Chapter 174 Royal Palace Gathering

"Princess, could you invite Grandpa to go to the palace for a drink with us?"

The little dumpling's eyes were full of anticipation.

Zhu Xian rubbed the little dumpling's head. "You can still remember Lao Gao. You're so good. Go and call him."

"Thank you, Princess!"

"Grandpa, let's go to the palace for a drink."

The little dumpling's voice reached the kitchen.

Old Gao turned around and saw the little dumpling running over. He waved his hand awkwardly, "I'm not going. You guys go have a drink."

The little dumpling lowered its head, looking somewhat disappointed. "Grandpa, if you're not going, I won't go either."

"I'll go, I'll go!" Seeing that the little girl was unhappy, Old Gao quickly nodded in agreement. This was the only child who called him Grandpa, and he didn't want to see her sad.

"Grandpa, let's go!"

The little dumpling pulled Lao Gao's hand and walked outside.

Zhu Xian smiled and said, "Little Dumpling is really something. I've never seen Lao Gao so happy before."

Qin Luo watched as the little girl became more and more sensible, but he couldn't feel happy. "I shouldn't have brought her here."

"Did she come with us?" Zhu Xian didn't see Xiao Tuanzi in the farmhouse courtyard.

"I have my reasons."

"You can leave her in my care."

"Need not."

Zhu Xian and the others walked out of the Heavenly Stems Courtyard.

The little black cat watched Qin Luo walk further and further away, then jumped down from the courtyard wall and disappeared in the blink of an eye.

A golden carriage was parked on the street. Zhu Xian led Qin Luo and the others into the carriage, which was luxuriously decorated. The little dumpling exclaimed with delight, "What a beautiful room!"

Zhu Xian hugged the little dumpling into her arms. "Little dumpling, if you come with me, this room is yours."

The little dumpling shook its head vigorously, "Princess sister, I'd rather live in the boss's pocket."

"You're not smart."

"I am very intelligent."

Zhu Xian pinched the little dumpling's cheek.

The Imperial Palace of the Great Xia Dynasty, the Imperial Garden.

Chu Qingcheng was brought here by Zhu Xian's maid, and she saw Hua Ying standing in the garden admiring the flowers.

Hua Ying also saw Chu Qingcheng arrive at the Imperial Garden. Knowing that she was Qin Luo's senior sister, she took the initiative to step forward to greet her, bowing slightly and saying, "Hua Ying of Wushang Temple greets Senior Sister Chu!"

Hearing Hua Ying call her Senior Sister Chu, Chu Qingcheng was a little surprised. She smiled sweetly, "Fairy Hua, I hope you don't misunderstand what happened last time."

Hua Ying shook her head slightly, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Qin Luo explained to me that he wouldn't have paid any attention to me if it weren't for Senior Sister Chu."

“He’s a bit foolish. If it were before, I could help you teach him a lesson, but now I can’t beat him. I can only say a few words to him on your behalf.” Chu Qingcheng knew that Hua Ying liked Qin Luo, but Qin Luo wanted to stay away from Hua Ying for some reason.

Hearing that Chu Qingcheng wanted to help her, Hua Ying smiled and said, "Senior Sister Chu, you don't need to speak up for me. I misunderstood Qin Luo. His kindness to me made me mistakenly believe that I was loved."

Chu Qingcheng saw the peach branch on Hua Ying's head and asked, "Is this a peach branch from Longhu Temple?"

"Yes."

Hua Ying smiled faintly, "It was given to me by Qin Luo, but it's not as pretty as Senior Sister Chu's."

A peach branch adorned Chu Qingcheng's dark hair, with vibrant peach blossoms blooming at its tip. With gentle eyes, she said, "No peach blossom is as beautiful as you."

Hua Ying blushed, "Senior Sister Chu is beautiful too."

Chu Qingcheng and Hua Ying both burst out laughing at the same time.

Why did Senior Sister Chu leave Longhu Temple?

"The State of Chu is facing a crisis and I need to go back to deal with it. The years I spent at Longhu Temple were the most leisurely time of my life. Since leaving Longhu Temple, I have been constantly troubled."

"Me too."

Hua Ying likes Longhu Temple.

"I plan to visit Longhu Temple when I return to Chu. If you have time, you can come with me."

"OK."

Hua Ying nodded with a smile.

......

Zhu Xian and his companions arrived at the palace.

"Wan'er, you take Xiao Tuanzi and Lao Gao to the cellar to move the wine, I'll go for a stroll in the Imperial Garden with Master Qin."

"promise!"

"Let's go get the wine!"

The little dumpling ran off happily.

Zhu Xian and Qin Luo arrived at the Imperial Garden, where Hua Ying and Chu Qingcheng were chatting and laughing.

"Senior Sister!"

Qin Luo greeted him with a smile.

Zhu Xian said warmly, "Princess, I just found out you were in the capital, I'm so sorry."

Chu Qingcheng bowed slightly to show her respect, "I've come uninvited and have caused trouble for the princess."

"Ying'er, I have something to discuss with the Princess. Why don't you take Master Qin for a stroll in the garden?"

"ah?"

Hua Ying was stunned.

Zhu Xian winked at her.

Chu Qingcheng followed Zhu Xian away from the Imperial Garden.

Hua Ying stood there stunned, while Qin Luo was quite casual. He strolled around the Imperial Garden, where there were many exotic flowers and plants that he had never seen before.

Seeing Qin Luo walk away, Hua Ying quickly chased after him. After a long silence, she said, "Tomorrow I will be presiding over a discussion at Wushang Temple. You probably won't see me again after that."

Qin Luo looked at Hua Ying and said earnestly, "I think I will miss you."

Hua Ying smiled.

A smile spread across her pretty face.

Qin Luo used his divine sense to transmit his voice, "Senior, can you protect her?"

In Hua Ying's arms was a jade pendant. The purple-haired fairy responded to Qin Luo's question with her divine sense, "It's a bit difficult in my current state."

Qin Luo frowned slightly. If even the purple-haired fairy couldn't guarantee she could protect Hua Ying, it meant the situation would be very complicated.

"Are you aware of the Imperial Advisor's plans?"

"The Imperial Advisor is very discreet. He only told Hua Ying Wangdu that it was dangerous, and that it was even more dangerous outside the capital."

"Then we can only deal with it as it comes."

Qin Luo looked at Hua Ying with a serious expression and said, "Those who cultivate the Dao should not speak of fate, and should never give up."

"Isn't the goal to stay away from the world?"
