Chapter 196 You Are Mine (2/2)

She paused, then sneered, "Am I trying to spite you?"

"Yeah." He nodded blankly, pursed his lips, and looked quite aggrieved. "It's clearly you who's ignoring me."

"..." Shen Tangning was stunned, staring at him wide-eyed.

Isn't this a case of the guilty party accusing the innocent first?

She laughed in exasperation, then sat down in front of him and patiently asked, "Then what are you doing locking yourself in the study? Why won't you let me in?"

Chi Yan's eyes drooped slightly, and his brows and eyes showed a hint of dejection. He said softly, "I'm sulking."

He was unusually candid at this moment.

Shen Tangning's eyes flickered: "Who are you angry with?"

"Chi Jingyu." In the instant she was stunned, he leaned forward, raised his eyes and stared straight at her, his dark eyes revealing a hint of obscurity. "He's always pestering you, and I'm not happy about it."

His gaze was extremely aggressive, and she instinctively leaned back to create distance between them, turning her face away uncomfortably, her tone ambiguous: "He's a madman, why bother with him?"

Unexpectedly, her wrist was suddenly grabbed, and a burning sensation spread through her skin. In her shock, she was pulled in front of him. Chi Yan stared at her, his voice unusually hoarse, his hot breath spraying onto her neck: "A Ning, you are mine."

Before she could react, a slight stinging pain shot through her neck. Shen Tangning's eyes widened in shock, her cheeks flushed, and she pushed him away, saying, "Chi Yan! You... let go!"

He was biting her!

Although it didn't hurt much, the action was just... too embarrassing to talk about.

However, Chi Yan didn't take this force seriously at all. He made this move with a sense of venting his anger, but he didn't want to go too far, so it had a hint of intimacy.

After taking a bite, he raised his moist, dark eyes to look at her, his gaze utterly innocent: "I'm sorry, Aning, I was too impulsive just now."

"..."

The apology was so straightforward that Shen Tangning was filled with shame and anger. When she met his gaze, she could only swallow the questions that were on the tip of her tongue.

She took a deep breath and silently reminded herself:

He's drunk; we shouldn't argue with him.

"It doesn't matter."

As soon as he finished speaking, Chi Yan's eyes lit up, and he became rather presumptuous: "Then can we kiss?"

Shen Tangning was stunned: "What..."

Before the words could finish, Chi Yan's kiss landed, tinged with urgency.

She instinctively struggled, but he forcefully restrained her, so she simply gave up.

Her waist went weak, and Shen Tangning was so dizzy from the kiss that she barely regained a sliver of clarity. She raised her hand and punched his shoulder, saying, "This is the study..."

Chi Yan replied dismissively, "It's nothing, no one saw it."

Her ears were burning red, and her shimmering eyes scolded him, "Xueqing and Balang are still outside, Chi Yan, have you forgotten everything you've learned?"

He half-closed his eyes contentedly, without a hint of shame: "It seems so."

He grabbed her again and continued, displaying an insatiable demanding attitude.

Shen Tangning finally realized what was happening: "You weren't drunk at all!"

The room reeked of alcohol, but he wasn't covered in it at all.

Chi Yan chuckled softly: "If I had known you would be angry, I would have only taken two sips."

Shen Tangning: "..."
