The young girl was at the age where she loved to dress up and wanted to look pretty, but she didn't wear a single hairpin. She simply tied her hair into a ponytail with a cotton brocade rope.

At the table, after listening to Murong Jing recount how Fan Wu came to be by his side, and learning that Fan Wu had stayed up all night on the roof of the inn where she was staying, Hong Xiaoduo took a sip of tea, put down her teacup, and looked at Murong Jing: "So, what does Young Master hope I will do by telling me all this..."
