Chapter 104 Qinghe Tower

Jiangling City, Qingyue Tower.

Inside the private room, flames appeared between Qin Luo's fingers. With a flick of his finger, the corpses of the fox demon and the spider spirit were burned to ashes.

Chu Peiran looked at Guichen and said, "Master Guichen, you are in charge of dealing with the other monsters in the building."

Gui Chen nodded slightly. He looked at the cat-eared girl kneeling obediently on the ground and said softly, "Female benefactor, please ask the other monsters in the building to gather downstairs."

"Yes, sir!"

Xiao Tao dared not slack off in the slightest. When she left the private room, she was followed by a fox and a dog.

Qin Luo looked at Chu Peiran, "Brother Chu, do you know about the Prince of Jiangling City?"

Chu Peiran nodded and poured wine into his glass. "Prince Zhu Yang of Jiangling is not a direct descendant of the royal family and has no real power. After we finish drinking, we'll go and settle accounts with him."

That's exactly what I was thinking!

Qin Luo and Chu Peiran raised their wine glasses.

Gui Chen doesn't drink alcohol. He went downstairs and saw a row of monsters standing in front of him, of different heights and builds. The fox and the black dog stood in the middle, and they were of higher status.

The buck-toothed girl with twin ponytails clasped her hands together in a gesture of respect, her legs trembling, and said weakly, "Master, I'm only responsible for serving tea and water, I haven't done anything wrong, can you let me leave?"

Gui Chen raised the golden bowl, "You don't need to explain, the golden bowl knows what you've done."

As soon as the words were spoken, golden Buddhist light shone on all the demons. The slender woman in green turned into a green snake, the buck-toothed girl sprouted two rabbit ears on her head, the beautiful twins turned into two mice, the cross-eyed girl turned into a chicken, and there were also demons who turned into a white horse and a frog.

Some monsters had their cultivation completely stripped away, some had only their cultivation partially reduced, and some were completely unaffected. Xiaotao's cat ears and tail were exposed entirely because her cultivation was insufficient, as was the buck-toothed girl's.

Gui Chen sternly reminded them, "I hope you will cultivate diligently in the future and stop harming innocent people."

The green snake nodded and slid out of the Moonlit Pavilion. The monster, which had been reduced to its original form, left Jiangling City under the cover of night. Staying in the city without any cultivation was tantamount to courting death.

Xiao Tao and the buck-toothed girl looked at each other. Without thinking, they took off running, but ended up crashing into the barrier set up by Qin Luo. "Ouch, ouch!"

Qin Luo came downstairs.

He walked up to the cat-eared girl.

Xiao Tao lay on the ground, and when she saw Qin Luo bending down and staring at her, she was so frightened that she dared not make a sound.

Qin Luo smiled and said, "Little monster, since you want a big house, this building is yours for the taking."

"ah?!"

Xiao Tao's eyes widened.

Chu Peiran raised an eyebrow. "Young lady, your opportunity has arrived. Hurry up and thank this Daoist master."

"Thank you, Master Dao!"

Xiao Tao got up and knelt down in front of Qin Luo to kowtow, something she never dared to dream of.

Qin Luo reached out, and a gentle breeze helped Xiao Tao stand up, as if to give her a chance to behave properly. "Little monster, you'll be using this building to do legitimate business from now on."

"Xiao Tao understands!"

Tears welled up in Xiao Tao's eyes.

The buck-toothed girl's eyes were filled with envy.

Qin Luo smiled slightly, "Xiao Tao, go and make a pot of hot tea for Master Guichen."

Chu Peiran patted Guichen on the shoulder, "Master Guichen, please have some tea first, let's go for a walk."

"Brother Chu, this humble monk will go with you."

Gui Chen knew they were going to the Prince's Mansion.

Chu Peiran looked at Qin Luo, who smiled and nodded, "Okay, let's go together, it'll be fun."

"Let's go!"

Chu Peiran walked ahead, carrying a long sword.

Qin Luo and Gui Chen followed behind at a leisurely pace. They soon arrived at the Prince's Mansion, which was heavily guarded, with many guards in soft armor outside the gate.

What are you people doing?

The burly guard stepped forward to question him.

Chu Peiran stood tall and said forcefully, "I am here to convict the Prince of Jiangling."

"How dare you!"

A group of guards surrounded them.

Chu Peiran walked forward, his golden aura blooming like a lotus flower, and a group of guards were blown away before they could even get close.

Qin Luo preferred to use diplomacy first, while Gui Chen disliked violence; they both shook their heads.

Chu Peiran arrived at the deep courtyard of the Prince's mansion. At this time, the courtyard was filled with singing and dancing. Prince Zhu Yang of Jiangling sat on a high place, with broad shoulders and a thick waist, but his arms were holding two beautiful women.

The refined scholar suddenly jumped onto the stage, and the courtyard fell silent. Chu Peiran looked around and said with a smile, "What are you standing there for? Keep playing the music and keep dancing."

Zhu Yang stood up, his face filled with anger. "You are incredibly audacious to trespass into the Prince's residence!"

"Men, seize them!"

At a command, several powerful cultivators appeared in the courtyard and rushed towards Qin Luo and his companions.

Chu Peiran drew his sword, and golden sword light slashed out. Those cultivators who approached him were either killed or injured. Some cultivators rushed towards Qin Luo but were knocked unconscious by a palm strike. Other powerful demons rushed towards Gui Chen but were knocked back to their original forms by his staff.

Gui Chen noticed a strong demonic aura here. He raised his golden bowl, and Buddhist light shone everywhere. The beautiful maiden beside the Prince of Jiangling turned into two large white geese, and the demons in the courtyard were exposed and scattered.

Chu Peiran arrived in front of the Prince of Jiangling, and two large white geese flapped their wings and fled from the place.

The Prince of Jiangling was surrounded by numerous experts, but they crumbled in the blink of an eye. He slumped in his seat and said, "I am the Prince. If you touch me, you will bear the consequences."

Chu Peiran pointed his longsword at the throat of the Prince of Jiangling and said coldly, "Take a good look at this sword."

The Prince of Jiangling looked at Chu Peiran's sword, its blade adorned with golden patterns resembling fish scales. Realizing something, he exclaimed in horror, "This is the King-Slaying Sword bestowed upon the Chu family by His Majesty!"

"You do have some knowledge!"
