“How is this possible?” Mina said, “Teacher, are you——”
"Okay." Isaiah didn't want to explain any more and just turned and left. "I'm tired.
I'll leave the aftermath to you guys."
This sudden change completely confused everyone, but they couldn't really stop Isaiah, so they could only watch him leave. Then Mina and the Star Warlock chased after him, leaving Loki and Fenris at a loss.
"What does this mean?" Fenris asked Loki. "If it's not the Seventh-Tune Player and Edwin, then who could it be?"
"You ask me, how should I know?" As soon as Isaiah left, Rocky no longer had to pretend to be a good student. His brows immediately frowned, "What nonsense is this old guy talking about?"
They were chasing the tongue all the way here, but now Isaiah says he is not dealing with the tongue?
Who else could it be if not the tongue? Who else could fight Isaiah to this extent?
He also said that the other party came for the black marketeers and he took action to protect them. What a strange reason.
What about the black marketeers? Why is there nothing left?
What exactly did you protect?
And Rocky knew for sure that Isaiah was lying. After all, when Isaiah was fighting, he could feel the undisguised power of Visas.
But he didn't understand why Isaiah lied.
Um?
Rocky thought of something, narrowed his eyes slightly, and murmured: "Old man, you really want to eat three pieces of corpses for yourself."
"Teacher, teacher!" Mina quickly caught up with Isaiah, "Please wait for me."
Isaiah stopped walking but didn't look back. Instead, he turned his back to Mina and asked, "What is it?"
Mina's heart suddenly skipped a beat.
She could feel Isaiah's undisguised coldness towards her.
But—why? Did she do something wrong?
Mina suppressed her anxiety and palpitations and asked carefully, "What happened tonight?"
"Are you asking me?"
"The student is asking the teacher."
"Oh, I thought you knew."
"I don't know." Mina said timidly, "I have been doing everything you asked me to do. I don't know what I did wrong. Please explain it to me."
"Do as I ask you to do." Isaiah said softly, "I see."
".-·teacher?"
Isaiah waved his hand and dismissed the rest of the Star Legacy Sorcery, leaving only himself and Mina.
Then, he slowly spoke: "Just tell me, Mina, what kind of bargaining chips did that tongue offer you to make my dearest student betray me?"
Mina's eyes widened instantly, and her voice began to tremble: "Teacher - how could I betray you?"
"If you haven't betrayed me, then why did you come here tonight?" Isaiah finally turned around.
He stared at Mina with his cold eyes, "You didn't remember the time wrong, did you?"
