Nighttime, Autumn Wind Pavilion.
Chen Xu was lying on the stone table in the bamboo forest when he suddenly opened his eyes, stood up instantly, and turned around to see Qiu Luoye sweeping up the bamboo leaves that had fallen in front of the building.
"senior!"
Chen Xu approached Qiu Luoye and looked around, but did not see Qin Luo and the others.
"Senior, who won in the end?"
"Master Qin has won."
The autumn leaves fall with a serene expression.
Chen Xu's eyes showed shock, which then turned to regret that he hadn't been able to see them draw their swords.
"Do you still want to learn swordsmanship from me?"
"Senior, I'm willing."
Chen Xu nodded heavily. During his time at Qiufeng Tower, he had been helping Qiu Luoye clean the tower and often played chess with him, but he had not been able to become his disciple.
The Heavenly Dao wanted Qiu Luoye to kill Qin Luo. Only then did Qiu Luoye realize that she was a pawn of the Heavenly Dao and did not know if she could survive. Therefore, she did not take Chen Xu as her disciple, but kept him in Qiufeng Tower, played chess with him, and discussed the meaning of cultivation.
In this battle, Qiu Luoye was reborn. He picked up the wooden sword that Qin Luo had used and handed it to Chen Xu. With a smile in his eyes, he solemnly said, "Qin Luo defeated me with this wooden sword. I hope that you can also defeat me with this wooden sword in the future."
"Thank you, Master. This disciple obeys!"
Chen Xu knelt on the ground excitedly. He reached out and took the wooden sword with both hands. It was a very light wooden sword, but it felt heavy.
early morning.
Qin Luo opened his eyes.
He felt completely refreshed.
"Every time I'm exhausted, the One Qi Transforms into Three Purities technique automatically activates. Does this technique have a mind of its own?"
Master said that there was no need to rush to cultivate One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones; one needed to comprehend it. Qin Luo rarely used it, but now One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones was integrated with his breathing, and he could operate it on its own without deliberate cultivation.
"The Great Dao does not need cultivation; it is indeed true!"
Qin Luo raised his hand, and wisps of pure energy rose from his body. This pure energy was transparent and flawless, like the morning mist, and shimmered with golden light in the sunlight. "The One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones can actually generate innate Qi continuously, creating something from nothing. What a mysterious technique."
A knock came at the door.
Qin Luo snapped out of his daze and opened the door. Hua Ying was standing outside. She raised an eyebrow and said, "If you get up any later, you won't get any free porridge."
"Then I should thank you."
"You're welcome."
Qin Luo and Hua Ying came downstairs.
Xuanqing sat at the table, drinking porridge with one hand and fiddling with a roly-poly toy with the other.
The red roly-poly toy has a cute smiling face painted on it, and it can stand up quickly no matter how you push it.
Xiaodie handed a bowl of porridge to Qin Luo, her small face respectful, and said, "Master Dao, this porridge smells delicious."
The bowl contained red beans, red dates, walnuts, and other ingredients, and had a strong aroma. Qin Luo held the bowl of porridge and looked at Hua Ying, saying, "This porridge is quite generous with its ingredients. Here, have a sip."
Hua Ying looked at the porridge Qin Luo handed her, paused for a moment, then leaned in and took a sip. "It's alright."
Qin Luo finished the rest of the porridge and said with a smile, "It's really not as good as the porridge you made."
Hua Ying could sense that Qin Luo was deliberately being nice to her, and even so, she felt very happy.
After finishing their porridge, Qin Luo and his group left Huainan City and continued their journey towards the Ziyun Mountains.
Xiaodie carried the wooden stake.
Xuanqing played with a bamboo dragonfly the whole way.
The mountain roads were rugged, and sometimes we would wander around in the mountains, only covering a few dozen miles a day. We would drink the morning dew, eat wild fruits, and sleep on the ground every day.
In the blink of an eye, a month has passed.
As Qin Luo and his group drew closer to the Purple Cloud Mountains, they could even see a wisp of purple cloud in the distance.
Xiangyang Village.
The fields are filled with golden rice.
The villagers were busy in the rice fields early in the morning.
During the autumn harvest, every household is busy. Even young children help in the fields, cutting and threshing rice. Everyone works in an orderly manner.
As Qin Luo and his group passed by the rice paddies, he smiled and asked, "Do you need any help?"
A burly man in the rice paddy looked up at Qin Luo and the others, wiped the sweat from his brow, and waved his hand with a smile, "No need, my family can manage."
"Then you guys get busy!"
Qin Luo continued walking forward, and he could feel the joy of the harvest; everyone had smiles on their faces despite their hard work.
Hua Ying smiled, "You really want to freeload a meal?"
Qin Luo said in a serious tone, "It's exchanged for physical strength."
Seeing them sweating profusely, Xuanqing wanted to help them, so he breathed out a breath, creating a cool breeze, which made the villagers in the rice paddies laugh even more happily.
Qin Luo rubbed Xuan Qing's head.
As they were leaving Xiangyang Village, Qin Luo saw a young boy harvesting rice alone. He was bent over, and his speed was not much slower than that of the strong men.
"Do you need any help?"
Upon hearing Qin Luo's question, the boy straightened up. He was wearing a straw hat, and his face and body were covered in sweat. He hesitated briefly, but finally gritted his teeth and waved his hand.
Seeing that the young man was working very hard, while other families were helping out and had harvested one or two acres of land, he hadn't even finished harvesting half an acre. "We happen to have nothing to do, so we can help you harvest the rice. You can treat us to a meal."
Seeing that Qin Luo looked kind, the boy thought for a moment and realized that if so much rice couldn't be harvested in time, it would be troublesome if it rained or the wind blew. He said earnestly, "Big brother, if you help me harvest the rice, I'll give you half a bag of rice."
"One meal will do!"
Qin Luo tied his hair up with a rope, then jumped into the rice paddy, followed by Xuan Qing and Xiao Die.
The boy bundled the harvested rice into bunches and placed them neatly in the paddy field.
Qin Luo picked up a handful of rice and threshed it into the threshing bucket. All the rice grains fell into the bucket. "Easy, right?"
