July 8, moderate rain.
It's that annoying rain again. Rainy days make it difficult to observe changes in the outside world. It's not a pleasant feeling to have zombies wandering around nearby.
Last time, the zombies crawled all the way out of the window before I noticed them. It was so scary.
It has been more than half a month since I last rescued the armed team and the doctor. I break out in a cold sweat when I think about it now.
They were too reckless to break into the city without fully understanding the situation.
Fortunately, I helped them in time and escaped the zombies' pursuit, but unfortunately casualties were inevitable.
Here, getting hurt means becoming a zombie and being powerless.
Only four people from the armed team survived, including the doctor.
They said they were sent by higher-ups to investigate the source of the zombies, and that the source of the zombie virus was in this city.
They also said that this city was the first to see zombies appear, and the first to mutate and become intelligent.
They wanted me to help them investigate the source of the zombies. Originally I didn't want to go because it was too dangerous.
It’s difficult to protect yourself in the end times, so why bother getting involved in this mess?
It would be better to just stay in the shelter and write novels.
But the doctor said that the original source of the zombies might be Ping An Hospital, the hospital where I stayed for more than half a month due to a cold and accidentally escaped.
Things are getting complicated and I want to go back and take a look.
I will be leaving tomorrow, so I need to prepare all night tonight. I don’t have time to write the novel, so I’ll take a day off.
