Chapter 56 Visas! Speak up!

Chapter 56 Visas! Speak up!

"Matthews, are you ready? We have gained a lot today."

When Uru walked out of the Night Crow's room, he ran into two other Night Crows. They were all wearing masks and couldn't see each other's faces. One of the Night Crows, who looked like the leader, greeted Uru directly, as if he had been waiting for him here for a long time... Of course, to be more precise, he was waiting for the guy who was no longer alive.

This was the fourth "colleague" Ulu had killed so far, and it was also the most skillful and ruthless one.

And all this was naturally under Bai Wei's command. Although Uru wanted to know why Bai Wei knew so much about the most mysterious Night Crow Corps in the Rhine Cult, not only knowing their location, but also the name of one of them, and even knowing when to enter, when to push the door, when to kill, and what to do afterwards.

Everything was within his calculation.

If it were in the past, this would make Ulu feel fear and dread, but today, at this moment, he didn't want to think too much about it.

There was only one thing he wanted to know.

Just one thing.

"You're quite silent today." The leading Night Crow looked at Ulu in surprise, but nodded immediately. "But this is also good. We should be less noisy on this trip. Let's get ready and set off."

Uru and the remaining Night Crow nodded at the same time, and then followed the leading Night Crow out of the dormitory.

Night Raven Knight.

The most special existence in the Rhine Church. Everyone knows it, but no one wants to meet it.

Because the dark crow mask symbolizes death.

The three crows walked silently through the alley full of water. The heavy leather boots should have made a dull sound, but it became crisp because of stepping on the water.

But the passers-by who saw them did not stop fearing them because of the sound. They all stepped aside, and those with children held them in their arms, fearing that they would bump into them if they walked around. So they walked smoothly through the streets and alleys, and soon came to a small church, where a priest was waiting for them in advance.

"Good morning," the priest greeted them. "What terrible weather."

"If you know the weather is bad, don't waste time." The leading Night Crow made a hoarse voice, which looked even weirder after it penetrated the heavy mask. "How many are there?"

"I have five of them here." The priest sighed softly. It was unclear whether he felt sorry for the five deaths or because he felt troubled by the increased workload. Ulu was more inclined to the latter. "Come with me. Let's finish it as soon as possible. Don't let those noisy guys delay our time."

The three night crows followed the priest and walked for about ten minutes before arriving at a house.

The priest pushed the door open and Uru, who was following him, saw a coffin.

A middle-aged woman lay in the coffin, her body covered with white flowers, but not many, just like the relatives in the house at this moment.

"Master Father, you are here at last."

"We've been waiting for you for a long time!"

"Do you still remember me? You treated me last time and the medicine you prescribed was very effective!"

The relatives immediately gathered around and chattered with the priest.

It didn't feel like a funeral at all.

The priest had to raise his hand to stop these "enthusiastic" relatives: "Okay, okay, let's start early, and we can talk about anything later."

"Of course, of course. Business is more important. Business is more important."

Ulu looked at the scene in front of him coldly through the mask.

To be honest, he was not unfamiliar with such scenes, because he was also a priest, and he was responsible for celebrating the Mass for the dead in Petain. From being a small follower beside Luigi at the beginning to being independent later, he had seen a lot of things, but he didn't expect... The same thing happened in Somme.

There is no difference between the town of Pétain and the priests and family members.

He shook his head, throwing these thoughts out of his mind, and then, under the instructions of the leading Night Crow, the three of them walked towards the coffin.

Now Ulu didn't know what to do, and Bai Wei didn't tell him either. He just told him to follow the other night crows.

So they stood beside the coffin.

Then Ulu discovered that there was a small figure behind the coffin.

It was a boy. He was leaning against the coffin with his head buried in his arms. His shoulders were shaking, and he was obviously crying.

At this moment, Ulu was able to guess the relationship between the boy and the woman in the coffin.

Even though I have seen too many things like this, at this moment, an indescribable sadness still welled up in me.

He subconsciously wanted to walk forward and pull the boy up, but the footsteps behind him calmed him down and he stood still.

The priest came in. He obviously knew the little boy's existence. His face was full of pity: "Oh, poor child, don't be sad, we will let your mother rest in peace."

As he said this, he carried the boy out.

Then came the Mass ceremony.

The three Night Crows just stood silently around the coffin, doing nothing, like the priest's bodyguards.

This made Ulu a little confused, but he didn't show it.

Soon, the mass ceremony ended. The priest picked up the boy again, walked out of the room where the coffin was placed, and came to the relatives: "Ms. Feiss's soul has returned to the Rhine. Her husband unfortunately passed away three years ago. So I must ask, is there any relative willing to raise this poor child?"

The relatives who came to attend the funeral looked at each other, but no one was willing to stand up.

Uru stared at the scene in front of him in a daze, and suddenly heard the leader's voice: "Matthews, what are you standing there for? I want to recycle it."

He was startled for a moment, and then saw the leader of the Night Crows took out a small black box and walked towards the head of the corpse, while another Night Crow stood at the end of the coffin, as if blocking the leader's view.

So he followed suit and stood on the other side of the end of the coffin, but he stood sideways so he could see the leader's movements with his peripheral vision.

Then, he saw the leader put the box next to the corpse's ear. After muttering a few words, a black insect crawled out of the ear and slid smoothly into the box.

Uru's eyes widened.

At the same time, the priest also took new actions.

"No one is willing to raise him? What a pity." The priest sighed softly, "In this case, this child can only return to the arms of our Lord. Don't worry, child, be strong, you will become a person like me."

Ulu turned his head suddenly and saw the priest gently supporting the boy's head. The scene... was exactly the same as it was twenty years ago.

At this moment, Ulu seemed to realize something. He looked at the insects being recovered again, then looked at the priest and the little boy, and his body couldn't help but tremble.

"Visas!" Uru asked in his heart, "Did my mother die because of this?"

"Is that why they want to kill my mother?!"

"Visas!"

He yelled at the top of his lungs in his mind.

"Speak, Visas!"

"Tell me, is this why my mother died?!"

"Visas!"

But no matter how Ulu shouted, Bai Wei just remained silent.

Like a dead person in a coffin.

Editor’s notice: It will be on the shelves at 0:00 on the 1st.

I will update three times today to finish this part of the story. I have already written the rest of the story, but I am not satisfied with it yet, so I am revising it.
