written request for leave

On August 12, the weather outside was unknown.

The doctor and I had been hiding in the morgue for half a month, and we lived in fear every day.

During this time, we went to the upper floor of the hospital and stole some food and water.

The morgue is on the underground floor. After exploration by the doctor and I, we found out that the hospital also has a second underground floor.

There is a password door at the entrance to the second underground floor, and only the dean should know the password.

The good news is that the doctor applied some medicine that made the dean's fingerprint appear on the password door, and confirmed that the password was four digits: 4, 6, 8, and 9.

During the past half month, the doctor and I have been trying the password, and we hid in the morgue when the dean came.

The dean also came to the morgue, and from the sound it seemed that the body was being put on a cart and pushed to an unknown place.

Is it the second basement floor? Finally, the password was tried out by the two of us.

The second underground floor is a laboratory, with three rows of nutrient solution tanks. The tanks contain human corpses, animal corpses, and some indistinguishable pieces of wriggling flesh.

The doctor said that it was very likely that the doctors were conducting experiments on the zombie virus here, but this was not enough, there should be an experimental report.

The doctor and I worked separately. The doctor looked for the lab report in the computer, and I looked in the cardboard box.

There was a very strange report in the box. My headshot was printed on the cover of the report. The name of the report was "Zombie Virus Experiment Report No. 78". The experimental subject was... me?! Experimental results: The experimental subject showed life characteristics and was contagious. Is he missing now?

I showed the doctor the lab report and he was silent for a long time. Finally, we both decided to escape from the hospital tonight.

Time is running out to escape from the hospital, so I'll take a day off.
