Chapter 216 After chasing for a while, they found it.

Chen Zhennan stood at the bow of the warship, watching the chaos ahead with a cold smile.

The sea breeze howled, and his clothes fluttered in the wind, like a battle flag.

Despite Lin Cheng's order to take cover, the two warships inevitably drew closer and closer due to their different directions.

The deafening gunfire grew increasingly intense, and the Japanese soldiers on the warships were torn to pieces, but they still did not give up their suicidal charge.

Lin Cheng frowned, his heart pounding as the two warships drew closer.

As the two warships approached to within striking distance, countless shirtless Japanese soldiers carrying torches suddenly emerged from the Japanese ships, clearly intending to board and set them ablaze.

Lin Cheng's eyes widened like full moons, and a strong sense of worry welled up in his heart.

The Japanese soldiers' frenzied charge made him worry that his warship would be set on fire.

Just as the tension reached its peak, the special forces soldiers suddenly pulled out short wooden sticks from behind their backs and accurately threw them at the enemy's boat.

Immediately afterwards, a series of violent explosions rang out, and flames and smoke instantly enveloped the enemy ship.

Lin Cheng's eyes widened even more. He could hardly believe what he was seeing. These wooden sticks had such tremendous power; it was simply a miracle on the battlefield.

He turned to Chen Zhennan, his face full of curiosity, and asked, "Your Majesty, what is that thing? How can it have such great power?"

Chen Zhennan's lips curled into a smug smile as he slowly explained, "That's called a hand grenade. There will be even more powerful ones in the future."

The power of the hand grenade was as devastating as thunder. The Japanese soldiers on the warship were blown to pieces in the explosion, their screams mixed with the roar of flames, like a call from hell.

Chen Zhennan stood at the bow of the ship, his gaze sharp as a knife, his eyes devoid of any pity.

His mercy was reserved only for the people of his Great Yan. He would show no sympathy for those who dared to offend him, especially for this beastly race.

“There are always some fools in this world who overestimate their abilities,” Chen Zhennan said coldly, his voice filled with merciless sarcasm. “They think they are strong enough to provoke even stronger opponents. They will only realize their mistake when they are beaten to a pulp.”

Chen Zhennan's tone was full of contempt for these Japanese devils, as if he were looking at a group of ants who were courting their own destruction.

These Japanese devils on the other side are exactly that kind of race.

Their arrogance disgusted Chen Zhennan. He shook his head slightly and sneered, "Give them a chance to prolong their lives. Once they've grown all their teeth, they'll definitely bite you."

Lin Cheng didn't know why Chen Zhennan hated the Japanese so much, but he could see that the anger in Chen Zhennan's eyes had not diminished because of the impending victory.

"Lin Cheng! Give the order: do not let any ship escape, annihilate them all!"

Upon hearing this, Lin Cheng immediately turned around and shouted loudly, "The fleet should maneuver left and right to surround all enemy ships and annihilate them all!"

As the order was given, the warships quickly adjusted their formation, like a swift pride of lions, and surrounded the enemy ships with agility and speed.

Amidst the continuous explosions, smoke filled the sea, and Japanese warships sank like prey, leaving behind countless wood chips and bloodstains.

The atmosphere of battle grew increasingly tense, with the air thick with the smell of gunpowder and the salty tang of the sea.

The remaining dozen or so ships turned around in fear, trying to escape this nightmare.

Chen Zhennan snorted coldly, his gaze as sharp as a hawk's, thinking to himself: "Humans are just humans, and their instinct for survival is the same."

He looked at the enemy ships trying to escape, and a feeling of disdain and anger welled up inside him.

"Lin Cheng! Order a pursuit! Don't let a single one escape!"

"Yes, Your Majesty!"

Lin Cheng quickly turned around and gave the order to the flag bearer.

Like awakened beasts, the warships quickly adjusted their formation and launched a pursuit of the fleeing enemy ships.

The waves rolled beneath the ship, as if cheering on the chase.

As the pursuit continued, enemy ships were sunk one after another, and the sea was littered with floating wreckage and broken logs.

However, just when everyone thought victory was in sight, Lin Cheng's gaze suddenly sharpened. He noticed that an enemy ship was still struggling to break through the encirclement amidst the chaos and was fleeing towards the distant sea.

"Quick! That ship!" Lin Cheng shouted anxiously, ordering them to give chase.

The fleeing enemy ship, like a cunning seagull, darted nimbly and swiftly between the crests and troughs of the waves.

The ship wasn't large, but it was extremely maneuverable and faster than Lin Cheng's warships.

Lin Cheng kept his eyes fixed on the ship, surveyed the course, and found no deviation whatsoever.

"We must catch up with that ship!"

With Lin Cheng's command, an extremely absurd scene unfolded on the sea.

A small warship led the way, followed by 150 imposing large warships, like a group of behemoths chasing a small mouse—a scene that was both spectacular and comical.

These large warships cut through the waves and charged forward menacingly, while the small warship seemed to be playing hide-and-seek, always cleverly avoiding pursuit.

Time passed second by second, and the chase lasted for two whole days and two nights.

The waves lapped against the ship's hull, the stars spun in the night sky, and the sun rose again from the horizon.

On the morning of the third day, Chen Zhennan stood at the bow of the boat, looking at the small boat that had always kept a distance of several hundred meters from him. His expression changed from serious to blank, and finally he couldn't help but blurt out: "This is outrageous!"

His voice carried a hint of helplessness, yet he found the absurdity of the chase amusing.

Lin Cheng stood next to Chen Zhennan, his expression a mix of embarrassment and amusement. He scratched his head and explained somewhat awkwardly, "Your Majesty, our boat is fast enough. That boat is too small; we simply can't catch up."

Upon hearing this, Chen Zhennan couldn't help but laugh out loud and shook his head: "I know, it's already quite an achievement that we've managed to catch up until now without being caught by that small boat."

Lin Cheng took a deep breath and slowly explained, "Your Majesty, I have been keeping a close eye on the flight path these past few days, and it has not deviated at all. We will be arriving in Japan soon."

"Okay, get ready. Once we get there, we'll figure out how to find their port."

After saying that, Chen Zhennan reached for his submachine gun, released the safety, aimed at the small boat fleeing ahead, and pulled the trigger.

The small boat seemed to be whipped by an invisible lash, hastily accelerating its escape.

Chen Zhennan's marksmanship was accurate and powerful, and each shot caused panic among the enemies on the small boat.

After the small boat slowed down, Chen Zhennan fired a few more shots, and the boat accelerated again. In this way, Chen Zhennan practically drove the small boat forward until he saw the coastline.

Lin Cheng shouted loudly, "Your Majesty, look over there, it looks like a port."

Upon hearing this, Chen Zhennan curled up the corners of his mouth, "If you keep chasing after them, you'll find them."
