Chapter 47: A Plan for the Future

On a quiet night, some slept soundly, while others tossed and turned, unable to sleep. Moonlight fell on Fang Shan's face, flowing quietly as if accompanying his even breathing. Wei Sushen turned his back several times, then couldn't help but turn back to gaze at Fang Shan's peaceful sleeping face.

Rose-colored lips, pure yet sexy.

Wei Sushen held his forehead, suddenly realizing the horror of pyramid schemes. The Mary Sue literature he'd been forced into his head was like a sponge, soaked by the water in his brain and beginning to expand infinitely.

Fang Shan, the culprit, woke up slowly from a sweet dream in the early morning facing the rising sun, with the corners of his mouth still slightly raised.

He stretched lazily and rubbed his face against the pillow twice. Before he could fully appreciate the beauty of the morning, his eyes met Wei Sushen's unexpectedly.

She raised her orchid finger and said delicately, "Good morning, darling."

Wei Sushen closed his eyes: "Perhaps there is something I should emphasize."

Fang Shan opened his eyes wide and blinked faster than usual.

A sentence emerged uncontrollably in Wei Sushen's mind again: Eyes as innocent as a fawn, full of innocence.

I don't know if it was intentional, but Fang Shan was wearing a loose shirt with the first three buttons undone, just enough to reveal his smooth and attractive collarbone. He walked barefoot to the ground and stood in front of Wei Sushen: "You look at me so strangely."

Wei Sushen avoided his gaze and walked to the French window: "It's working time now."

A word of enlightenment woke Fang Shan up from his Mary Sue dream and continued to play the script of his flirtatious little lover.

Through the reflection in the window, Wei Sushen roughly confirmed that Fang Shan had returned to normal. As expected, it was easier to follow the other party's way of thinking than to reason with him.

Ever since Fang Shan came to the Wei family, Wei Sushen has been eating breakfast on average half an hour later than before, and most of this time he is fighting wits and courage with the system.

The fat boy had finished breakfast, his gaze lingering between Wei Sushen and Fang Shan. He felt something was odd about the dynamic between them: his eldest brother looked tired, while Fang Shan was full of energy. He endured it again and again, but finally couldn't help but ask the question that had been plaguing him for so long. He quietly pointed to the sky, then to the ground, toward Wei Sushen.

Wei Sushen frowned: "What do you want to say?"

The fat boy winked and came over to whisper to him, "Brother, tell me the truth, Up or Down?"

There was a hint of impatience in Wei Sushen's eyes, and he didn't understand his hint.

The little fat man continued to point at the ceiling with one hand and the ground with the other.

Fang Shan couldn't bear to watch it any longer, so he ate his steamed bun and said, "He asked if you were the top one or the bottom one."

The gleam in Wei Sushen's eyes suddenly turned cold. He didn't argue with the fat boy immediately. Instead, he quietly walked outside and leaned against the door frame as if waiting for someone. A few minutes later, Wei Ye came back from his walk with Jiang Meiling. "What are you doing standing by the door?"

Wei Sushen followed them in and said, "I'm thinking about finding a high-level math teacher for Xiao Pei."

As soon as he opened his mouth, the little fat boy felt something was wrong, but it was too late. After Wei Sushen's reminder, Wei Ye realized that it was already vacation time and asked the little fat boy, "How did your final exams go?"

Before answering, two lines of tears flowed down her chubby cheeks——

Silence is better than words at this time.

"Very good." Wei Ye smiled somewhat cruelly: "You didn't pass, right?"

The little fat boy looked him straight in the eyes and said in a pleading tone, "I'll try harder next time."

Wei Ye walked up to the little fat boy and said, "No matter how bad your brother is, he still gets a scholarship every year."

In a corner that they didn't notice, Fang Shan made a "tsk" sound and stared at Wei Sushen, making the latter feel quite guilty.

Thanks to the little fat boy, Wei Ye forgot to scold Wei Sushen for the beating he received last time.

