Chapter 22

Chapter 22

Song Shu thought that Qin Mian should have apologized to him the next day. However, not only did Qin Mian not apologize to him the next day, he even brought in a carved wooden bed from somewhere.

The wooden bed was placed about eight feet away from the stone bed. Qin Mian also hung curtains on the bedposts, as if he wanted to separate himself from Song Shu.

Seeing Song Shu staring at him intently, Qin Mian said calmly, "The black jade bed is too small. It's a bit crowded for the two of us to practice together, so I bought another bed so that we can each have more space."

"You will practice on the black jade bed from now on."

The black jade bed can condense spiritual energy, which not only speeds up the progress of cultivation, but also benefits the body.

Song Shuxu narrowed his eyes and scanned Qin Mian's face. He felt that something was wrong with Qin Mian recently. Not only did he always make Shu angry, but now he even wanted to separate the beds.

They used to be able to sleep together on the small, broken bed in the thatched hut, but after switching to the larger stone bed, they couldn't sleep together anymore.

After thinking for a long time, Song Shu came to a conclusion that made Shu angry.

Qin Mian is annoyed with him!

That's why I have to find another bed, separate from the rat!

With a burning anger and a slight bitterness in his heart, Song Shu glared at Qin Mian without saying a word. He then transformed into a little squirrel and ran out of the cave angrily.

Bad Qin Mian!

Who wants to be with you!

Looking at the little squirrel's back, Qin Mian opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but in the end he didn't let him come back. Touching his nose, Qin Mian sighed softly:

"Just get used to it first."

Qin Mian shook his head when he thought of Song Shu's words yesterday about wanting to be his Taoist partner. The little squirrel was simple-minded and didn't know what being a Taoist partner meant, but he understood it.

After Song Shu ran out, he pulled Ah Huang out of the quilt.

Now the two rats were enjoying the cool breeze at the "rat gate". The fluttering bamboo leaves fell on the weasel's head, and then were pulled down by Ah Huang and thrown to the ground. He yawned and looked at Song Shu in confusion.

Last night he took Baiquan's little white dog out to catch a big yellow chicken, and then he was busy roasting the chicken all night. He had just fallen asleep and was very sleepy.

He waited for a while, and saw that Song Shu still had a stern face, his beard twitching, and he looked very angry. Ah Huang asked curiously: "Boss, why did you call me out so early?"

Song Shu paused and said hesitantly: "Ah Huang, how many beds are there in your cave?"

Ah Huang said nonchalantly, "One."

Xuanxu's cave was full of the weasel's things. If he added another bed, the weasel would have less place to put his things. Ah Huang would not allow this to happen.

Frowning, Song Shu asked again, "Will you and Xuanxu meditate together?"

Practice...

Ah Huang looked away guiltily. He didn't practice much. When Xuanxu was meditating, he was playing outside.

"Ahem...of course."

However, during the few times they practiced together, Ah Huang was always with Xuan Xu. He said calmly, "It's just meditation. Do we really have to separate?"

Song Shu also felt that it was unnecessary.

"But Qin Mian brought a new bed back to his cave this morning," Song Shu complained, "He said he won't allow me to practice with him anymore."

Ever since Qin Mian scared Ah Huang last time, Ah Huang has not liked Qin Mian. After hearing what Song Shu said, his eyes turned and he whispered to provoke:

"I've already told you that Qin Mian is very bad. He must be annoyed that you're disturbing his practice, but he can't send you away, so he moved a new bed to hint at you."

Qin Mian wants to drive the rat away?

Song Shu's eyes widened, and he said in disbelief: "Are you telling the truth?"

"Why would I lie to you?" Ah Huang said confidently, "Why else would he need a new bed? How much space would you all take up if you were all meditating?"

Song Shu gritted his teeth, still unable to believe that Qin Mian's expression had changed so quickly. He held the ring around his neck and muttered, "But he just gave me the storage ring yesterday."

Could it be that he was annoyed with Rat because Rat and he wanted the storage ring?

The more Song Shu thought about it, the more possible it seemed. Qin Mian hadn't intended to give Shu the storage ring at first, but later relented. As a result, he wanted to draw a clear line between himself and Shu this morning.

"I have a storage ring too!"

Ah Huang showed Song Shu the storage ring hanging on his wrist and said provocatively, "Xiaoyao Sect has many storage rings. If you had told me you wanted one earlier, I would have asked Xuanxu to give it to you."

Seeing that Ah Huang also had a storage ring, Song Shu was stunned for a moment, and suddenly asked: "Ah Huang, can you see what's in Xuanxu's ring?"

"sure!"

Ah Huang lied and said, "I can see everything about Xuanxu."

