Extra Chapter - Qixi Festival Special
The camera focuses on a sofa covered with plush toys.
The man's black hair was neatly styled, with a few stray strands falling across his forehead, not obscuring his icy blue eyes, the corners of which were slightly upturned, his pupils like the surface of a frozen sea.
His cold and distant expression softened considerably with the presence of the young man beside him, and he sat down in the pile of fur with him, creating an eerie harmony.
The young man sitting close to the man had long, gray-white hair, half-tied into a low ponytail, and a beautiful appearance. He was holding a small white lop-eared rabbit doll in his hands.
On the single chair opposite, a girl in a sky-blue dress held an oversized notebook open in her hand, her right hand resting on her knee, and a large red birthmark on her left arm.
"Shall we start with the first question?" the girl's voice rang out, and the notebook was lightly tapped by a fingertip.
"What are your names?"
As soon as the words left his mouth, the two people who were preparing to reply immediately sent him emojis of an air conditioner technician.
The girl cleared her throat. "This is the procedure."
"Fu Hanchuan".
"Wen Yanyu."
The two answered.
"What was the last thing that upset the other person?" the girl asked.
Upon hearing the question, Wen Yanyu paused, her hand stroking the lop-eared rabbit doll. She then said somewhat guiltily, "I stayed up all night playing games last week and didn't realize I had a fever. He came to ask me to go to sleep, and I thought I'd finish this game, but I collapsed after finishing it."
"It took me a long time to coax him and calm him down."
At this point, he secretly glanced at Fu Hanchuan, but seeing that the other was staring at him, he quickly looked away.
Fu Hanchuan snorted and casually replied, "In bed after I recovered from that illness."
Wen Yanyu's ears turned bright red, and she buried her face in the lop-eared rabbit doll, only revealing half of her reddened neck.
The girl suppressed a laugh, pretending to be busy scribbling in her notebook, then flipped through a few pages, pretending to look at the questions.
After the atmosphere returned to normal somewhat.
The girl spoke again: "What are your views on the Cold War?"
Wen Yanyu first looked up from the doll, the redness on the tips of her ears had not completely faded, but her voice became calm, "I think the cold war is a very hurtful thing to do. If there is a conflict, it is better to just talk it out after a few words."
"It's very uncomfortable to keep guessing from each other, and I don't like it."
The girl nodded.
"I won't give him the silent treatment." Fu Hanchuan glanced at Wen Yanyu and smiled helplessly: "Yanyan tends to bottle up his grievances. If I really gave him the silent treatment, he would hide away and cry himself to death."
Wen Yanyu glanced at him and then looked away.
"I won't."
Fu Hanchuan laughed: "Yes, yes, you wouldn't."
Would you have children if technology allowed?
"Won't."
They both answered at the same time.
Wen Yanyu gave an example: "Having our child conceived through someone else's body is a form of oppression for that person, and it violates human ethics and human rights."
"Life should never be traded."
Wen Yanyu shook her head, her eyes clearly showing resistance: "I won't let this kind of thing happen around me."
Fu Hanchuan continued, "Even if it were me or Yan Yan who were to carry this child, raising a child would require a lot of money and love."
Fu Hanchuan's expression was calm. "I don't have a healthy view of relationships, and I don't have enough energy to help a life grow up healthily. My love is only enough for my lover. I don't have any left over for another life. It would be irresponsible to that child. I will not let that child grow up in such an environment."
The girl nodded, smiled, turned to the next page of her notebook, and raised her voice slightly: "What did he do that made you feel that he really loved you?"
As soon as she finished speaking, Wen Yanyu's eyes flickered, and she turned to look at Fu Hanchuan. Seeing that the man didn't speak, it seemed that he was waiting for her to speak first.
Wen Yanyu hesitated for a long time before speaking: "He has forgotten everything, but he still remembers me."
She came back from the brink of death because of her love for him.
Fu Hanchuan turned his head, glanced at Wen Yanyu first, and then said, "Stay by my side."
Wen Yanyu's eyes showed a hint of surprise.
I don't understand.
