Yuanli raised her voice excitedly and said happily, "Hey, there really is a big black fish. Let's catch another one and bring it back for them to try."
Yuanli walked towards the fish with her back to the pond. However, both of its lips were hooked. If the fish had taken the bait, only the upper or lower lip would have been pierced by the hook, definitely not both.
Presumably, if Si Tiao hadn't hooked the fish for her, there must be something else at the bottom of the water. Fearing it might really be Si Tiao, Yuanli didn't dare touch the fish directly, fearing her saliva might be in it.
