Chapter 335: True Heart for True Heart

From Diana's perspective, Lyle and the Tongue must have been relying on some kind of magic to communicate remotely, and now that she had cut off the connection, the Tongue would not be able to see anything that Diana didn't want the Tongue to see, including what she and Lyle said and did, and the layout of the gathering place.

And the necklace has more functions than that. It also has a hidden, subtle effect.

That is, the contractor will subconsciously greatly increase his trust in Diana, become more honest, and less guarded.

Although he didn't completely reveal his inner thoughts like a true contractor, when he talked to Diana,

People will subconsciously say what they think in their hearts, commonly known as speaking from the heart.

Of course, this also has a prerequisite, that is, the person is not aware of it, or there is great resistance in his heart, this subconscious contract will be interrupted instantly.

But even so, there is already a lot that can be done.

"Come with me." Carter took two steps forward and suddenly seemed to think of something, and asked casually, "By the way, what should I call you?"

"Lyle." Lyle answered without hesitation.

But inside Lyle's body, Bai Wei said nothing.

He could naturally feel the restriction that the necklace imposed on Lyle, but unfortunately this restriction was of no use to him because he was not an external force but lived in Lyle's body.

But Bai Wei did not say anything, nor did he indicate his presence to Lyle. He just watched the gathering point unfold before his eyes bit by bit.

The first thing you see is a huge pillar that seems to connect heaven and earth.

"Oh My God."

Lyle also saw the "pillar". Although the fog was much lighter than before, it had not completely dissipated, so he could not see the details of the pillar. But it was precisely because of this haziness that the pillar added a greater sense of oppression, as if the world would be destroyed when it fell.

"That's the obedience of the voice of heaven." Carter said lightly, "It has not been fully assembled yet, but you'd better not stare at it all the time, as it will make you look like an outsider."

Lyle immediately came to his senses and realized that this was not his territory.

In the light yellow mist, he could see many "shadows" working.

Most of them were human, but a few were not. They were huge and strong, like strange beasts that Lyle had never seen before. They also made low roars from time to time, which made Lyle tremble with fear.

"What are those?" Lyle couldn't help but ask.

"You don't want to know." Carter shook his head. "Come with me, Mr. Lyle."

Then he stood up again and walked towards the depths of the yellow fog.

Lyle hurried to catch up, but at the same time he was still looking around.

When Carter saw that most of Lyle's attention was on his surroundings, he spoke again, seemingly in a casual conversation.

"Mr. Lyle, you said before that you worked for Mr. Tongue for money?"

"That's just the superficial reason." Lyle, who had already fallen in love with Carter without realizing it, replied, "Of course, the more important reason is that I want to prove that I am right."

"Oh?" Carter did find something new, but he didn't show it. He asked calmly, "Who do you want to prove it to?"

"To my wife and children, to my parents, to everybody."

"That's why you need money and status?"

"Yes.

"So if, I mean if." Carter turned to look at Lyle, "what if we give these things to you?"

Lyle was slightly stunned: "What?"

"Money and status, we can give you more." Carter looked into Lyle's eyes, "You should be able to guess who my master is. What that person can give you, my master can give you, too. What do you think?"
