Chapter 47 Visiting Xuanzhi Mountain

Qin Luo's eyes were filled with amusement. "Interesting. You're quite cute. What's your name?"

Everyone calls me Big Yellow!

The ferocious beast blinked.

Qin Luo thought of his junior sister's dog, "How about I give you a more domineering name?"

"good!"

"Please bestow a name upon me, Boss!"

The little monster wagged its tail excitedly.

Qin Luo looked at the little ferocious beast, which had five tails and a small golden horn on its head, and suddenly an idea struck him. "Five tails or golden horn, which name do you prefer?"

"Golden Horn!"

The little monster didn't think much of it.

Qin Luo asked seriously, "Golden Horn, if I ask you to guard the Taoist temple from now on, can you accept that?"

"Whatever the boss says goes!"

Golden Horn wagged its tail.

This attitude was more loyal than the little dumpling's. Qin Luo squatted down and reached out to rub the golden horn's head. "Let's go for a trip in the north first, and then I'll take you back to Longhu Temple."

"Uh-huh."

Jinjiao nodded repeatedly.

It knew that following Qin Luo was the right thing to do.

"Let's go."

Qin Luo walked in front, and Jinjiao followed behind. It looked like a well-behaved little yellow cat, except it had five tails and golden horns.

......

evening.

The sunset draped Xuanzhi Mountain in a golden veil.

Xuanzhi Mountain floats in the air, resembling a finger piercing the clouds, hence its name.

The man with thick eyebrows and the tall, thin man fled back to Xuanzhi Mountain, their expressions filled with terror. "Elder Qi, Elder Xiao, something terrible has happened! Junior Sister Zhou has been killed!"

Xuan refers to the foot of the mountain.

Two elderly men sat cross-legged on the white jade array stone; they were the elders responsible for guarding the mountain gate array.

Qi Yun's eyes widened in anger. "Who did this?"

Zhou Qian was Qi Yun's apprentice, whom he had painstakingly trained for many years and had high hopes for. Upon hearing the news of her murder, he suddenly stood up.

Seeing the anger on the elder's face, the man with thick eyebrows and the tall, thin man immediately knelt on the ground, trembling, and said in a trembling voice, "He is a young Taoist priest, we don't know him."

"A young Taoist priest?"

Qi Yun frowned and looked at the white-browed elder beside him. "Could they be Taoists from the Dragon Tiger Temple?"

Xuanzhi Mountain suffered a humiliating defeat at Longhu Temple, incurring heavy losses. Only the higher-ups of Xuanzhi Mountain knew about this, and they did not let the younger generation know, for fear of affecting their cultivation.

They heard that the Taoist priests from Longhu Temple were coming to Xuanzhi Mountain, and they initially thought it was just a threat, but now it seems they really are coming.

The white-browed elder, named Pan Long, said calmly, "Senior Brother Qi, don't worry. This is Xuanzhi Mountain; anyone who comes here is just courting death!"

"Too."

Qi Yun thought it made a lot of sense.

"Longhu Temple, Qin Luo."

"I have come to visit Xuanzhi Mountain."

Qin Luo's loud voice resounded through the sky, and cultivators at both the foot and the summit of the mountain heard it.

Qi Yun and Pan Long were shocked. They looked in the direction of the sound and saw a young Taoist priest standing on the mountaintop below Xuanzhi Mountain, bowing to them politely.
