night.
Deep in the mountains and forests, moonlight spilled through the trees, and Qin Luo felt a sense of ethereal bliss, almost like weightlessness. He preferred to be grounded and disliked this feeling.
Qin Luo arrived at a nearby mountain peak. He sat cross-legged under a straight pine tree, feeling the mountain breeze and listening to the breath of heaven and earth, trying to find his original feeling again.
The bright moon shone on the mountaintop, and Qin Luo was shrouded in a hazy mist, his figure appearing and disappearing indistinctly.
The next day, early morning.
Qin Luo slowly opened his eyes, his clear eyes as calm as a lake, he had returned to normal.
"This must be a side effect of the Heavenly Dao fragments."
Qin Luo thought of the water god's words about fearing that he would no longer be himself, and realized that this was very likely, and that he might be replaced by Him.
The golden-red sunrise shone on him, warm and comforting, and Qin Luo stretched lazily.
Qin Luo took out the golden gourd and drank the morning dew, feeling full of energy. This dew from the old peach tree tasted even better than the dew in the mountains outside.
The little ball curled up into a ball, its fluffy feathers red and shiny. Qin Luo reached out and held the little ball in his hands, gently stroking one of its little red feathers that was sticking up.
The little dumpling didn't react.
It is absorbing and digesting the energy.
Qin Luo put the little dumpling into his pocket. A single hair stuck out. He walked south, guided by his senses, sensing the world around him as he went.
After absorbing the two fragments of the Heavenly Dao, he felt closer to this world, as if he could touch the sky with a wave of his hand.
Around noon, Qin Luo walked out of the mountains and saw a simple tea stall at a roadside intersection not far away. It was drafty and he was a little thirsty, so he walked towards the tea stall.
"Master Daoist, please come inside!"
The elderly man with white hair and beard said warmly.
Qin Luo entered the tea stall and bowed slightly. "Old man, what place is this?"
"Master Daoist, this place is called a crossroads. To the south lies Jiangling County, and to the north lies Jiuyang County. Would you like some tea?"
How much is a pot?
"Drink as much as you want for just one penny."
"That's quite cheap, have a pot."
Qin Luo sat in the tea stall.
The old man poured freshly boiled water into the teapot with a warm smile on his face. "This water is from a nearby mountain spring, the tea leaves are freshly picked spring tea from the mountain, and the firewood was also collected from the mountain. It's all free, so it's cheap."
"That must have been quite tough."
"I can't stay idle, so I'll find something to do."
Qin Luo smelled the rich aroma of tea. He picked up the teapot and poured out a bowl of tea. Steam rose from the bowl, and the tender green tea leaves swirled in it, gradually unfurling as if they had just been picked.
"Master Dao, be careful, it's hot."
"OK."
Qin Luo picked up the teacup and took a sip. The tea was smooth and refreshing, and its rich aroma made him feel relaxed and happy.
The tea that the junior sister brought to Longhu Temple was a bit bitter. They would take the good tea to town to sell for money, and keep the tea that couldn't be sold for their own consumption.
Qin Luo looked at the old man and smiled slightly, "Old man, are there any famous historical sites nearby?"
The old man pointed to the southwest and said, "Master Dao, the Sendai in the Yunling Mountains is quite famous. There were cultivators who ascended to the immortal realm there, so it is called Sendai."
"Sendai!"
Qin Luo muttered to himself.
It sounds like a very impressive place.
A whooshing sound rang out as cultivators flew south on their swords. Generally, sword cultivators of lower cultivation levels flew low. The old man even ran out to look out, his eyes filled with envy.
The old man returned to the teahouse. "Master Daoist, those are cultivators from the Spirit Sword Sect. The Spirit Sword Sect is very close to the Immortal Platform."
"Was the one who ascended to immortality a cultivator from the Spirit Sword Sect?"
The old man shook his head, deliberately lowering his voice: "No, I heard he was a piece of trash that the Spirit Sword Sect didn't want. He deliberately ascended in front of the Spirit Sword Sect, probably to humiliate them."
Qin Luo couldn't help but chuckle, "There's actually such a thing? The Spirit Sword Sect can tolerate the existence of the Immortal Platform?"
"I'm not sure about that, but ordinary people can't get close to Sendai; they can only observe from afar," the old man laughed heartily.
"I understand."
Qin Luo continued drinking his tea.
After finishing his tea, Qin Luo took out a copper coin and handed it to the old man, saying, "Old man, the tea was very good, thank you."
"You're welcome!"
The old man waved his hand repeatedly as he watched Qin Luo walk away. It was rare to encounter such a polite customer.
After Qin Luo left.
The old man picked up the copper coin in his hand and smelled it. It had a strange fragrance that calmed his mind. "This coin has a strong incense smell. It should be able to ward off evil spirits and bring good fortune."
"Take it back and give it to Xiaobao."
The old man tied the copper coins together with a red string.
The cultivators who had just passed by left traces in the world. Qin Luo walked towards the direction of the Spirit Sword Sect.
......
Spirit Sword Sect.
Located deep in the Yunling Mountains.
Near the Spirit Sword Sect was a bustling town, mostly inhabited by the families of cultivators. Qin Luo passed through the town unnoticed and arrived near the Spirit Sword Sect's mountain gate.
The area outside the mountain gate was quite deserted, with only menial disciples dressed in old gray clothes sweeping the floor.
Qin Luo stepped forward and greeted them with a smile, "Fellow Daoist, I am Qin Luo from Longhu Temple. I was passing by Lingjian Sect and came here specifically to pay my respects to the seniors of Lingjian Sect."
The thin, lowly disciple was immediately awestruck by Qin Luo's otherworldly appearance and hurriedly said, "Senior, I will go and inform the elders right away."
The servant disciple left with a broom.
Qin Luo stood outside the mountain gate waiting, observing his surroundings. "The spiritual energy here is abundant; it's a great place for cultivation."
Before long, a middle-aged man in white robes arrived outside the mountain gate, carried by the breeze. He couldn't sense Qin Luo's cultivation level; he was either very powerful or just an ordinary person.
The fact that his clothes were spotless upon arrival indicated he was no ordinary person. The middle-aged man in white was quite perceptive. He greeted him warmly, saying, "I am Lin Gaofeng, an outer sect elder of the Spirit Sword Sect. May I ask what brings you to the Spirit Sword Sect, young friend?"
