"Young lady, my son and I will slaughter one for you today. Whenever you want to eat the other one, just come find us at the south end of town. We've already told the young masters how to find us. Fresh mutton tastes the best," the old man told Hong Xiaoduo.
"Okay, thank you for your hard work, sir. By the way, have you had breakfast yet?" Hong Xiaoduo replied with a smile, and then asked.
"In reply to your question, young lady, my father and I had just finished using some food at home before coming here. The young gentlemen also asked about it just now," the old man replied happily.
Hong Xiaoduo nodded and went into the dining room next to the kitchen. Tianxuan followed her in and brought her some meat porridge, fried eggs, fried bread slices, and a few side dishes that she had made that morning.
"Oh, right, Tianxuan, go ask them if they have any chickens, eggs, firewood, or anything like that—the ingredients we need. If they do, buy them from them," Hong Xiaoduo said, remembering that Tianxuan was about to leave.

They still needed to look after the house, and Quan Jinghuai was worried about leaving Tianxuan alone at home, so he stayed as well.
To Hong Xiaoduo's surprise, A Ping also offered to stay.
"Let's go shopping together, it's fine," Tianquan kindly advised Aping.
Aping laughed and said, "I don't like shopping. You guys go ahead, I'll help Brother Tianxuan peel bamboo skewers."
Seeing what A-Ping said, the others didn't say anything more, except for Hong Xiaoduo, who glanced at A-Ping, seemingly lost in thought...
