat in the car, looking at the two brothers, with a flash of sarcasm at the corners of his lips. For those who dared to do something to the Huo family, such punishment was already very light.
His assistant had already walked in front of Xiangnan and Xiangyang, looking down at them with no expression on his face, "How is it? What does it feel like to have brake failure?"
Xiangnan had recovered from his shock. He rested his hands on his knees, bit his lip, and said, "You are committing an illegal act."
"Brother, stop talking." Xiang Yang beside him said hurriedly.
The assistant smiled upon hearing this and said, "It seems that your mind is still not clear, otherwise, how about I let you run a few more laps?"
Xiangnan didn't dare to say anything. He never wanted to experience the feeling of being on the verge of life and death again in his life.
"I was the only one who braked the car. It had nothing to do with my brother. Please let him go." Xiangyang said with a trembling voice.
Xiangnan looked at his brother, "Xiaoyang, what nonsense are you talking about..."
"Brother, people must be punished for doing wrong things. I was the one who braked, I admit it, and you don't have to say anything more." Xiangyang interrupted Xiangnan. If he had known that Lucky was not someone he could afford to offend, he would definitely not have done that.
He really regretted his impulsiveness.
Huo Changfeng's assistant beside him clapped his hands as he watched, "Tsk tsk, what a deep brotherly love. Don't worry, neither of you can escape."
Xiang Yang looked up at him after hearing this, his eyes showing fear: "I said I was the one who broke the brakes, it has nothing to do with my brother."
The assistant fished out his phone from his pocket, opened Weibo, and clicked on the post about "Huo Xiang's mental disorder leading to a car accident" which had become less popular.
Then he squatted down and held it in front of Xiangnan's eyes, "You should be familiar with this Weibo, right?"
Xiangnan looked at the screen of his mobile phone, panic flashed across his eyes. When he wanted to speak, he was interrupted. "You bought marketing accounts to spread rumors online. When will you be able to innovate your usual tricks?"
"I didn't do this..."
The assistant pinched Xiangnan's chin with one hand, applied a little force with his fingertips, and sneered: "I am stating the facts to you. Everyone knows who did it."
Xiangnan's face was already pale, and the pain in his chin instantly made his forehead sweat, but the pain was secondary. It was when he looked into the other person's eyes that he subconsciously felt fear.
The murderous aura was overwhelming and there was no warmth at all.
The assistant let go of his hand, stood up, and slowly adjusted his sleeves. He then glanced at the two brothers and said calmly, "We are now in a civilized and legal society. I'm sure you all know what to do next."
Xiangnan was stunned and hadn't reacted yet. Xiangyang beside him quickly said, "I know. I will turn myself in, and my brother will also publicly apologize to Lucky."
Upon hearing this, the assistant nodded and said generously: "Well, then I'll give you an hour?"