Actually, Xuanxu was afraid that Ah Huang would take the treasures in the ring and cause trouble, so he put a ban on the ring so that Ah Huang could not see it at all. But for fear of being embarrassed, Ah Huang lied.

"I can also play with the treasures in his ring."

Song Shu tilted his head: "So, are you a Taoist couple?"

"A Taoist partner? No." Ah Huang scratched his face with his claws and said shyly, "I'm not ready to find a Taoist partner yet."

There is only one weasel, Ah Huang, in Xiaoyao Sect. Even though he has been to many places with Xuanxu, he has rarely encountered a weasel spirit. Ah Huang feels that his future Taoist partner must be a weasel spirit with fluffy, thick fur and beautiful facial features.

It turns out that even without being a Taoist partner, Ah Huang could still see Xuan Xu's ring.

Qin Mian was really on guard against rats.

Song Shu thought a little sadly, it's a pity that Shu was thinking that Qin Mian would become the master uncle of Shu Sect in the future, but Qin Mian turned out to be so mean to Shu.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became. Song Shu slapped his claws on the stone table and decided that Qin Mian would become a cleaning disciple of the Rat Sect, the lowest level one!

Ah Huang was startled by Song Shu's actions and woke up a little from his sleepiness.

Blinking, Ah Huang figured out something. It looked like Song Shu and Qin Mian were having a fight. If I were to take this opportunity to completely break up the two of them...

Ah Huang didn't know what benefit he could get from the breakup between Song Shu and Qin Mian. Anyway, he disliked Qin Mian, and it would be best if Song Shu stayed away from Qin Mian.

"Why don't you just not go back tonight?" Ah Huang suggested, "He's clearly trying to draw a line between us anyway."

Song Shu hesitated: "But if I don't go back, where should I go?"

Ah Huang waved his claws and said coolly, "You've never been out playing at night, right? Let me tell you, there are a lot of animals out at Xiaoyaomen at night. I'll take you to catch a big yellow chicken tonight."

Song Shu doesn't eat big yellow chicken, but he doesn't want to see Qin Mian either. After some hesitation, he nodded and agreed. Just then, Shu took this opportunity to recruit some disciples.

After the two rats finished their discussion, Ah Huang returned to his cave to catch up on some sleep, while Song Shu wandered around the Xiaoyao Gate for a few rounds and recruited a fancy parrot into the Rat Gate.

When Song Shu first asked the parrot if it was willing to join the Rat Sect, it looked at him with disdain. But after Song Shu gave it a beating, leaving its colorful feathers flying in the air, the parrot calmed down and never dared to look up at the sky again.

Now, when he saw Song Shu, he spread his colorful wings in a very flattering manner and shouted: "Long live the master, long live the master!"

Song Shu felt that this parrot was very evil. Not only did it look weird, but it also sang some strange tunes. While singing, it stood on its wings and spun in circles with its two thin legs, which looked very funny.

But the parrot said that this was a play performed by humans, and every time the troupe started performing, many people would gather around to listen. He used to be in charge of attracting customers in the troupe, and even princes and nobles would go to their troupe, and occasionally they would reward him with some fine rice when they were happy.

Song Shu didn't understand the song, but thinking that all the princes and nobles in the world would love to listen to it, he nodded pretentiously. After the parrot agreed to enter the Rat Gate, he turned around and ran away without stopping.

The parrot sang such an awful song that the mouse was almost deafened.

Song Shu wandered around Xiaoyao Gate until night, until the moon was high in the sky and stars were twinkling in the sky, and the entire Xiaoyao Gate became quiet.

Song Shu and Ah Huang climbed to the top of a wall. Ah Huang knocked on the wall a few times with his claws. Then a puppy with white fur, no taller than a stool, ran to the bottom of the wall with its tail wagging.

Seeing the little white dog standing still at the foot of the wall, Ah Huang said dissatisfiedly, "Come out."

The little white dog banged its head against the wall, then looked at Ah Huang with grievance. Song Shu didn't understand what was going on, but Ah Huang beside him said angrily: "Damn it, Bai Quan actually sealed the dog hole!"

"Humph, does he think I can do nothing about it?"

Ah Huang jumped off the wall, then grabbed the little white dog by the scruff of the neck with one paw and climbed up the wall a few times, saying to Song Shu, "Boss, let's go."

Baiquan has been on high alert against weasels lately, so Ah Huang knows why he has sealed the dog hole.

Putting the little white dog on the ground, Ah Huang lay on its back and waved his paw towards Song Shu, saying, "Little White runs very fast. Boss, come sit with us."

"Woof!"

The little white dog barked, turned around and wagged its tail at Song Shu, enthusiastically inviting Song Shu to get on its back.

