The seventh day of the lunar month.
The sun was shining brightly, and the sky was cloudless.
Longhu Temple has returned to its former quiet state.
"I'm back!"
A crisp sound broke the tranquility of the Taoist temple. Lin Jia'er ran into the temple, wearing a brand-new red dress, carrying a snow-white handbag, her little face full of joyful smiles.
Xiaodie was sweeping the courtyard in front of the palace. She looked in the direction of the sound, her eyes filled with a smile, "Jia'er!"
"Sister Xiaodie, these are candied dates!" Lin Jia'er handed the candied dates wrapped in kraft paper to Xiaodie.
"Thanks."
Xiaodie's eyebrows and eyes curved slightly.
"Uncle Qin!"
Lin Jia'er ran into the main hall and whispered, "Uncle Qin, I'd like to treat you to some candied dates."
Qin Luo and the others each received two candied dates. Lin Jia'er stood on tiptoe and placed the two candied dates on the offering table.
"Uncle Qin, my mother and brother are here!"
Qin Luo looked outside the hall and saw Yao Shuang and Lin Jun. He quickly went to the courtyard in front of the hall to greet them.
Yao Shuang was carrying cured meat and sausages, Lin Jun was carrying fresh rice on his back and two pieces of tofu in his hand, and Jin Yan and Cai Xia came to the yard to help carry things.

Caixia ran into the kitchen.
Lin Jia'er ran into the bedroom, leaned over the bed, and whispered, "Great Protector, are you awake yet?"
The little dumpling was curled up in the blankets and didn't move.
Lin Jia'er whispered, "Great Protector, I brought you lots of candy."
The little dumpling suddenly threw off the covers, sat up, stretched, and said, "What candy?"
"Great Protector, these are all for you." Lin Jia'er took out candy, peanuts, and melon seeds from her pocket.
"Our Jia'er is the most sensible!"
The little dumpling pinched Lin Jia'er's cheek.
In the backyard of the Taoist temple, Yao Shuang looked around and said with a smile, "The environment of Longhu Temple is not as bad as my husband said. It looks quite nice."
Qin Luo chuckled and said, "It was just renovated."
No wonder.
Yao Shuang suddenly realized.
Caixia brought over steaming hot tea. With clear eyes, she smiled sweetly and said, "Sister-in-law, please have some tea."
