Chapter 225 The most unstoppable thing in the world

Five photos were spread out on the table.

The person gazing at them remains motionless, as still as a statue. If it weren't for the wind blowing the petals on the windowsill, perhaps time would have felt frozen.

Wei Sushen stood quietly aside, looking at Fang Shan in the same posture. The principle he followed seemed to be that if the enemy doesn't move, I won't move.

A few minutes later, Fang Shan rolled his eyes and then stretched his stiff arms: "Are you going or not?"

Wei Sushen pressed his brows habitually: "Isn't this what you have always wished for?"

"That being said," Fang Shan pressed his chest, "I suddenly feel a little nervous."

Wei Sushen looked at him quietly without saying anything.

Fang Shan expressed his concerns: "Going back in time doesn't sound plausible. I need to be fully prepared."

System 333 happened to be passing by the corridor and saw that the door was not closed tightly. Fang Shan frowned, suddenly alert, and half of his head was stuck in from outside: "What are you doing?"

Fang Shan ignored his disrespectful words and waved warmly instead, which frightened System 333 so much that it shrank its neck and regretted taking the initiative.

"Come in quickly."

System 333 cautiously extended a leg, then squeezed his entire body through the crack in the door. His smile was weak. "I just wanted to go downstairs and get a glass of water."

Fang Shan was unwilling to let him go easily: "Have you ever heard of time traveling back?"

System 333 nodded. "Hasn't headquarters issued a document stating that a rollback can be performed once sufficient missions have been completed?"

When he said this, his expression changed slightly, and he guessed what Fang Shan wanted to do.

"I'm planning a spontaneous trip. What do you think?"

At least we were tied to the same rope, so System 333's advice was quite pertinent: "Given your luck, it's best to plan ahead for possible emergencies."

Fang Shan narrowed his eyes and said, "Great minds think alike."

As he spoke, he opened the drawer and unfolded a long scroll that was three meters long and two meters wide, with densely packed small characters written on it.

System 333 took one look and felt dizzy.

Fang Shan: "See if there is anything else that needs to be improved or supplemented?"

System 333 was forced to read the entire thing, and in a daze, he slowly spoke, "You simply want to know the true face of the evil god." When Fang Shan nodded, he pointed at Wei Sushen and said, "So, will he go?"

Fang Shan continued to nod.

System 333 rubbed his temples. "The worst-case scenario is that your host and the Heretic God are related in past lives. If they appear in the same time and space, one of them will be annihilated."

“…”

There was a sudden, eerie silence. System 333 observed the expressions of the two people, scratched his head, and said, "I just said it casually."

Birds of a feather flock together. After spending a long time with Fang Shan, he gradually became addicted to some meaningless and brainless idol dramas.

Without a response, System 333's throat moved: "Don't take this strange imagining to heart."

Fang Shan said gravely, "No, what you said makes sense."

Although it is ridiculous and illogical, there is still a one in ten million chance of it happening.

Seeing this, System 333 couldn't help but burst into laughter: "You don't really believe in the theory of past lives?"

"Of course I don't believe it."

"Nonsense."

The two voices fell almost at the same time.

Wei Sushen and Fang Shan exchanged a glance and took the initiative to speak: "I suddenly remembered that the company has an important business to discuss recently."

Fang Shan: "Work is the priority. There's no need to do any missions when traveling back in time. I'll go alone this time."

Wei Sushen: "Have a pleasant journey."

System 333, who was watching from the sidelines, twitched his eyes and said with a gloomy expression, "You are so afraid of death that you should reflect on yourself."

He wanted to say a few more words of thanks, but Fang Shan glanced at him and he immediately lowered his head and behaved himself obediently.

After submitting five photos, a prompt popped up instantly:

1. Time Travel is still in the testing phase and involves certain risks.

2. You may encounter colorful special situations during the review process, and minors are not allowed to enter.

Wei Sushen is bound to the system, so what Fang Shan can see, he can naturally see too.

"What does the second one mean?"

Fang Shan tried to keep a smile and explained: "Special circumstances usually refer to..."

Wei Sushen interrupted mercilessly: "I mean the adjective in front."

While Fang Shan was still deciding what to say, System 333 scoffed, "666 is definitely yellow, and as for you, your corresponding color is exclusive green."

Before the last word could be uttered, there was a loud bang, and System 333 was stepped on the ground, causing several cracks in the floor.

He had no doubt that if this wasn't the second floor, Fang Shan would be able to step him into the ground and leave him to grow mushrooms next year.

System 333 struggled to get up. To please Fang Shan, he avoided Wei Sushen and whispered in his ear, "Wei Sushen won't be around when time goes back. Even if you secretly live with one wife and one concubine, no one will know."

Fang Shan subconsciously looked in the direction where someone was standing and said with great certainty, "He seems to be able to hear it."

System 333 turned his neck extremely slowly and found that the other party was giving him a peaceful smile.

System 333 swallowed reflexively and clutched Fang Shan's sleeve tightly: "Save me."

Fang Shan laughed: "You are the system, he is just an ordinary person who is weak and can't take care of himself."

System 333 really wanted to spit at him, but due to lack of strength, it just snorted at him instead.

Without further ado, Fang Shan checked the risk disclosure option and agreed.

Afterwards, he opened all the windows and opened his arms to prepare for the retrospection. Unfortunately, one minute passed, ten minutes passed... When his arms were a little sore, he was still standing there.