"May you wish me good luck." Fang Shan mouthed something to the little fat boy, spread his hands helplessly, and left leisurely with Wei Sushen.

The sky outside was a clear blue, and the clouds that gathered together looked more and more like wool. Fang Shan said to Wei Sushen, "Don't keep plucking the wool like a sheep. The little fat boy is really pitiful."

"He's not as stupid as you think."

When Wei Sushen thought of updown's question, he felt that he was too kind to Wei Supei.

Fang Shan: "Today is already the third day, and Zhao Shi still hasn't called."

Wei Sushen said calmly: "I will call you in the evening."

Zhao Shi is the kind of person who would make a decision early but give an answer at the last minute, as if this could highlight that he was forced to do so.

Fang Shan did not doubt Wei Sushen's words. He looked around and stopped at the movie theater not far away: "It's still early in the evening, why don't we go watch a movie and relax."

He thinks the recently released "The Princess Diaries" is quite good.

Wei Sushen didn't even think about it and smiled coldly: "Forget it."

He originally wanted to fight for it again, but when he met the host's eyes that seemed to see through everything, Fang Shan felt regretful but did not show it at all. He understood that the brainwashing plan had to be temporarily suspended.

The two of them ended up going to Wei Sushen's company to kill time. The former checked recent important documents while Fang Shan sat bored to the side. Fortunately, Zhao Shi called sooner than expected, not only agreeing but also asking Wei Sushen to meet privately.

High-end entertainment club.

It wasn't too busy here during the day. Zhao Shi was dressed more casually than in the company. When he saw Wei Sushen in a suit and tie, he cursed him inwardly, calling him a scoundrel.

Zhao Shi booked a private room in advance. Every detail was designed uniquely. It was decorated according to the themes of the four seasons, and the temperatures were different for each room.

Zhao Shi had booked a winter room, where not only was the temperature low, but snowflake-like crystals would occasionally fall from the roof. He reached out and caught one or two, rubbing them between his fingers. He said in a flirtatious tone, "Do you know the beauty of this room?"

Wei Sushen didn't say anything. Fang Shan said frankly, "In hot places, you can enjoy erotic dancing, and in cold places, doing certain things is a different experience."

Zhao Shi almost spit out a mouthful of juice. He just wanted to take the opportunity to make a joke, but he never thought that someone would say such words in front of him so openly.

Fang Shan's initiative was not only reflected in words, but also in actions. It was clearly a large sofa, but he insisted on squeezing into Wei Sushen's arms: "I'm cold."

Now Zhao Shi became the embarrassed person. Fang Shan's state at this moment was like the morning glory growing on the fence, passionate and wanton, charming and seductive.

From beginning to end, Wei Sushen was like Liuxia Hui, sitting still as a mountain, seriously thinking about whether he should propose to Fang Shan to change the script. The system that devoted itself to playing the role of a coquettish little lover was not suitable to be brought outside.

When the waiter came to deliver the drinks, Fang Shan noticed a figure passing by in the corridor and whispered something to Wei Sushen.

Wei Sushen raised his eyebrows slightly and said softly, "You must have read it correctly. According to the information Arthur sent me before, Chen Bingying started working here after resigning from the bar."

Zhao Shi coughed, interrupting the scene of the two of them whispering to each other.

"Are there any special and prestigious customers coming here today?"

Zhao Shi was stunned by Fang Shan's question... It sounded like he wanted to kick Wei Sushen out and find another rich man.

Zhao Shi was pleased with his own idea and curled his lips: "There are many people with status."

Fang Shan pointed at Wei Sushen: "He's on this level."

Zhao Shi shook his head.

Fang Shan pressed on, "What about those who are slightly inferior to him?"

Zhao Shi subconsciously said: "Du Hong."

Fang Shan seemed quite interested: "Could you introduce me to him?"

