Chapter 334: Earth: I am the Swarm!

What? The Warmaster was captured?

Just when Master Naveli was frustrated and ready to mobilize all forces to rescue Chang Wei, Chang Wei was unexpectedly sent back intact by the observer.

"Warmaster! Are you okay? Did the Observer hurt you?" Master Naviri quickly came to Chang Wei and said with concern.

However, the small living room was already surrounded by a group of fully armed cats, dogs and Furies.

They were delighted at the Warmaster's safe return, but at the same time they were full of hostility and vigilance towards the observer.

Tang Qi also wanted to go forward, but was blocked by a sturdy orange cat.

I petted the orange cat out of curiosity, only to be greeted by it slowly turning its head back, looking down at me with a look of disdain, as if I were a "lower animal." Its drooping whiskers and shaggy fur gave it a lazy air of unwavering pride. It was as if it were saying, "You lowly human! Even if you rub my fur all off today, I, this orange cat, won't let you go."

[Wow! It's so chubby and feels so good to the touch, it's really a cat!] Tang Qi kept poking the orange cat with her fingers, and she almost showed her obscene expression of rolling her eyes at the cat.

Chang Wei looked at the cats and dogs Furui who suddenly appeared in his home, and instantly understood a lot. Although he didn't know their names yet, Chang Wei still thanked them.

"Thank you for all the hard work you've done for so long. Don't worry, I'm fine. The Observer will be leaving soon. He's not an enemy."

"What? Leave?" The many cats, dogs and Fury looked at each other, obviously a little confused by this sudden message.

However, the observer nearby sent a positive mental communication: "Indeed! My research project has concluded. Although it's a pity, I'm really leaving this time."

With the personal accounts of the Warmaster and the Observer, the cats, dogs, and Fury lowered their hostility slightly, but they still held their weapons tightly in their hands, as if ready to fight at any time.

Chang Wei tilted his head to look at the observer and asked, "After you leave, will you come back?"

The observer replied uncertainly, "I don't know. I doubt they'll ever come back. Once the cosmic barrier is broken, our entire civilization will likely collectively venture out to explore beyond the universe. The constant pursuit of new things and truths is the highest goal of our species!"

Chang Wei nodded. He had always thought Observers were quite easy to talk to. He didn't know if it was due to individual factors, or perhaps because civilization was inherently rare and precious in this universe, which led to the members of the Seeker civilization having extremely high moral standards and relatively friendly thoughts.

In this case, it is better to remind them of some things.

"Here's a piece of advice for you: if you see anything moving or glowing outside of space, don't approach it out of curiosity or rashly make contact. It's very likely an unknown, aggressive species. Before reaching other giant bubbles, any danger is possible, including the mysterious and unpredictable environment around you."

"The cosmic barrier is actually like the cell membrane of an organism. Although it prevents the civilization inside from escaping, it also blocks malice and invasion from the outside. I hope you can take my words seriously!"

The Observer glanced at Chang Wei, then replied seriously, "I've remembered this. I'll try to submit this to the 'Main Core' on the Decision-Making Monument. So...goodbye."

"Well, bye."

With a whoosh, the observer vanished from the scene. This matter was finally settled.

In the following weeks, life seemed to return to normal.

The cats and dogs, Furui, and the others didn't try to persuade Chang Wei to return to lead them. Chang Wei, in turn, accepted the cats and dogs' existence and allowed them to remain hidden by his side. Tang Qi was the happiest person. After her repeated assurances and earnest pleas, Chang Wei didn't cruelly order Master Navelli to erase her memory.

After all, he had lived alone for so long, and his room always felt a little lacking in people. Now, with a female classmate he could chat with, his life was filled with color again. At least... with her around, every day felt less monotonous.

In addition to spending hours on the phone and chatting on WeChat at night, Tang Qi would often come to Chang Wei to deepen their relationship, and would pet the cats and dogs at his house, as if she was going to be his future wife.

What woman wouldn't be moved by such a special man? Tang Qi was no exception, especially since she was 28 years old and had long passed her prime. So, she began to think about getting married.

In this way, the relationship between the two began to improve, and the only thing left before they could admit their relationship and have sex was a suitable romantic holiday and a sweet and warm atmosphere for confession.

The development to the lover stage seems to be a foregone conclusion. Although there are still many cats and dogs Fu Rui who dislike Tang Qi, they have gradually begun to accept this result because of the existence of Zhan Shuai.

When no one was around, Lai Fu would visit some of his close friends, but most of the time they would hide in Chang Wei's house to slack off. To protect Chang Wei and Tang Qi's privacy, they had removed all surveillance cameras in the house.

So, whenever Chang Wei got home from work, he would often see a group of cat and dog agents visiting his home, either playing cards, sleeping in, or doing devilish exercise.

Chang Wei once encountered a chubby orange dog hanging from a living room beam by its tail, repeatedly doing pull-ups. To the uninitiated, you'd think he was exercising his penis. That scene... well, even the dog with eight-pack abs nearby shook its head.
