The phoenix cries out in the nine heavens!
Beyond the mountain, dazzling flames shot into the sky, like a sun illuminating Sunset Peak.
In the blink of an eye, the fire phoenix arrived, circling around the Dragon Tiger Temple. Qin Luo looked up and saw a majestic and tall figure behind the fire phoenix, clad in golden soft armor, graceful as a startled swan and a swimming dragon. She tied her high ponytail with a long red ribbon, which fluttered in the wind. Her golden eyes held an arrogant look that seemed to look down on the world, like an emperor. She had a handsome face, arms crossed, and a heroic and dashing appearance.
The temperature between heaven and earth is rising.
The Fire Phoenix is an ancient divine beast with immense power and a terrifying aura. Even Golden Horn tucks its tail between its legs when it sees it.
"She is a princess of the Great Xia Dynasty."
"Zhu Xian".
Hua Ying's eyes and brows seemed to smile.
They are very good friends.
Zhu Xian leaped down from the height and landed steadily in front of the Dragon and Tiger Temple. Yin Tiger and Chen Dragon knelt down in front of her.
"Ying'er, are you alright?"
Zhu Xian's voice was clear and cheerful.
Hua Ying shook her head, "Princess, I'm fine."
Zhu Xian looked at the young Taoist priest, raised an eyebrow and said, "I've come from afar, so you won't welcome me in for a seat?"
"please!"
Qin Luo smiled and reached out his hand.
He did not sense any hostility.
Zhu Xian walked into the Dragon Tiger Temple without any hesitation.
Yin Hu and Chen Long wanted to follow, but Wu Xuantian stopped them. Zhu Xian noticed this and waved her hand slightly, indicating that Yin Hu and Chen Long could wait outside.
"Princess, please have a seat."
Qin Luo led Zhu Xian to the pavilion in the front yard.
Zhu Xian looked around and was surprised to find the Longhu Temple so dilapidated. She looked at Hua Ying, who was wearing an old Taoist robe, and frowned slightly. "Ying'er, I'm sorry you've suffered. I just found out you were trapped here, otherwise I would have taken you back long ago."
Qin Luo took out the tea leaves grown by his junior sister and brewed a pot of hot tea. He poured a cup of tea for Zhu Xian.
Please enjoy your meal.
"You're quite particular."
Zhu Xian picked up the hot tea and took a sip. She closed her eyes and savored it carefully. "This tea is very special."
The tea has a slightly bitter taste.
She has tasted many flavors.
The only thing I've never tasted is bitterness.
Qin Luo was somewhat surprised, thinking that she was used to drinking expensive teas and wouldn't like this kind of ordinary mountain tea.
Zhang Fulong appeared in the courtyard at some point, his hands behind his back, his deep eyes fixed on Zhu Xian.
Zhu Xian stood up and bowed slightly to show respect. "Senior, I'm here to take her away."
Why isn't the Imperial Advisor here?
"You know he won't come." Zhu Xian's eyebrows were filled with heroic spirit as he said loudly, "The Imperial Preceptor also asked me to pass on a message: the founder of Longhu Temple was expelled from the sect by the Dao Ancestor and is not qualified to worship the Dao Ancestor. Wushang Temple is the legitimate one."
Qin Luo frowned slightly.
Is Longhu Temple not an orthodox temple?
“Provocation won’t work on me.” Zhang Fulong narrowed his eyes slightly, his expression unchanged, and said calmly, “Even if the Imperial Preceptor really doesn’t come, you can’t take her away so easily.”
Zhu Xian toyed with his teacup. "Senior, you can name your terms, and we can make a deal."
Qin Luo and Hua Ying looked at Zhang Fulong.
"Can you make that decision?"
"I am the crown prince, responsible for overseeing the country."
Zhu Xian possessed an imposing presence even without anger, and his words carried weight and authority.
Qin Luo was somewhat surprised; she was actually the Crown Princess. No wonder the Prince of Zhenbei had designs on the throne.
“What a coward, no wonder you’ve survived this long.” Zhang Fulong looked at Qin Luo and said with a smile, “Since the Imperial Advisor would rather be a tortoise than come, then you can negotiate the terms.”
Zhu Xian looked at the young Taoist priest.
Qin Luo said softly, "From now on, the forces of the Great Xia Dynasty cannot cause trouble at Longhu Temple, nor can they touch the deities conferred by Longhu Temple. If you agree, you can take Huaying away."
"no problem."
Zhu Xian readily nodded.
"I've heard that the Emperor of the Great Xia Dynasty dislikes gods?"
"What does it matter to me if my father doesn't like it? I'm the regent now, so whatever I say goes."
"What if your father changes his mind?"
"He dares!"
Zhu Xian's attitude was assertive.
It was as if the entire world was trembling.
Qin Luo looked at Hua Ying, "You can leave now!"
The evening breeze was slightly cool, and Hua Ying suddenly felt a little cold. She didn't know why, even though she had lived in Longhu Temple for so long, and every day she was either working or on her way to work, she was very reluctant to leave this place. The thought of leaving left her feeling empty.
"Ying'er, what are you thinking about?"
Zhu Xian was distracted by the sight of the flower shadow.
"I'm going to change my clothes."
Hua Ying went to the backyard alone.
Zhu Xian sensed that Hua Ying was acting strangely. She walked up to Qin Luo, who was about the same height. Their eyes met, and they were very close. "Honestly, have you been bullying Ying'er?"
"No."
"Heaven and earth bear witness."
Qin Luo answered seriously.
Zhu Xian looked at his clear eyes and thought he didn't seem like a bad person. "Why is Ying'er working at the Dragon Tiger Temple?"
"Because she came to Longhu Temple to have her fortune told but didn't pay."
"That's quite reasonable."
Zhu Xian forced herself not to laugh.
We'll use this to make fun of Huaying from now on.
...
A long time has passed.
Hua Ying, dressed in a light purple dress, came to the courtyard, her long hair still tied up with a peach branch.
Zhu Xian's tea had gone cold. She asked in confusion, "Ying'er, why did it take you so long to change your clothes?"
"It took a while to do the laundry."
You're probably sick.
Zhu Xian rubbed his forehead.
Qin Luo suddenly realized that she was quite nice; she even knew to wash the clothes she had worn before leaving.
Hua Ying walked up to Zhang Fulong and asked, "Senior, could you give me a marriage talisman?"
Zhang Fulong shook his head, "This humble Taoist priest has none."