Fang Shan closed the window again, his face indifferent: "You're wasting my feelings."

System 333 dragged his chin and muttered, "Even if headquarters develops something unstable, it shouldn't be ineffective."

Fang Shan was thinking about something else: "If I swallow five photos and am judged a failure, will they compensate me?"

For example, at the end of the year, a certificate of merit for three good employees will be awarded?

Even Wei Sushen couldn't stand such an exaggerated daydream. He even chose the wrong host, and he was still thinking about employee benefits?

System 333 asked Fang Shan, "Given the current situation, it's going to be difficult to reach a conclusion anytime soon. What are you going to do?"

Fang Shan thought seriously for several seconds and made a decision: "I'll go find Aunt Zhang and ask her to cook a few more dishes tonight."

Supplementing sugar is good for thinking.

Aunt Zhang has two major hobbies in her life: watching family ethics dramas, and cooking delicious food.

Fang Shan can not only see things the same way as her but also knows how to appreciate her. He can be said to be Aunt Zhang's favorite person in this family.

The table was full of dinner.

The little fat boy rubbed his round face and said excitedly: "Is this an early New Year's Day?"

When Aunt Zhang served the dishes, she placed the meat dishes closer to him and Fang Shan. She smiled and said, "You've both lost weight recently, so you need to eat more."

These words touched the hearts of both of them.

Wei Ye lost half of his appetite because of this sentence. Jiang Meiling put on a just right smile and told the fat boy to eat slowly.

Although it wasn't a happy occasion, it could at least be called a family reunion, and the atmosphere was quite soft under the orange lights.

Fang Shan removed a lobster shell and, as the tender meat was about to enter his mouth, his expression faltered slightly, and his chopsticks paused at his lips. It was only a moment of hesitation, which he quickly concealed.

Just now, he suddenly received a notification that the channel had been successfully established.

Fang Shan ate the delicious food while pondering the deeper meaning of this sentence. However, before he could come to a conclusion, the voice rang out again -

Transmission is about to begin, ten, nine, eight...

Fang Shan calculated that even if he ran at the speed of a 100-meter sprint champion, he would not have enough time to run up the stairs.

"Why are you panicking?" Wei Sushen took the initiative to communicate with his consciousness.

He slowly stood up and pulled out a piece of red cloth from under the table.

The little fat boy was halfway through chewing the chicken leg when he asked in surprise, "Brother, what are you doing?"

Wei Sushen: "Perform a magic trick to liven up the atmosphere."

The little fat man and Jiang Meiling both showed interested expressions, but Wei Ye frowned.

Wei Sushen shook the red cloth in front of Fang Shan, but the idea didn't work, and the latter had not been teleported.

The little fat boy laughed so hard that he almost choked: "This doesn't look like magic, it looks like bullfighting!"

Wei Sushen grabbed the cloth and shook it again. The next second, Fang Shan disappeared out of thin air.

“…” The little fat man couldn’t laugh anymore.

After an unknown amount of time, he clutched the edge of the bowl, trembling, "Where are the people?"

Wei Sushen: "What is magic?"

The fat boy tried to find his voice again: "Out of nothing, something becomes something?"

Wei Sushen nodded with satisfaction: "You have mastered the essence of magic."

The little fat man showed a stiff smile. He understood the principle, but no matter how good a magician was, didn't he need a prop when performing magic tricks?

Wei Sushen saw his confusion and claimed that the red tablecloth in his hand was a prop prepared in advance.

The fat boy was frightened by him. Jiang Meiling couldn't bear to watch it, but her expression remained unchanged: "Eat first."

The little fat boy swallowed it stupidly.

Wei Sushen sighed and glanced at Jiang Meiling's expression, knowing that it would be difficult to get away with it today.

Perhaps because he was stimulated by the abundance of delicious food, the little fat boy ate extraordinarily fast. After dinner, he habitually wanted to turn on the TV, but Jiang Meiling stopped him. "You ate too much for dinner. Go for a walk in the yard."

As soon as the fat boy left the house, Jiang Meiling looked at Wei Sushen with a slightly scrutinizing gaze.

She said nothing, seemingly giving the right to speak to the other party, but invisibly creating considerable pressure.

Faced with this scene, Wei Ye showed no mercy and sat quietly in his seat drinking tea after dinner.

Wei Sushen remained silent. From childhood to adulthood, his mother would fully support him no matter what he did, so he could not make up bizarre lies to clean up the mess.

"I..." He opened his mouth to utter a word and fell silent again.

Wei Sushen lowered his eyes, and Fang Shan's smiling face suddenly appeared in his mind. He began to think about what the system would say if it were him.

The answer came quickly. When he looked up again, Wei Sushen was surprisingly calm: "Fang Shan's identity is indeed extraordinary." After a pause, he continued: "Father has known about this for a long time."

Wei Ye almost spit out a mouthful of tea.

"Really?" Jiang Meiling turned to look at Wei Ye and repeated casually, "So you knew it all along."

Wei Ye's hand holding the cup was a little unsteady, and it took him a long time to steady himself.

The author has something to say: Diverting blame is like a relay race, the baton must be passed to the next person quickly.

Fang Shan: You’re dead.

Wei Sushen: You are dead.

Wei Ye: You...I'm dead!