Song Shu climbed up politely. After he landed on top of the little white dog, he raised his arm and shouted, "Charge!"

The little white dog rushed out like an arrow, and the cool breeze blew on his face. Song Shu half-closed his eyes, looking like he was looking down on the world.

The rat is going to catch the biggest yellow chicken tonight!

Song Shu was full of confidence, but Qin Mian was staring at the empty cave with a dazed look in his eyes.

He was very busy with work today. The disciples of Xiaoyao Sect had a conflict with disciples of other sects outside. The disciples of that sect attacked him for no reason. After the two fought, the disciples of Xiaoyao Sect were defeated.

As the eldest brother, Qin Mian naturally had to comfort his junior brother first, and then went to teach the disciples of that sect a lesson, which ended up attracting the elders of the other sect.

After a lot of trouble, it was late at night before Qin Mian finally returned to Xiaoyao Gate.

However, as soon as he entered the cave, he found that the spiritual fruits and honey water he had left for Song Shu were still on the table. There was also a note he wrote on the table, and the cup on the note had not been moved and remained in its original state.

It looked like Song Shu had never come back.

"You're really getting bolder."

Qin Mian frowned, his lips tightly closed, feeling rather helpless. He had only wanted a separate bed to practice in, and yet the little squirrel had dared to run away from home. His temper was simply out of control.

But he knew that the little squirrel had a bad temper as early as the first time they met, didn't he?

Rubbing his forehead, he murmured, "I was too hasty."

The little squirrel has always been free in Lingshan, so how could he know these principles? Moreover, he has a simple mind, and it is because his thoughts are too dirty.

Walking up to the carved wooden bed that had just been moved in that morning, Qin Mian put the bed into the storage ring without hesitation, then turned around and left the cave again.

I went looking for rats in the middle of the night.

Not knowing where Song Shu would go, Qin Mian was wondering whether to go to Xuanxu's cave to look for Ah Huang, when he suddenly ran into Bai Quan who was hurrying out.

Seeing Qin Mian, Bai Quan stopped and saluted respectfully: "Senior Brother Qin Mian."

Seeing Bai Quan's face full of panic, Qin Mian asked curiously: "What are you doing in the middle of the night?"

Youyou sighed, and Baiquan gritted his teeth and said, "What else can I do? Ah Huang tricked my new pet, Xiaobai, away. I even sealed the dog hole, but he couldn't stop him!"

Speaking of this, if it weren't for the fact that Xuanxu was his own master and he had to respect his teacher, Bai Quan really wanted to catch Ah Huang and give him a good spanking.

"He comes every few days. Yesterday, Xiaobai went out with him all night. When he came back, he was covered in dust. I had a lot of trouble to clean him up, but Ah Huang took him away again tonight."

Qin Mian was not surprised to know Ah Huang's ability to get into trouble.

Thinking that Song Shu might be with Ah Huang, Qin Mian asked, "Do you know where Ah Huang often goes at night, or do you plan to just look for him aimlessly?"

Baiquan: "I sprinkled tracking powder on Xiaobai, and the black bees can smell Xiaobai's traces."

Qin Mian then noticed that there was a black bee flying towards the north. Without hesitation, Qin Mian said, "I'll go with you."

Baiquan: "Ah?"

Why did Senior Brother Qin Mian go with us?

It can't be his squirrel...

Thinking that Ah Huang might have fooled Song Shu as well, Bai Quan paused for a moment, then smiled at Qin Mian and said, "That's perfect, Senior Brother Qin Mian, let's go together!"

Senior Brother Qin Mian is different from him. Just because he doesn’t dare to hit Ah Huang, it doesn’t mean Qin Mian doesn’t dare!

The two followed the black bee and walked for about an incense stick of time before finally finding Song Shu, Ah Huang and Xiao Bai in a forest.

A squirrel, a weasel and a little white dog were sitting around a campfire. The little squirrel was holding roasted walnuts, Little White got a leg and neck from the big yellow chicken, and Ah Huang was chewing the rest until his mouth was full of oil.

Under the moonlight, the scene is very strange.

Qin Mian and Bai Quan were silent for a moment. After a while, Bai Quan let out a sharp cry: "Xiao Bai! Didn't I give you any meat?"

I have to come out and cook in the middle of the night.

The little white dog shuddered, turned his head to look at the angry Bai Quan, quickly swallowed the meat in his mouth, then shrank his neck and made a "meow" sound to act coquettishly towards Bai Quan.

This sound naturally attracted the attention of Song Shu and Ah Huang.

Seeing Qin Mian next to Bai Quan, Song Shu curled his lips and turned his head back.

Bastard Qin Mian!

I don't want to see him!
