Chapter 20 The young lady's eating manners are not very good.

Hong Xiaoduo was unaware that someone was curious about her. The meat buns smelled so good and were huge. In her memory, the buns she used to eat were too small and small, not enough to swallow in one bite, and not enough to satisfy her craving.

These wontons are delicious, and the soup is really flavorful. No wonder Xiao Kaiyang is craving them.

The soup didn't have many complicated ingredients, just bright green scallions and some lard on the surface.

"Hey, Brother Zitao, look at how that young lady eats. Those seven little bald guys are much more decent." Master Dong was a bit speechless.

No sooner had he finished speaking than the person in front of him stood up, threw a piece of silver on the tea table, and walked out.

"Brother Zitao, where are you going? This tea has only been brewed once!" Master Dong asked, puzzled, and quickly stood up to follow him.

This fellow was passing through this place and came to visit him. He had been coming here for three days to enjoy tea and chat, and each time he would sit for the whole afternoon. The main reason was that there really wasn't much scenic spot to go in this town of Mopan.

There are many shops in town, but who has ever seen a man enjoy shopping and going into a shop?

If you're going, it's because you need to buy something, and you selectively enter the shops with a specific purpose.

"I've been drinking too much tea these past few days, it's good for getting rid of the grease," Mu Zitao replied as he walked.

What does that mean? Master Dong didn't understand at first. This guy always liked to speak in roundabout ways, making people guess. It was a real brain drain to talk to him!

"So?" Master Dong watched his brother enter the steamed bun shop.

Mu Zitao glanced at him: "So, you get hungry easily, come and have a few steamed buns."

Upon hearing this, Master Dong gritted his teeth, then sat down, still muttering in confusion, "Didn't you say you've always had a poor appetite?"

"Why are you talking so much nonsense? If you don't want to treat us, just say so. I'll pay for the meat buns." After Mu Zitao finished speaking, he saw that the bun shop waiter had already come over.

"Ten steamed buns, and two bowls of wontons, please," Mu Zitao said to the waiter after glancing at the food on the next table.

The waiter cleverly greeted them: "Alright, ten steamed buns and two bowls of wontons for the two gentlemen."

"Ten, ten?" Master Dong was startled when he heard this.

He had just eaten lunch not long ago. It wasn't an empty stomach in the morning, and it wasn't snack time yet. Even if he were a grown man, he couldn't eat five wontons right now.

If you can't finish it, you can leave the leftovers and just pay the amount. It's a top-quality meal, and most people can only eat a few bites before leaving. It's not that they're reluctant to waste a few buns.

He knew this guy's appetite better than anyone else; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he only ate a cup of water and a grain of millet with each meal.

But even though they eat little, it doesn't hinder their intelligence, their growth, their martial arts training, or their inexhaustible strength to lead thousands of troops into battle.

Master Dong sometimes suspected that this guy was secretly eating some kind of elixir or magic potion.

The steamed buns were quickly brought over, and the wonton stall next door also brought over its wontons. The two of them were sitting at the table next to Hong Xiaoduo. Mu Zitao could see her profile from his seat. Seeing that she had picked up her fourth steamed bun, he also picked one up and took a bite at the same time. Ah, it was delicious.

Hong Xiaoduo saw that customers had come to the next table, but what did it have to do with her? The steamed bun stall was open all day long, so of course customers would come at any time.

The seven little bald boys were completely absorbed in eating their meat buns and had no time to pay attention to anything else.

The shopkeeper had just finished making another steamer of buns. In the meantime, he and his assistant stood there, gazing absently at the customers at the tables outside.

The guests this afternoon were a bit special.

A young woman with a sword, a handsome bald boy and a bald girl, and then two elegantly dressed young men arrived, both of whom were extremely handsome.

The shopkeeper turned to look at the calendar hanging on the wall. Was today some special auspicious day?

Having run a steamed bun shop for over a decade, he certainly knew his own buns were delicious. But the way these ten customers, young and old, were eating today... well, let's just say it was... pleasing to the eye!

For the first time in his life, the owner of the steamed bun shop was filled with regret. Why wasn't there anyone skilled in painting present to capture this scene in a portrait?

On the street in the small town, steaming hot steamers, a few small square tables, and ten good-looking diners elegantly eating the buns he made—what a warm and cozy scene!

Of course, the young lady didn't eat very elegantly, but that must have been because the steamed buns he made were so delicious that she had never tasted them anywhere else, which is why she ate them a little faster.

"Hey, young lady, may I ask why all of them are bald?" Master Dong couldn't contain his curiosity any longer; he felt he would lose sleep if he didn't get a proper answer.

If the guy next to him says he's stupid, he'll definitely disagree. Nobody could guess the answer to this question, right?

What are you looking at? Don't think I don't know you're curious too. While waiting for a response, I rolled my eyes at my brother.

Hong Xiaoduo had just finished eating. She took out the handkerchief that the master of the clothing shop had given her, wiped her mouth, and looked over when she heard a customer at the next table asking a question.

When people see a stranger for the first time, if they don't feel any resistance based on the other person's expression and tone of voice, then the other person is generally not considered a bad person.

Of course, I didn't expect to get to know the other party or develop a deep relationship with them, nor did I need to determine what kind of person they were.

I've had my fill of meat buns, and it was all thanks to the lecherous scoundrel who treated me; I didn't have to spend my own money.

She's in a pretty good mood right now, and when you're in a good mood, you're naturally more polite to people you find agreeable.
