A den of thieves.
The surrounding area was littered with white bones.
Qin Luo and the little ghost entered the cave.
The cave was a maze of interconnected passages. Qin Luo sensed the presence of life force; deep within the cave, there was a strong heartbeat. His eyes narrowed slightly, and he murmured, "Could there be living beings in the haunted house?"
roar!
A roar came from deep within the cave.
A massive, ferocious beast emerged from the shadows.
With its slender horns, robust body, and enormous wings, it exuded a powerful aura. Sensing danger, the little ghost quickly hid behind Qin Luo.
The ferocious beast slowly approached.
Qin Luo cupped his hands in a respectful bow, a smile on his face. "My name is Qin Luo. Please forgive me if I have disturbed you."
Qiongqi frowned. The young Taoist priest before it had flowing white hair and looked like a sage, not simple at all. It asked in a deep voice, "What do you want here?"
"We are looking for immortal gold."
Qin Luo answered with a smile.
The brat raised his head, a smug look on his face. "This is my eldest brother. My second brother is a butcher. If you know what's good for you, hand over all the immortal gold, or else..."
Qin Luo reached out and gently rubbed the little boy's head, saying earnestly, "Don't always think about bullying the weak."
"Okay, bro."
The little devil felt a chill run down his spine.
If the little dumpling said something like that, Qin Luo would tap her on the head, after all, he was her boss.
Qin Luo was merely giving the little devil a reminder.
Qiongqi narrowed its eyes slightly, sensing something strange about Qin Luo's words, and said coldly, "There is no immortal gold here."
Qin Luo still smiled, "I can sense the presence of the immortal gold; we can trade."
"trade?"
Qiongqi revealed a mocking smile as it stared at Qin Luo and asked, "What will you offer in exchange?"
Qin Luo said earnestly, "I need immortal gold to rebuild my cycle of reincarnation. If I succeed, I can help you reincarnate."
"hehe."
"I have no interest in reincarnation."
Qiongqi's eyes were filled with indifference.
Qin Luo sensed life fluctuations deep within the cave, and he guessed that Qiongqi was guarding something there.
The kid pouted, "Brother, don't waste your breath on it, just kill it."
Upon hearing this, Qiongqi's eyes widened in anger. Was this some kind of fly, to be swatted dead at will?
"Since you disagree, I won't force you."
"I'm sorry to bother you!"
Qin Luo bowed slightly, then turned and left. The little devil stared wide-eyed, "Brother, are you really leaving?"
The little devil knew Qin Luo was very powerful. He had seen the law of the jungle in the Yellow Springs Forbidden Land and had never seen anyone who would reason with others. Qin Luo's actions seemed outrageous to him.
Watching Qin Luo walk out of the cave, the little devil made a face at Qiongqi, "Old man, you've gone far this time. If I run into you again, it'll be your death day!"
Seeing the little devil mocking him so arrogantly, Qiongqi was enraged and transformed into a blur as it charged towards the little devil.
"Brother, save me!"
The little devil turned to run away.
His speed is far inferior to Qiongqi's.
Snap!
The little devil was sent flying by a single palm strike.
Qin Luo watched as the little devil rolled out of the cave like a ball. A whooshing sound came from behind him, and a ghostly light swept in. "You come and go as you please? What do you take me for?"
Qiongqi's sharp claws slammed into Qin Luo's back, shattering even the space around them; its power was unimaginable.
Qin Luo didn't turn around. Golden light rose from his body, and Qiongqi's claws landed on the golden light. An explosion rang out, the surrounding space distorted, and the ground cracked like a spider web.
Qiongqi was forced back, its pupils shrinking sharply. It only breathed a sigh of relief when it saw Qin Luo's departing figure. "What terrifying power! Even at my peak, I would have had a hard time resisting it."
Qin Luo walked out of the cave and saw the little ghost rolling around on the ground. He smiled and shook his head.
"It hurts! It hurts so much!"
The little devil forced himself to stand up despite the pain, wiping his eyes as he said, "Brother, you have to avenge me!"
Qin Luo chuckled and said, "Sometimes you're really annoying, even I want to punch you."
"ah!"
The kid fell silent on the spot.
"You need to be more low-key in the future."
"Brother, I'll listen to you."
The little devil blinked innocently.
Qin Luo rubbed the little devil's head and looked into the distance, where black mist swirled and demons gathered. "I sensed immortal metal in the distance. Let's go take a look."
"Uh-huh."
The little devil smiled and nodded.
He quickly forgot the pain in his body.
Qin Luo and his group arrived at a deep canyon, with cliffs on both sides that looked as if they had been carved by a knife.
The canyon was teeming with monsters. Golden light emanated from Qin Luo's body, and in the blink of an eye, he silently annihilated the surrounding monsters, while the little devil collected magic crystals.
Qin Luo sensed a peculiar energy fluctuation. He stomped his foot, causing the ground beneath him to churn and emit light.
A dilapidated pagoda emerged from the ground, its dark yellow body riddled with cracks. Inside, the pagoda contained a large amount of immortal gold, which could be used as material to repair the divine tree.
Qin Luo put away the broken little tower.
The little devil found a piece of immortal gold the size of a fingernail and excitedly shouted, "Brother, I found a piece of immortal gold too! Look, isn't this very valuable?"
Looking at the azure immortal gold in the little ghost's hand, Qin Luo smiled and said, "This should be a fragment of an immortal sword. There should be many more fragments nearby."
The little devil grinned and said, "Brother, we can't let the evil spirit get away with this. We're going to make a killing when we get back."
Qin Luo said with a smile, "When we get back to the Yellow Springs Inn, you can stay in the number one room in the highest tier."
"OK!"
The kid smiled and nodded, then suddenly remembered something, "Brother, what about you?"
Qin Luo smiled slightly and said softly, "I should be leaving here soon."
