"Yunhe, Yunhe, are you alright?" Qian Youxue saw that Yunhe could still stand up and thought that she was not seriously injured, but little did she know that Yunhe was just pretending.
Yunhe breathed heavily, trying not to let her master see the problem, and stepped forward to hold the sword in front of her master.
"What a loyal girl. If she weren't an enemy, I would have liked to take her in." Sai Miao wiped the blood from the corner of her mouth, took a breath, and sneered, "Qian Youxue, where did you get such a capable girl? I'm truly impressed."
"You old hag, is it any of your business?" Qian Youxue said unhappily.
The title "old hag" infuriated Sai Miaoshou. Originally, she only wanted to take what she wanted and spare Qian Youxue's life, but now it seemed unnecessary.
She made a complex gesture with her orchid-like fingers in mid-air, and the smile on her face turned cold and terrifying.
"Be careful, she's about to use a Yin formation!" Qian Youxue saw through Sai Miaoshou's intentions at a glance, pulled Yunhe behind her, and disregarded how much she would expose herself, intending to silently recite the old Taoist's skills.
Sai Miaoshou was startled again. Who exactly had appeared around Qian Youxue in the past few years? Even the Yin Zhen, who was little known, could see it at a glance.
While surprised, her gaze slowly shifted to Yunhe. Presumably, this girl should know who taught Qian Youxue the martial arts.
She suddenly changed her mind, her gesture shifted in mid-air, her long fingernails grew wildly, and she reached out to grab Yunhe.
The sudden change of target caught Qian Youxue and Yunhe off guard. By the time they reacted, Yunhe was already in Sai Miaoshou's hands.
It was a complete rout. Qian Youxue realized that when she sparred with such a master, she had no real ability to turn the tide.
Let's give it our all!
With that thought in mind, she relentlessly pursued Sai Miaoshou until she was right in front of him.
Sai Miaoshou sensed Qian Youxue's approach and, catching her off guard, delivered a backhand palm strike that sent her flying.
“Miss…” Yunhe’s heart nearly jumped out of her chest when she saw her master’s body fly out. She opened her mouth and bit Sai Miaoshou’s hand.
ah……
Sai Miaoshou cried out in pain and angrily slapped Yun He. Looking down at the row of teeth marks on her snow-white hand, she cried out with heartache, "You look awful! You look awful! I'll pull out your teeth!"
After saying that, she began to attack Chaoyun repeatedly.
After a period of respite, Leng Qing and Leng Mo launched an attack on Sai Miaoshou. Unfortunately, even with the three of them working together, they were no match for Sai Miaoshou. After a few moves, all three of them lay on the ground covered in blood.
Qian Youxue suppressed her fierce aura, calmed herself down, and silently recited an incantation, hoping to see a miracle happen.
Unexpectedly, a miracle truly occurred. In an instant, she held a sword in her hand—a sword that looked like scrap metal. Yet, upon seeing this sword, she was overjoyed.
Sai Miaoshou stared intently at the broken copper and scrap iron in Qian Youxue's hand, a greedy look instantly appearing in his eyes. He hadn't expected to see this treasure so quickly, and he raised his hand, intending to snatch it away.
Meeting that greedy gaze, Qian Youxue looked again at the sword in her hand. When the old Taoist gave it to her, she thought it was so old and worn that she didn't even care about it. Later, when she took it on missions and it helped her evade several assassination attempts, she realized it was a treasure. Afterwards, she asked the old Taoist about the sword's origin, but he said it wasn't the right time yet and didn't tell her.
With such a sharp eye, could it be that Sai Miaoshou has figured out the origin of this treasure?
