Song Shu is a squirrel demon. His magic power is low, and his human form is unstable. But on Spirit Mountain, Song Shu is the best at finding food among all the squirrels.

As winter approached, Song Shu had hoarded a tree cave full of winter provisions, ready to enjoy a wonderful winter. Unexpectedly, one day, as he strenuously carried a huge pinecone back to his cave, he discovered that all the winter provisions he had painstakingly gathered were gone!

All! Gone! Song Shu was struck by lightning and fainted from anger. When he woke up again, Song Shu looked at the empty tree cave, his heart feeling like a gaping hole, letting out cold drafts.

After a night, still unable to stomach it, Song Shu stomped his foot, took out his last remaining pinecone, and decided he wouldn't spend the winter like this! He would go find the thief who stole his winter hoard and get revenge!

Before the first snowflake of winter, Song Shu descended the mountain. Passing by a thatched hut, he smelled a familiar scent. It was his scent! The provision thief! Song Shu's eyes lit up, and he furiously darted through the window of the thatched hut, only to see an upright gentleman in white robes sitting by the window reading a book. The man and the squirrel's gazes met strangely.

Song Shu looked at the peanut shells on the table, then at the elegant, clear-as-the-moon gentleman. "Thief, I'll send you to King Yama right now!" Song Shu roared and pounced.

Subsequently, a pair of distinct knuckles held the fluffy squirrel's tail, swinging it in the air. Qin Mian, confused, asked, "Where did this squirrel come from? Why is it still wandering around in winter? Aren't you afraid of freezing to death?"

On a snowy night, Qin Mian picked up a squirrel that had delivered itself to his door. This squirrel had smooth fur, was lively and nimble, and quite endearing. In a daze, Qin Mian suddenly realized: every time Song Shu pounced, he was actually trying to kill him... Later, the misunderstandings between the man and the squirrel were resolved, and Qin Mian resolved to properly teach this petty little squirrel how to cultivate.

Who knew that one day, the little squirrel would transform into an adorable young man with a fluffy big tail, hold his hand, and seriously say, "I think I'm in estrus, Qin Mian, please help me."
