Chapter 308 The mission is about to begin!!

Jian Dan and Zhong Kai explained the details of the rescue mission. They looked at each other and both felt that the mission was difficult.

The main problem is that the combat power of the "Three-Body" universe is simply too high, and it's filled with a bunch of idiots who adhere to the "Dark Forest Law." Not only do they possess a variety of unconventional attack methods and technology that surpasses human imagination, but they also possess the Zeroer, who can restart the universe and has survived for who knows how many years. The thought of it makes your scalp tingle!

You know, "The Three-Body Problem" can be regarded as the ceiling of science fiction!

Lizardman Zuckerberg once commented that "The Three-Body Problem" was so shocking that it did not seem like a novel written by humans.

Now it seems that it is indeed the case.

Because this is a real world, but due to the phenomenon of brain entanglement, Liu Cixin had an "inspiration burst", and thus wrote its story in the form of a novel, which caused a huge response!

There are three novels in this series: "Past Events on Earth", "Dark Forest" and "Death's End".

The time span begins at 4:00 PM on May 3, 1453 AD, when the four-dimensional fragments contacted Earth, ushering in the brief "Magic Age." It ends in the year 2000 AD, when Cheng Xin and Guan Yifan enter Microcosm 647. It then concludes with the Zero-Returner's broadcast of the cosmic transmembrane, demanding that all civilizations and individuals return matter from the macrocosm, triggering the imminent cosmic reboot.

The entire story is magnificent and grand, epic and legendary! It holds endless imagination and untold mysteries. Wars between cosmic civilizations are no longer the European and American sci-fi equivalent of massive warships and artillery battles, coupled with ground infantry assaults and even hand-to-hand combat. Instead, each of the universe's major civilizations, while carefully concealing their identities, wields the laws of the universe as their own weapons.

The destructive power they cause is not as simple as 1+1=2! Some weapons can even cause permanent damage to the universe!

Just the attack methods mentioned in the novel that are beyond human civilization include: water droplet impact, light particle strike, dimensionality reduction attack, etc.

You have no idea who the enemy is. You don't know when or how they launched their attack. Perhaps it was decades, perhaps centuries ago, launched without your knowledge. And you remain completely oblivious until the moment of devastation.

This! It's the Black Forest Strike!

There's no way around it; this is the law of the Dark Forest. Civilizations are infinite, but the resources of the universe are finite. The chains of suspicion constrain all civilizations in the universe to not easily test each other's goodwill. Therefore, cooperation and exchange become impossible. The ultimate outcome is: either you die or I die.

Liu Cixin's "The Three-Body Problem" describes an extremely realistic and dark cosmic social form.

If you don't destroy the other party, the other party will destroy you one day!

In this cruel and dark reality, once your home world's coordinates are exposed, you'll be met with nothing but devastating blows! There's virtually no time to react or negotiate! If you can withstand it, you live; if you can't, you die! Even if you manage to hold on this time, how many more times can you?

As the saying goes, heroes are made of circumstances! Even though they are all Level 4 civilizations, other sci-fi cosmic civilizations would be no match for them in the "Three-Body" universe! If you're not careful, they'll be wiped out in a matter of minutes! They're like flowers in a greenhouse; how can they compare to the tenacity of those who have survived through layers of screening and struggle in the wild?

Therefore, in the universe of "The Three-Body Problem", you either have to possess extremely strong strength, or you have extremely good luck and caution. Otherwise, you won't even survive to the "finale"!

From this, we can see how dangerous the "Three-Body" universe is.

Fortunately, the Light Chasers' current strength was quite good. Once they reached the Three-Body Universe, as long as they avoided provoking the Nullifiers, they would have no problem defending themselves. Combined with the technological achievements acquired through the system, the assistance of scientists aboard Level 6 civilization warships, and intelligent life, nearly all of the fleet's warships had reached the level of a Level 5.8 civilization.

Furthermore, the Light Chaser possesses a unique advantage: the technology of superluminal teleportation and hyperspace warping!

In the "Three-Body" universe, constant war and destruction of the cosmic environment have led to a continuous degradation of the speed of light, a continuous drop in dimensions, and even the many laws of the universe have lost their former splendor. Ultimately, the major civilizations in the universe have discovered that they can no longer break through the shackles of technology and develop faster means of travel. Lightspeed spacecraft has become their limit!

It's like the oceans being dried up into lakes, the lakes being dried up into ponds, and the ponds being dried up into puddles. And the "fish" inside, no matter how hard they try, will be in vain because they no longer have the innate conditions to develop that kind of technology!

The "fish" that once populated the oceans, lakes, and ponds either perished in war, were unable to adapt to the changing environment, and perished as well, or actively adapted, becoming mere surviving "fish" before gradually disappearing into the river of time. Furthermore, due to the "Dark Forest Law," there was no technological exchange or preservation. Thus, through generations, superluminal jumps and warping technologies have become a myth and legend in the "Three-Body" universe!

Chang Wei relaxed a bit at this thought. He felt that the difficulty of this rescue mission was actually quite acceptable. As long as he didn't try to provoke the Zeros, and with a good understanding of the plot and a reasonable plan, he should be able to handle it easily.