Fu Hanchuan slowly explained: "I am an incurable madman, a stubborn maniac, a hypocrite, someone who hurts people with his words, a coward, a coward, selfish, and paranoid. I often hurt the people around me."
"But he still chose to fall in love with me as I am."
"You chose to stay by my side."
Wen Yanyu looked at him and unconsciously hugged the doll in her hands tighter.
The girl coughed twice and continued the interview: "What would the other person do to make me unhappy?"
This time, Fu Hanchuan spoke first: "You don't take care of your health and stay up all night playing games."
"And another thing," Fu Hanchuan narrowed his eyes and complained in a low voice, "They won't let me go back to my room to sleep."
Wen Yanyu gently kicked him.
The girl asked again, "Where's our rabbit... Yan Yan?"
Wen Yanyu thought for a few seconds and replied seriously, "When he came to save me while playing the game, he was shocked by the fear of being controlled three times in 5 seconds."
The girl burst out laughing.
Fu Hanchuan squeezed Wen Yanyu's hand and complained, "I still have to stay with you."
Her eyes crinkled into a gentle smile.
What do you like most about the other person's personality, and what part of their body do you like most?
Wen Yanyu: "He is very tolerant. Whenever a conflict arises, as long as I communicate with him, he will usually change it quickly."
"Body parts." Wen Yanyu thought for a moment, looked the man beside her up and down, and finally settled on his eyes, which were filled with an almost unconcealable love. "Eyes."
Fu Hanchuan looked down at their touching hands and gently squeezed them back. "Be strong, everything."
I turned the pages of my notes one by one.
What do you think is the most important thing in a relationship?
The two of them didn't think much about the question and gave the same answer.
"The moment we're together."
The girl continued, glanced at the notebook, hesitated for a while, and then said, "In the process of dating, if the rabbit makes the dog angry, should the dog apologize, or should the rabbit come to coax him and then give him a big 'special'?"
Wen Yanyu was shocked.
Fu Hanchuan was also taken aback.
The girl covered her face with her notebook. "Don't look at me. This isn't a question I wrote. I'm just a junior reporter."
Fu Hanchuan chuckled softly, "The latter."
Wen Yanyu: _Anger
What was the last thing that struck you as outrageous and novel?
Fu Hanchuan didn't speak, but Wen Yanyu's gaze suddenly became a little strange. He stared at the girl for a couple of seconds, and then slowly spoke while she looked bewildered.
"It's probably about waking up to find yourself inside a rabbit doll, almost getting your butt kissed by a strange person, being discovered to be alive, and then being asked to cook three dishes and a soup, pick up packages at the courier station, buy groceries at the supermarket, work outside to support your family, and even sleep with someone and act cute."
Fu Hanchuan didn't let her off the hook either, "It's probably because she woke up to find herself inside a puppy doll, and was almost knocked off the bed by the room's owner who was playing house, using another teddy bear in the house."
The two of them talked back and forth.
Wen Yanyu even held up the rabbit doll in her hand and said in a childish voice, "Baby, Mommy wants to kiss your little bottom. Your little bottom was born to be kissed by Mommy, okay? Remember that, little bunny."
"Rabbit, go cook three dishes and a soup for Mom." Wen Yanyu's tone was calm, and even his face was expressionless and indifferent.
The girl's expression changed repeatedly.
Red, orange, yellow, cyan, blue, and purple.
The conversation finally got back on track.
The two continued answering questions.
Nearly two hours later, the notebook reached its last page.
The girl looked at the two of them and asked, "What made you fall for him?"
Fu Hanchuan spoke first, his icy blue eyes glancing at Wen Yanyu, his tone flat and seemingly casual: "All of them."
As he finished speaking, Fu Hanchuan brushed against the end of Wen Yanyu's hair that was hanging on the sofa. The soft, grayish-white hair wrapped around his knuckles.
Wen Yanyu replied, "The soul."
The girl silently covered her face.
A wicked young couple.
"So, one last question: what kind of future do you envision?"
The two of them laughed at the same time.
"Now."
