Qin Luo sat on the tiger demon's back.
They followed the little boy forward.
"Little tiger, can you walk a little faster?"
The tiger demon's face darkened.
It ignored the little boy.
"Brother, I'll teach it a lesson for you."
The little boy circled behind the tiger demon, jumped up, and slapped it twice. The tiger demon winced in pain and roared, "You brat, you just wait!"
Qin Luo said sternly, "You should have thought this day would come when you bullied the people."
"What you say is true, Daoist!"
The tiger demon dared not utter another sound.
Clap clap clap!
"Hurry up and walk!"
The little boy hit harder and harder.
Qin Luo knew this was the tiger demon's limit, so he smiled and said, "Little guy, don't rush, sit down first."
"All right!"
The little boy leaped up and sat cross-legged on the tiger demon's head, grinning foolishly, "Brother, your little tiger is so lazy, like a sick cat, not majestic at all."
The tiger demon barely suppressed his rage.
The little boy raised an eyebrow and grinned, "Brother, deep in the forbidden land of the Yellow Springs, there lives a giant tiger with wings. It's incredibly fierce."
Qin Luo chuckled and teased, "Have you ever touched its butt?"
Not yet.
The little boy put his hands on his hips and said, "I'm going to tame it someday and use it as my mount."
How long have you lived here?
"A very, very long time."
Qin Luo asked with a smile, "Then could you tell me about the situation in the Forbidden Land of the Underworld?"
The little boy held up three fingers and said in a clear voice, "There are three major forces in the Forbidden Land of the Underworld: the demons entrenched deep within the forbidden land, the Underworld Inn in the sea of flowers, and of course, my father. You're lucky to have met me. With me, you can walk sideways in the Forbidden Land of the Underworld."
"hehe."
The tiger demon let out a cold laugh.
Knock knock knock!
The sand and gravel on the ground were trembling.
In the distance, yellow sand churned, and the little boy frowned deeply. "Oh no, it's a monster!"
A long, thin roar echoed through the sky, even the tiger demon felt a chill to the bone. Qin Luo looked into the distance and saw a huge, lizard-like monster rushing towards them at an extremely fast speed.
The monster was covered in black scales and had a gaping maw like a crocodile. In just a few breaths, it was less than a hundred feet away from them. The little boy suddenly slapped the tiger demon on the head, "What are you standing there for? Run!"
The tiger demon couldn't run fast even if it wanted to.
Qin Luo raised his hand.
Boom!
A bolt of black lightning descended from the sky.
The black lightning struck the monster, instantly creating a deep crater in the ground. The surrounding land turned scorched black. The lizard-like monster was still roaring as it crawled out of the crater.
The monster's scales cracked and fell off, its skin torn open, and black blood flowed out.
The little boy's eyes widened; he hadn't expected Qin Luo's casual strike to possess such terrifying power.
The monster did not retreat, but continued to charge towards their location, appearing before them in the blink of an eye.
A wisp of golden fire appeared at Qin Luo's fingertip, and he whispered, "Yang Flame!"
boom!
The flame slowly bloomed, like a blazing sun. The little boy covered his eyes, and the surroundings became quiet. The fireball engulfed the monster, and when the little boy opened his eyes, the monster had vanished.
The little boy stared at the young Taoist priest with his white hair flowing down his back, his eyes wide with shock. He swallowed hard, gave him a thumbs up, and exclaimed, "Brother, you're amazing!"
"fine."
Qin Luo smiled and said softly, "That demon is quite powerful; it was actually able to withstand my tribulation lightning."
The little boy said in a deep voice, "Ordinary demons dare not approach the River Styx, so it must not be an ordinary demon, but an extremely powerful being even in the Forbidden Land of the Underworld."
Qin Luo's Yin Lightning could not destroy the demons, but the Yang Flame he unleashed with his Yang Qi easily annihilated them. It seems that Yang Qi has a strong restraining effect on the demons of the underworld.
The little boy jumped to the ground and picked up the black crystals scattered on the ground. Qin Luo knew that these things had fallen from the monster and contained evil power.
"This thing is dangerous."
Qin Luo reminded him.
The little boy grinned and said, "Brother, it's okay. This is a good thing. It's a rare magic crystal, one of the commonly used currencies in the Forbidden Land of the Underworld."
As he spoke, the little boy stuffed all the magic crystals on the ground into his pocket, grinning from ear to ear. "Brother, when we get to the Yellow Springs Inn later, I'll treat you to drinks and meat."
"OK."
Qin Luo nodded with a smile.
Much later.
They followed the River Styx to a sea of red flowers, with red spider lilies blooming on both banks of the river.
Not far from the riverbank stands a two-story wooden building with four large characters written on it: "Yellow Springs Inn".
Bang!
The inn's door was kicked open.
The little boy walked into the inn with his head held high and chest out.
"Oh, isn't this the young master?" said the red-faced old man sitting on the outside with a smile.
The little boy, with his hands behind his back and a smug look on his face, said, "Old drunkard, you're the one who knows what's good for you."
"Grandson, you've arrived?"
An elderly man with red hair reached out and touched the little boy's head. The little boy dodged, and the man glared at him, shouting angrily, "You old geezer, I'm your grandfather!"
"Hahaha."
Laughter and cheerful voices filled the inn.
The little boy came to the counter, put his hands on his hips, and said smugly, "Little Jasmine, hurry up and bring me the best food and drinks in your shop."
Behind the counter stood a girl in a black dress, resting her chin on one hand and yawning lazily. "Kid, don't disturb my rest."
