The warm tea warmed Madam Pei's body a little. Holding the teacup, she nervously looked up at the person opposite her.

Shen Tangning watched her retreating figure and gently reminded her, "If you encounter any trouble, you can come to me."
Madam Pei's eyes welled up with tears, and she nodded hastily before leaving.
Shen Tangning's gaze held a deeper meaning. Of course, she knew that Madam Pei was still wary of her and unwilling to be honest, which was only natural.
However, she was quite certain that the other party would come looking for her again.
