Lu Zhenzhen was chatting with someone when she suddenly heard a voice. She turned around and saw that it was the second daughter of the Ye family. She had a decent smile on her face, but the smile was not very friendly and had a hint of alienation.
"Jingyun is here?" She turned her head very naturally and greeted her.
"Well, Sister Zhenzhen is back, why don't I come to see her?" Ye Jingyun said with a smile on her lips, and that smile looked very sincere, as if she really had a deep friendship with Lin Zhenzhen. Her voice was gentle and kind, just like talking to her closest sister, which made people feel a sense of warmth and harmony. However, only Lu Zhenzhen knew that all this was just a superficial phenomenon, and her smile was somewhat flattering. She used to think that she was inexplicably flattering her, as if begging for something. Later, she realized that she didn't like herself at all, but just liked her brother. Sure enough, after her sister broke off the engagement with her brother, she immediately recommended herself. When she knew it, she didn't find it strange at all. Instead, she felt that this was her.
"Jingyun is really thoughtful." Lu Zhenzhen said with a smile.
"Sister Zhenzhen, I haven't seen you for a long time. You look even prettier." Ye Jingyun pulled Lu Zhenzhen aside to talk, deliberately ignoring Wen Ning. Wen Ning didn't get angry, just stood aside. She had seen all sorts of Ye Jingyun's tricks before her. Wasn't she just trying to appear to her that she and Lu Zhenzhen knew each other and were on good terms? Was it really that important? Did she look like someone who cared? If Wen Ning couldn't see through this trick, it would be a waste of all the years she had been at odds with her.
Ye Jingyun didn't bother to exchange pleasantries with Wen Ning. She did it on purpose. She just wanted to embarrass her and leave her out in the cold.
Lu Zhenzhen noticed her actions and frowned slightly. She felt that Ye Jingyun's behavior was a bit excessive. She naturally pulled Wen Ning aside to introduce him to her, "Jingyun, come here, let me introduce you, this is..."
"Wen Ning, I know." Ye Jingyun interrupted her coldly before she could say anything. Didn't she know who was standing opposite her?
"Do you know each other?" Lu Zhenzhen was a little curious. Logically, these two people should... no, they might know each other, but why did they seem a little off? She just watched quietly, somewhat bewildered.
"I know her." Wen Ning looked at Ye Jingyun with a half-smile. Her answer was a little unexpected to Lu Zhenzhen. She had thought she would say she didn't know him. She preferred the kind who would get revenge on the spot.
"More than just knowing her, she used to be famous in school?" Ye Jingyun said sarcastically, "She often bullies others." As soon as she said this, the people around her looked at Wen Ning in whispers.
Lu Zhenzhen frowned, not understanding why Ye Jingyun was so tactless and had to say such things in this situation. Wasn't this deliberately embarrassing? Anyway, she didn't believe Wen Ning could do such a thing. She looked at Wen Ning, wondering if she should help him.
"Hehe, Ye Jingyun, you can eat whatever you want, but you can't say whatever you want. Everyone knows exactly what happened at that time. It was clearly them bullying others. This is obvious to all. You are distorting the truth and talking nonsense. Aren't you slapping the school directors in the face? Do you think they are corrupt and taking advantage of their power? If you have evidence, you can submit it directly instead of talking nonsense here." Wen Ning explained calmly.
Ye Jingyun was somewhat powerless to refute what she said, because it was indeed as she said, but she didn't want to make it easy for her at all, so she continued: "You know what the situation is."
"Oh, I can sue you for defamation, Miss Ye. If you're not absolutely sure, it's best not to say something that will leave you feeling guilty. Otherwise, you'll die a miserable death. As a person, you should have some self-awareness." Wen Ning sneered. She had never seen her like this before. She was so easily defeated and so relentless. She was truly impressed. But she wasn't so easily fooled. Don't push her too far. If you do, she'll disregard her dignity as the Second Young Lady of the Ye Family and confront her in public. Don't let her cry on you then.
Ye Jingyun was so angry with her that she didn't know what to say. People around her were looking at her and pointing at her. She felt a little embarrassed and didn't know how to react for a moment.
Seeing that the two were getting more and more upset, Lu Zhenzhen knew that if they continued like this, the meeting would probably be ruined, so she stepped in to ease the situation and said, "Jingyun, this is my Ningning's first time here, and I need to introduce her to some people. I'll excuse myself first, please feel free to do as you please." Then, without waiting for Ye Jingyun to reply, she pulled Wen Ning to another place and continued to introduce her to other people.

Lu Zhenzhen smiled and looked at her, "What's so strange about you?"
"Did I just make your man speechless?" Wen Ning continued to ask curiously. After all, she heard Ye Jingyun calling her very affectionately. If she didn't dare to be angry with her just because she was Lu Shiyan's girlfriend, she would feel a little guilty.
Lu Zhenzhen was amused by her expression and said in a natural tone, "What are you thinking? She is her, I am me, there is no conflict. What's more, what she just said was indeed a bit excessive. I was worried that you would be angry with me because of her."
"I wouldn't," Wen Ning replied immediately.
"That's good that you don't know them. Come on, I'll take you to meet some other people. You're probably too lazy to socialize, so you don't know many people. Now that I have the chance, I'll take you to meet some." After Lu Zhenzhen finished speaking, she pulled her in front of another person and introduced her to him.
