Chapter Ninety-Three
Qin Luo arrived at the summit of Sendai Mountain.
Above him was a brilliant starry sky, and he looked down at the last step beneath his feet, on which two words were carved with a sword.
"Stop the Way".
Is this where the Dao ends?
Qin Luo guessed the meaning of Zhidao.
The elder must have had a reason for carving the words here. Does it mean the road disappears here, or that the operation of the Way has stopped, or something else?
"It's more interesting than just saying 'I was here'."
Qin Luo couldn't understand the meaning of those two words for the time being. He looked up and saw a tall stone tablet on the mountaintop with four powerful characters engraved on it.
Do not seek it externally.
Qin Luo nodded. He felt that this made a lot of sense. True power comes from within. The test left by that senior did not require strong cultivation, but rather a strong inner strength.
At the mountaintop stands a large tree, ravaged by lightning, its trunk blackened and broken, yet new branches grow upwards, containing a rich life force.
"Life is tenacious!"
Qin Luo sat cross-legged on the mountaintop. He closed his eyes and, with the help of the laws of time, saw the scene of tribulation in the river of time. A resilient and upright figure swung his sword to summon tribulation lightning. The lightning connected heaven and earth, and the entire platform was shrouded in lightning.
That senior rushed towards the sea of lightning alone. His body was torn apart by the tribulation lightning, and the lightning surged into his body. He remained calm and resolutely rushed to the deepest part of the sea of lightning, opening his arms to welcome the most intense tribulation light.
The tribulation lasted for a long time, and the senior's physical body was in a terrible state. Just when everyone thought he was going to fail the tribulation, a powerful energy surged out from his body.
Golden light shone from his brow and chest, and his cracked body began to heal, continuously absorbing the energy of the tribulation lightning.

A sword light slashed towards the sky.
Qin Luo watched as that senior headed towards the Immortal Realm.

Feng Qianye and Shen Jianyi were talking in the pavilion.
Chen Jian recounted the entire process of reaching the summit to Feng Qianye without missing a single detail, saying, "It was all thanks to Qin Luo."
Feng Qianye sighed, "Back when the geniuses from the Immortal Realm were about to reach the summit, they saw that stone tablet. We wanted to exchange information with spirit stones, but they didn't want to tell us what was on it. Qin Luo, however, gave us the answer directly."
Chen Jianyi took out a golden fruit, only the size of a thumb, containing rich energy. "Master, I picked this on the mountaintop. There was a tree there that had been struck by lightning. It bore fruit on the newly grown branches. There was only one of these fruits."
"Thunder Tribulation Fruit!"
Feng Qianye looked shocked. "This is the legendary Tribulation Fruit, which grows in the Tribulation Land. It is a divine medicine that can transform a person and bring them back to life. It is extremely rare in the world."
"It really is a good product!"
Shen Jianyi's face was filled with joy.
Feng Qianye frowned and said seriously, "Without Qin Luo's guidance, you wouldn't even have a chance to reach the top of the Immortal Platform. How dare you take the Thunder Tribulation Fruit?"
Chen Jianyi felt somewhat ashamed. He handed the fruit to Feng Qianye and said respectfully, "Master, I would like to give this fruit to you or the Supreme Elder. If you take this fruit, you will have the opportunity to become a Sword Immortal. If the Supreme Elder takes it, it can prolong his life for many years. Our Spirit Sword Sect needs this fruit very much."
"Return the Thunder Tribulation Fruit to Qin Luo. Although he may not care about it, we cannot be ungrateful." Feng Qianye's face was frosty. He knew that Shen Jianyi was doing it for their own good, but he was foolish and couldn't distinguish between what was important and what was not.

Shen Jianyi looked surprised. It was really as his master had said. He didn't care about the Tribulation Fruit. "Brother Qin, without your guidance, I couldn't have reached the top. The fortune should belong to you."
Feng Qianye walked over and echoed with a smile, "Yes, young friend, your help to Jian Yi far surpasses this Thunder Tribulation Fruit. We would feel guilty if you didn't accept it."
Chen Jian nodded, his expression earnest, and said, "If Brother Qin doesn't accept it, I'll feel bad."
Not wanting to put them in a difficult position, Qin Luo reached out and took the Thunder Tribulation Fruit, smiling as he asked, "Brother Chen, have you seen those two words on the steps?"
"Are there words on the steps?"
"I only saw four characters on the stone tablet."
"There are two characters on the highest steps in Sendai: 'Stop the Way.' I don't understand their meaning."
Feng Qianye and Shen Jian exchanged a glance and shook their heads simultaneously; they also didn't know the meaning of those two words.
Qin Luo put away the Tribulation Fruit, smiled and cupped his hands, "Sect Master Feng, Brother Chen, we'll meet again someday!"
"Take care, young friend!"
"Brother Qin, may we meet again someday!"
Shen Jianyi and Feng Qianye watched Qin Luo leave, his sleeves fluttering in the breeze, graceful and unrestrained.
