Chapter 363 Am I a Dog? (1/2)

Shen Ci dismounted, cursing, and handed the reins to the waiter. He glanced at the people in front of the restaurant and said, "Are you out of your mind? What time is it to ask me to come out?"

His face was dark, clearly in a bad mood. It was one thing to see him all the time during the day, but he was still haunting him after he finished his shift at night. He wondered if he owed Chi Yan something in his past life!

Chi Yan stood there tall and straight, looking somewhat nonchalant: "Can't I ask you to have a drink?"

Shen Ci's expression immediately turned suspicious: "Drinking? Aren't you afraid my sister will get angry?"

Aside from necessary social engagements, every time I asked him to drink, he would make excuses.

Chi Yan's expression darkened as her sore spot was touched: "She doesn't care about me at all."

"Tsk." Shen Ci was incredibly perceptive. He immediately circled around him twice, leaned closer with a gossipy look in his eyes, and asked with a hint of schadenfreude, "Did you two have a fight?"

Chi Yan was annoyed. Seeing his irritating look, he casually hooked his elbow around the man's neck and pulled him inside, gritting his teeth fiercely: "Shut your mouth!"

"Let go of my hand... Chi Yan!"

The two arrived at the reserved private room, where a waiter waited attentively: "What would you two gentlemen like to order?"

Shen Ci found the conversation rather dull: "What's the point of drinking with just two people?"

Chi Yan sat languidly, resting his chin on his hand: "Chu Mingyu is on his way." He glanced at the waiter and pondered for a moment, "Three jars of Spring Intoxication, and another jar of Daughter's Red."

Shen Ci composed herself, enthusiastically ordered a few snacks to go with the drinks, then looked at him hesitantly: "If you drink so much, won't my sister kick you out tonight?"

Chi Yan wasn't bothered by being scolded; he was afraid his sister would take her anger out on him!

Chi Yan gave him a forced smile and said, "Can you shut up?"

Although he knew that Shen Ci was tactless and had a sharp tongue, he still felt extremely tormented by the situation today.

It seems the situation is quite serious?

A thoughtful look flashed in Shen Ci's eyes, and he shrugged without saying a word.

A short while later, Chu Mingyu arrived, carrying two bags of pastries. He smiled rather embarrassedly and said, "I was thinking of having a drink, so I thought I'd eat something first."

Shen Ci didn't stand on ceremony at all, taking the pastries from his hands and wolfing them down: "So virtuous, whoever marries you is truly blessed!"

Chu Mingyu's ears turned slightly red, and he looked at Chi Yan with a puzzled expression: "Did you suddenly call us out for drinks because you're in a bad mood?"

Chi Yan twitched his lips, picked up the wine jar and poured himself a bowl: "Let's not talk about that, let's drink first."

After a few rounds of drinks, as the atmosphere heated up, he couldn't hold back any longer. Holding the wine jar, he said with a mournful expression, "Tell me, does she not care about me at all?"

After hearing the general outline of the incident, the other two remained silent for a while.

Chu Mingyu looked troubled: "This... is hard to say, isn't it?"

After all, he had no experience in this area, so asking him to help analyze it was quite a challenge.

Shen Ci scoffed and began to take sides without any principles: "You're the one who brought this trouble upon yourself. It's only right that my sister doesn't give you a friendly look."

After drinking, a thin layer of red appeared at the corners of Chi Yan's eyes, and he looked depressed: "If she were really angry with me, I would be happy to see it happen, but not only is she not angry, she has also acted exceptionally magnanimous... What am I supposed to think?"
