When Chang Wei stepped onto the cliff and passed through the optical camouflage barrier, his vision suddenly opened up. Clean and tidy stone steps, dignified and sacred white jade buildings, it was like entering another completely new world.
The cemetery's intelligent system detected the arrival of worshippers and immediately and slowly illuminated the soft lights, lit the soothing sandalwood, and played calming music. It felt like the ending of the movie "Star Wars 9," when the story of the Skywalker family finally came to a complete conclusion. Where it began... it ended...
With mixed feelings, Chang Wei walked towards the most empty staircase in the middle. There, a tombstone stood – Zhong Kai's.
Chang Wei came to the tombstone, looked at the name on it, and after a long time he sighed: "Brother, I came to see you. Perhaps this is the last time I will see you."
Chang Wei half-knelt in front of the tombstone and continued with a guilty voice, "I'm sorry, but I may not be able to fulfill my promise to you. Because, in an ordinary life, we can neither change the past nor save the future."
