As night fell and the lights came on, Wen Ning and Lu Shiyan finished their dinner and drove to the Plum Garden Villa.
Plum Garden Villa is located in the suburbs of the city, with a beautiful environment and fresh air. Here, shaded by green trees and filled with the fragrance of flowers, it makes people feel relaxed and happy. When they walked into the villa, a faint floral fragrance hit them in the face, making them intoxicated.
The villa's decor was simple yet elegant, and the furniture was neatly arranged. A comfortable sofa sat in the living room, and some fruit sat on the coffee table. Lu Shiyan had said he'd be staying at Plum Garden tonight, so the housekeeper had prepared this in advance.
Lu Shiyan would come back here to rest once or twice a week. Today, he happened to have a meeting, so he chose to stay here and let someone visit.
"It's so beautiful here!" Wen Ning exclaimed. She looked around, her eyes filled with surprise. No wonder, this place was so expensive, so many people wanted to buy but couldn't. The few villas that remained were already fully booked.
"Yes, I like the environment here very much." Lu Shiyan replied with a smile. He gently held Wen Ning's hand, a hint of tenderness in his eyes.
"Young Master, you're back?" Aunt Tian had a warm smile on her face and brought two cups of tea to the table for the two of them.
She stood aside, looking at the woman who came to the villa for the first time. She was a little curious, wondering if this was the person the young master liked.
She had been taking care of the young master at the old house, and later, she was specially called by the young master to look after this villa. She treated the young master like her own child. Looking at Wen Ning, she felt quite fond of him. Involuntarily, her smile became much kinder.
"Auntie Tian, I have a meeting soon, so you are responsible for taking care of Miss Wen. She just arrived here and may not be used to it yet, so you can accompany her around for a while. If she needs anything or has any questions, she can come to me." The man warned seriously.
"Okay, no problem, sir. I will definitely take good care of Miss Wen." Aunt Tian nodded gently and replied.
"Then I'll go to the meeting first, you play here for a while." Lu Shiyan whispered in front of her.
"Well, go ahead." Wen Ning said to him.
The man nodded, then turned and left upstairs. His figure disappeared at the end of the corridor, leaving Aunt Tian and Miss Wen alone. Aunt Tian looked at Miss Wen with a smile, her eyes full of kindness and concern.
"Miss Wen, why don't we sit in the living room for a while? It's spacious and comfortable here, you can take a rest." Aunt Tian suggested.
Miss Wen nodded. She looked around and saw that the living room was decorated very warmly and elegantly, making people feel relaxed and happy.
"This is a special tea that has been released this year. It tastes very good. You can try it." Aunt Tian introduced with a smile.
Miss Wen took the teacup and took a sip. She was amazed by the fragrance and rich taste of the tea.
"It tastes very good, thank you Aunt Tian." Miss Wen said gratefully.
Aunt Tian smiled and said you're welcome. She started chatting with Miss Wen, asking about her preferences and interests. The two of them chatted happily, and time flew by. Before they knew it, an hour had passed.
"Auntie Tian, I want to go out for a walk, is that okay?" Wen Ning felt a little bored. Why did Lu Shiyan hold such a long meeting? If she had known earlier, she would not have come. It would have been better for her to stay at home and lie down and rest.
Aunt Tian was stunned for a moment when she heard her words, but then nodded.
"Of course you can, but since you're new here, you might not be familiar with the surroundings, so I'll go with you," Aunt Tian said, standing up.
Miss Wen nodded sheepishly, then walked out of the house with Aunt Tian. They strolled along the path, admiring the scenery along the way. The night was a little dim, but the warm yellow streetlights were enough to illuminate the path beneath their feet. A gentle breeze caressed her face, and Wen Ning felt particularly relaxed just walking. She couldn't help but sigh, "What a wonderful place!"
"It's so beautiful here!" Wen Ning exclaimed.
"Yes, the young master likes the environment here very much, so he lives here occasionally." Aunt Tian explained with a smile.
"Does he often come here to live?" Wen Ning asked curiously.
"Ever since the young master bought this villa, he has been living here when he has time, and he will come here to stay on weekends." Aunt Tian said.
"It's obvious that he likes it here very much." Wen Ning said truthfully.
"Well, the young master likes the life here very much. He is usually very busy with work, so if he doesn't live here, he will go back to the old house."
As they walked, they came to a garden. The garden was filled with a variety of flowers and plants, vibrant with color and fragrant with aromas. Wen Ning was captivated by the beauty before her and couldn't help but walk into the garden to take a closer look. Although it was night, she could still tell that the flowers were in full bloom, clearly well-cared for.
"These flowers were planted by the young master himself. He loves gardening." Seeing that she liked them, Aunt Tian introduced them carefully.
"So beautiful! You said he planted these himself?" Wen Ning asked in disbelief. After all, he was such a busy man, and he actually had the time to plant flowers? It was almost unbelievable, especially since they were so beautiful. If he weren't a boss, he could be a gardener.
She gently stroked the petals, feeling their softness and delicacy. The light just poured down, shining on the flowers, making the whole garden look even more beautiful.
"Yes, the young master takes good care of this garden. Every plant and tree here is specially taken care of by the young master." Aunt Tian said with a smile.
Miss Wen nodded, and her curiosity about Lu Shiyan grew even stronger. She decided to learn more about him and see what else he was hiding from her.
"Auntie Tian, tell me, if I pick his flowers, will he beat me?" Wen Ning winked at her.
Auntie Tian looked at her like this and said with a smile: "Don't even think about picking a flower from the young master. Even if you want his whole garden, the young master will give it to you."
After all, how could he be stingy with a flower when the young master has brought someone home?
Wen Ning's smile widened, but she ultimately decided not to pick any. After all, they were in full bloom in the garden, and it would be a shame to have them suddenly plucked because of her arrival.
She looked for a while, felt bored, and walked back.
After returning to the living room, Aunt Tian had something to do, so she went downstairs first. Wen Ning was alone in the living room, playing with his mobile phone out of boredom.
While playing, she fell asleep. When Lu Shiyan came down from upstairs after the meeting, he saw her lying on the table, asleep.
He paused, then lowered his voice and slowly came down the stairs.
