Chapter 175: The Explosion of Fire! That is the Blood of the Revolutionaries!

The film "Star Wars: Rogue One" follows the events of "Star Wars: A New Hope." The ending of the former seamlessly connects to the beginning of the latter. The story centers on a group of heroes who unite under the banner of the Rebel Alliance to steal confidential documents related to the Empire's secretive and destructive weapon, the Death Star.

In this story, although the heroes and patriots are all ordinary people, they are willing to sacrifice their precious lives so that the rebel alliance can obtain effective intelligence and the revolutionary cause can ultimately achieve victory.

This was undoubtedly a tragic scene for Chang Wei. System tasks aside, Chang Wei wouldn't sit idly by and watch these heroes sacrifice themselves. Especially among this group, there was Chirrut Ingwei, played by Donnie Yen, whom Chang Wei really liked.

Chirrut Ingwe is a Weir Guardian who believes in the light side of the Force. Although he is blind, he relies on his spirit and perseverance to overcome his blindness and become a powerful warrior.

Chirrut Ingwe always likes to talk about the Force, saying some mysterious but philosophical words. But he himself is not a Jedi, and he does not have the Force.

He is just an ordinary person who believes in and worships the Force. But even such a person teaches everyone to feel and believe in the Force, and use the Force to inspire others, thus generating a sense of spiritual responsibility.

It can be said that in "Rogue One", if Chirrut Imwe had not existed, this group of people would have succumbed to the huge difficulties long ago, and the subsequent selfless collaboration would have been even more impossible.

[Though there is darkness in your eyes, there is light in your heart?]

How could Chang Wei not admire such a person?

Another key figure among this group was Galen Erso. Galen Erso was a brilliant physicist whose research focused on crystallography and energy concentration. The Death Star's superlaser was developed based on his theories. His inventiveness and ingenuity earned him widespread fame, a fact the Empire exploited by imprisoning him and forcing him to secretly build the Death Star for them.

However, he did not give in, but secretly left a fatal weakness in the Death Star's design. As long as the Rebel Alliance got this information, they could easily destroy the Death Star. This is the origin of the plot of the movie "Rogue One"!

But...now none of this matters anymore. With the advantage of foresight, Chang Wei ordered the "Griffin" and the Ghost Agent to rescue Galen Erso together.

In this way, the famous Death Star in the Star Wars world might have been stillborn and never completed.

Chang Wei couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. After another discussion with everyone, he arranged for medical staff to use Terran technology to treat Qilu Yingwei's eyes.

Right now, everything is moving in a good direction. Chang Wei plans to start the third stage of the revolution against the empire after accumulating and preparing forces and discussing the counterattack plan with the leaders of the major rebel forces. This is the period of our strategic counterattack and the enemy's strategic retreat.

By then, the enemy will definitely concentrate its superior forces to focus on defense, and it may even happen that the entire star region will be transformed into a war fortress.

Haha, that would be hilarious. Once a positional battle is established, the initiative is completely in our hands. The Rebel Alliance can decide when to attack and when to fight. If the Imperial Army doesn't want to be defeated by its own forces, it can only deploy heavy troops.

Then, Chang Wei could deploy the hidden planetary mobile fortress "Star of Hope" and crush it all the way. Combined with the two-dimensional whale swallowing membrane released by the "Traveling Star" strategic cloud sea ship, it could cause the greatest effective damage to the enemy without warning, thus striving to completely annihilate the empire's living forces!

This strategy had already been discussed before the Light Chaser fleet entered the Star Wars world.

The reason the Star of Hope hadn't been exposed was precisely for this moment! Because the Star of Hope's energy was limited, and its size was incredibly large, a single jump would consume a third of its energy. By then, it would be dead before the battle even began. Even if used for defense, it could only defend a small area. Facing a large number of enemy troops, scattered and roaming, or even circumventing them, the Star of Hope would be helpless. It was even more impossible for it to accompany the army in guerrilla warfare!

Therefore, the best use of "Star of Hope" is to fight sieges and positional battles! Because the target is clear, the enemy will not run around, and you only need to attack the city and seize the territory with the kingly posture. With mutual firepower, who is afraid of who?

Why was it so important to strive for the complete annihilation of the Empire's vital forces? The reason is that in the canonical history of the Star Wars universe, although the Rebel Alliance ultimately defeated the Galactic Empire and Palpatine and liberated Coruscant, they were not completely annihilated, resulting in a large number of defeated troops. This left these Imperial remnants with a significant hidden danger during their war with the newly established Galactic Republic!

This huge hidden danger mainly comes from two aspects: one is the remnant of the orthodox empire led by Marshal Sauron, and the other is the countless warlords who have split away and become independent.

In this environment of internal and external troubles, how could the new Galactic Republic develop? How could it be peaceful? So they were instantly dragged into a long-term melee.

Coupled with the lack of a strong centralized authority to maintain internal order, the countless races were unable to effectively unite, and they were subsequently defeated repeatedly in battles with the New Empire. Ultimately, people's hearts were broken, and the rebuilt New Republic, which had been rebuilt with great difficulty, gradually fell apart!
