Five years later.
"Hey, mom's cell phone is ringing?" One of the girls said in a baby voice to her brother next to her.
"It seems so. Let's see who it is." Brother Kang Kang took his sister's hand, climbed onto the swing, and then struggled to get the mobile phone left by their mother.
Just now they were playing on the swing in the yard with their mother. Their mother went to the bathroom and asked them to stay there and have fun and not move around. They had not been playing for a while when they heard the phone ringing.
The girl, An An, screamed for her mother at the top of her lungs, but no one showed up. The two kids looked at their phones, then clicked their fingers and someone suddenly appeared in the video.
"Sister-in-law... Hey, who are you?" Lu Shili saw that the video call was connected. While talking, he looked up and found two children on the other side. As soon as he saw them, he wanted to tease them. Aren't these his two nephews and nieces? Who else could it be?
"Hey, who are you?" An An said in a baby voice, looking at Lu Shili opposite her.
"Guess who I am." Lu Shili teased her.
"I don't guess, you are so handsome." An An looked at him with a crazy look on his face and praised him.
"Oh, really?" Lu Shili smiled happily when he heard his niece praising him, but his face froze the next second.
"But, compared to dad, you're still a little bit behind." An An said innocently.
"Nonsense, it's obvious that I'm more handsome than dad." Lu Shili said childishly.
"Hey, it's obviously my dad who is more handsome. Have you seen my dad?" An An asked belatedly.
"Yes, I have. I am very familiar with your father." Lu Shili said seriously.
"Really? Then why don't I remember you?" An An asked innocently.
"That's because you forgot about me."
"Oh, I remember you, you're my uncle." Kang Kang, who had been silent, suddenly spoke up. He looked at the note on his mother's phone and saw a person who looked a bit like him and his father. He finally remembered that this was the uncle his mother always told him about, the one who couldn't graduate from abroad.
"Hey, are you my uncle who couldn't graduate?" An An asked in confusion after hearing this.
Lu Shili was deeply hurt by her question. Was this how his unreliable brother promoted himself to his sons and daughters? Was his glorious image gone just like that? How would he earn their admiration when he returned?
"Nonsense, why can't I graduate? Your uncle is so awesome." Lu Shili lied.
"No, Dad said you wouldn't be able to graduate. He hasn't been back for several years." Kang Kang stabbed Lu Shili from the side, causing him to bleed.
"Don't listen to what your father says. Your uncle is studying abroad. He will be back in a few days. You will be able to see him soon."
"Hey, really? Uncle, can I see you soon? Brother, uncle said he will be back." An An said excitedly while pulling his brother.
"I heard it! Don't jump! You're about to lose your grip on the phone." Kang Kang held his sister back, preventing her from moving. Lu Shili looked at the shaking camera with a satisfied smile, then quickly shouted, "Don't jump! Don't jump! Uncle can't see your faces anymore."
"Oh." The two kids were a little tired of holding their phones, so they put them on the lawn, lay on the grass, looked at their uncle, and suddenly pointed at the screen and asked curiously: "Uncle, why does that person look so strange?"
"Which one?" Lu Shili was puzzled, then he looked back and found that it was his roommate who was in the camera.
Lu Shili told his roommate in German that he had arrived in the country. The roommate excitedly ran up to the camera and greeted him. Then, he said to Lu Shili excitedly, "They're so cute! Are they your nephews and nieces? Can you bring them over so I can play with them?" (They're so cute! Are they your nephews and nieces? Can you bring them over so I can play with them?)
He kept chattering about something, and Lu Shili impatiently sent his roommate away. His roommate kept staying in front of his camera and didn't want to leave. After he finally left, a black man came closer, making the two little kids scream. Lu Shili angrily drove everyone away.
"Wow, uncle, you look so pitiful." After everyone had left, An An said to him with a sympathetic look on her face.
"Uncle, please come back soon, so you won't be bullied by that black ghost and the blue-eyed monster anymore." Kang Kang said in a baby voice.
Lu Shili was puzzled at first, but then he was amused by what they said and laughed uncontrollably.
"You guys are so cute! Uncle wants to go back to you right away." Lu Shili was completely fascinated by them. If he had known they were so cute, he would have secretly run back home even if he was beaten to death. This place is a damn place that is not suitable for human beings. His brother even arranged for him to live in the school to help him adapt. He was so angry that he was being treated like a human being.
"Uncle, please come back soon and stop playing outside. Don't worry, when dad gets home from get off work, I'll plead with him to pick you up." An An said childishly.
"Uncle, don't worry. Dad is very good. He picks us up from school every day. As long as we ask him, he will definitely agree."
The two of them tried to comfort him, afraid that he would cry. It was too scary outside.
"Humph, your father is the bad one. It's because of him that I was exiled here."
"Nonsense, Dad is a very good boy." The two little devils retorted him.
