I slept well all night.
When Di Junlan opened his eyes, the sun was already out, and some sunlight even peeked in through the curtains.
I didn't dream last night, and I didn't feel unwell.
I got up, opened the door, and saw people walking around in the kitchen.
Ah Jin can't cook, so what is she doing so early in the morning?
Murong Jin simply put the breakfast she had just bought into a plate, and when she heard footsteps, she looked over and said, "Awake? Go wash up and have breakfast."
"good."
The bear toothbrushes are all new.
When Di Junlan came out, he had changed his clothes: a white shirt and loose gray casual pants.
Sitting at the dining table, looking at the person across from me, wearing a white T-shirt and with slightly wavy black hair... giving off a mysterious and sexy vibe.
The breakfast on the table was very home-style, and it tasted quite good.
"I bought it downstairs, I hope you like it."
Di Junlan hummed in agreement, "It tastes very good."
"That's fine then."
After breakfast, Murong Jin asked him if there was anything he wanted to do, for example, since he was still a freshman in college.
"No, but I need a computer."
Murong Jin: "Is it alright if I use mine in the study?"
"It's fine."
So, Di Junlan went into Murong Jin's study, which was mostly filled with books and a computer on the table.
Just as she said, there was also a bed placed next to it, in a clean and simple style.
There was a faint, pleasant fragrance as soon as I entered, similar to the one in the bedroom.
The computer held no secrets. Di Junlan opened some items and began to look at them seriously.
Seeing his appearance, Murong Jin didn't disturb him. She then went to the kitchen and started brewing medicine for him.
The medicine was all prepared at the hospital and brought back.
She forgot to bring some things, so she asked Fu Er to send them to her via express delivery.
It must be said that modern transportation is much more convenient than that of ancient times. Given the technology available, it would have taken a very long time for it to develop to the same level as it did in ancient times.
For example, modern development took hundreds of years to become what it is today.
Moreover, the history of this era does not include the existence of the Dacheng dynasty.
Perhaps, it's a parallel universe.
Murong Jin didn't care about these things. Her life in Da Cheng was over, and she had nothing to do with Da Cheng anymore.
After the medicine was brewed, I poured a cup out and then went to the study.
Di Junlan put down his pen. "Sister?"
"Take your medicine."
Di Junlan took the cup and said, "Okay."
Looking at the person who drank it in one gulp, the medicine was very bitter and had a pungent smell.
Murong Jin thought for a moment, "After I finish this half-month supply of medicine, I will go back and work on it to try to turn it into a semi-finished traditional Chinese medicine."
The boy's eyes lit up; they were beautiful. "Okay."
"Eat candy."
A piece of candy appeared in Murong Jin's palm, and Di Junlan's lips curled up slightly. "Thank you, sister."
At noon, Murong Jin looked at the people outside the door, or more accurately, several bodyguards.
"please."
Di Junlan's family came looking for him.
The bodyguards thought they were about to make a move, but when they went in, they saw their young master wearing a bear-patterned pajama, his hair slightly messy, looking at them with a bewildered expression.
He looks to be in very good condition.
What are you doing here?
"Young Master, Madam sent us over after she found out you had been taken away..."
"Oh? Are you afraid that Doctor Murong will harm me?"
Di Junlan glanced at the closed study before daring to speak to them with a cold face, "I said I don't need anyone's interference in what I do, right?"
"Yes."
Emperor Junlan: "Get lost."
"But Madam, she..."
"I'll contact my mother. Please don't frighten my attending physician, understand?"
The bodyguards bowed respectfully, said, "Understood," and then left.
Di Junlan had just taken a nap and was feeling sleepy shortly after taking his medicine.
His sister told him that this was a normal phenomenon and that what he needed now was sleep.
"elder sister."
"They left?"
"Yes, don't worry, they're not bad people."
Murong Jin smiled and said, "I know, it's normal for me to worry about you."
Di Junlan said cautiously, "I have already spoken to my family, and they will not bother us anymore."
Murong Jin: "Okay."
Lunch was very lavish, and Di Junlan knew that his sister had personally selected all of it. "Sister, I'll help with the cooking from now on. I can cook, and besides, I want to find something to do, otherwise it'll be too boring."
Murong Jin: "Okay, then I'll have to trouble you with dinner from now on."
"Hey, what about lunch?"
Murong Jin: "These are all medicinal meals I bought from Wanshantang, which is not far away. You can't refuse these; they're good for your health. Also, there might be some foods you don't like, but you still have to eat them."
Di Junlan: "Okay."
So that's how it is, medicinal cuisine.
What Murong Jin didn't say was that she would have people prepare these lunches in advance every day, especially the food made with the medicinal herbs she mentioned.
A weak body cannot tolerate strong tonics; some things need to be improved gradually, and one cannot rush it.
After eating his fill of soup and rice, Di Junlan yawned.
I'm starting to feel sleepy again.
"Take your medicine before you sleep."
Di Junlan looked at the person standing in front of him and said, "Sister, I'm sorry."
"Most medications have a sleep-inducing effect, which is quite normal."
Emperor Junlan: "Hmm."