Zhao Shi waved his hand: "It's not the same circle. The Du family is in politics."

Fang Shan lowered his eyes, a calculating gleam flashing across them. Before Chen Fengtang disappeared, he had said that Chen Bingying had saved the grandson of a high-ranking official. He wondered if it had anything to do with Du Hong.

Wei Sushen put down the cup and suddenly said, "I remember Du Hong is a few years older than us."

Zhao Shi nodded. "He's only two or three years older. My mom's been urging me to get married lately, always bringing him up, saying Du Hong's child is already two years old. She doesn't even think about the fact that he got her pregnant first and even paid a huge breakup fee. There was a leadership change a while ago, and it almost drove his father out of office."

Fang Shan's eyes flickered: "He's still single now?"

Zhao Shi teased: "Why, are you interested?"

"We'll know if we're compatible after we meet," he said to Wei Sushen, "How about we move to a different private room, preferably one closer to Du Hong."

Wei Sushen had no objection and rang the bell to call the waiter to change seats.

Looking at the tall figure, Zhao Shi only felt that he saw a green light above Wei Sushen's head.

The newly arranged private room happened to be opposite the one where Du Hong was. Wei Sushen winked at Zhao Shi, who, under pressure from the evil forces, stepped forward and knocked on the door of the box.

"I heard that Mr. Du is here, so I came to say hello." Zhao Shi said with a smile.

As the saying goes, you shouldn't hit someone who smiles at you. Although Du Hong felt strange about this, he still stood up and said a few words to him, concluding with a polite remark: "Would you like to play together?"

"Okay!" Zhao Shi was very enthusiastic, as if they were good friends who had known each other for many years.

Du Hong's fake smile froze, and his lips moved, but he didn't know what to say next. Zhao Shi pretended not to notice and waved to Wei Sushen behind him: "Young Master Du said he would treat us, so at least give him some face."

The smile that was already strained to hold on completely vanished. Du Hong had dealt with Wei Sushen several times before and knew him to be a quiet, cold, and arrogant person. He assumed he wouldn't come. However, the reality once again exceeded his expectations. Wei Sushen not only came, but also found a random place to sit down. "Mr. Du, you're too polite."

“…”

As soon as they arrived, the atmosphere in the private room suddenly became less lively than before, which was mostly due to Wei Sushen. He was like an iceberg, quietly emitting cold air in one place.

Du Hong came out to relax with his friends, but now his mood for fun has suddenly dropped by half.

The door was knocked politely a few times, and the girl who walked in was eye-catching. She had a high ponytail, big eyes, and looked very pure.

"Is it you?"

Two voices overlapped, one from Du Hong and the other from Chen Bingying.

Chen Bingying knew that Du Hong was here and deliberately created this chance encounter, but Wei Sushen's appearance was beyond her expectations.

Fang Shan didn't expect Wei Sushen to take the initiative to greet him, so he smiled and said, "What a coincidence."

Chen Bingying also remembered Fang Shan and suppressed her surprise.

Du Hong was slightly surprised: "Know him?"

Chen Bingying looked at Wei Sushen and said, "Thanks to this gentleman and his friends, I was saved last time."

"I'm not his friend." Fang Shan leaned closer to Wei Sushen: "I'm his lover."

Chen Bingying looked dazed for a moment. Fang Shan narrowed his eyes to make sure that she was not in a daze, but rather engaged in a silent communication.

After a moment, Chen Bingying came back to her senses: "You really know how to joke."

Fang Shan rubbed Wei Sushen's face directly... Unfortunately, he didn't estimate the height difference, and rubbed it off-center, accidentally touching his lower lip.

Less than a second had passed, and Fang Shan's expression remained unchanged: "Do you still think this is a joke?"

Everyone around was stunned, but Wei Sushen's subconscious reaction was -

Oh, this goblin tastes damn sweet!

The author has something to say: Wei Sushen: Invisible brainwashing is the most deadly.
