Chapter 257 The Prince's Romantic Debts

Before Qian Youxue could even leave the corridor, she saw Leng Xue and the others being summoned back, and she sneakily led Yun He back to the door of the house.

Hearing the cursing inside, the two covered their mouths and ran away to avoid embarrassing Leng Xue and the others.

As they walked toward the other courtyard, Yunhe asked his master in a low voice, "Master, what did you say to the Prince? Why was he so angry?"

"They said they would send someone to protect me, and I told them the truth: apart from Leng Xue, no one can match Yun He. Who knew he would react so strongly?" Qian Youxue answered Yun He's question in a very good mood.

hehe……

After hearing this, Yunhe understood why Lengxue and the others were going to be in trouble. Seeing his mischievous master's happy expression, he also laughed.

As they walked out of the courtyard and onto a long corridor, they sensed someone watching them. They continued walking without making a sound, but both of them consciously kept their mouths shut.

In the shadows, Song Tian'er watched Qian Youxue and her servant leave with hatred in her eyes. Thinking about the man she had protected for so many years embracing someone else, she felt a surge of anger.

Qian Youxue, I'd like to see just how much you're capable of.

The words of the waterweed and Granny Zhou flashed through her mind, and a bold idea quickly formed in her head. With a wave of her hand, she took out a rare medicinal herb from her spatial ring and strode after them.

Qian Youxue had just entered the room when she heard Song Tian'er's gentle voice from outside: "Your Highness, Tian'er has come to pay her respects!"

That green tea bitch is quick on her feet; she's probably the one watching them from the shadows in that corridor. The mistress and servant exchanged knowing smiles. Qian Youxue sat down, while Yunhe went out to invite the others in.

"So it's Miss Tian'er, please come in!" Yunhe's tone was still relatively kind, considering that he had refused to give in.

"Thank you, Miss Yunhe!" Song Tian'er smiled politely and gracefully stepped into the house.

Yunhe observed Song Tian'er's words and actions; her elegant movements made her seem less like a maid and more like a young lady from a prominent family.

Qian Youxue sipped her tea and ate her snacks in large bites, displaying her uncouth lifestyle without reservation, even in front of outsiders.

When Song Tian'er entered and saw this scene, she frowned slightly, but quickly regained her smile and bowed slightly to Qian Youxue: "Tian'er greets Your Highness, the Princess!"

"Get up, what is it?" Qian Youxue said without even glancing at the other person, continuing to eat and drink her tea.

She, Song Tian'er, was, after all, Mr. Bu Yu's prized student, yet this good-for-nothing didn't even glance at her. She was angry but held back, taking out the special medicinal herb from her bosom and offering it with both hands: "Tian'er heard that the Princess Consort likes to collect all kinds of rare medicinal herbs. Tian'er happened to bring some back from her trip this time. Do you like them?"

Upon hearing the word "medicinal herbs," Qian Youxue immediately looked up and saw that Song Tian'er was holding a rather large piece of He Shou Wu (Polygonum multiflorum). She took it with interest and examined it in her palm.

Seeing that Qian Youxue was smitten, Song Tian'er's lips curled into a sly smile that was hard to detect. She then lowered her head, composed herself, and then raised it again.

Qian Youxue carefully examined the he shou wu in her hand. It was indeed a somewhat aged item, but that wasn't enough to make her particularly interested. There were quite a few he shou wu like this in the spiritual space. However, this little girl knew how to behave, and she couldn't embarrass Bu Yu.

He blinked, looked at Yunhe not far away, and said calmly, "Yunhe, give a reward!"

Yunhe knew her master didn't have much money, and the only reward she could get was pills. These past few days, she and Mei'er had used up their pills quickly trying to bribe the servants. It pained her to give away a single pill for such an insignificant herb like He Shou Wu.

Seeing the reluctance in Yunhe's eyes, Qian Youxue deliberately cleared her throat. Only then did Yunhe reluctantly take out a porcelain bottle from her body, carefully pour out a pill from it and place it in Song Tian'er's hand.

Song Tian'er frowned. This was exactly the beauty regimen that countless women loved. The prince was so generous, giving this good-for-nothing such nice things. This good-for-nothing didn't appreciate it and even used it as a reward. It was simply outrageous.

"Since Miss Tian'er is Mr. Bu Yu's prized student, she should know the uses of this elixir, so I won't say more. If there's nothing else, I'm going to rest now, you may leave!" Qian Youxue yawned, finished the last bite of dessert, patted the crumbs off her hands, walked to the bedside and lay down sprawled out.

This is the kind of young lady raised in the Prime Minister's mansion. She has no manners whatsoever. How can she be the War King's woman? Does the War King have some other purpose in keeping this good-for-nothing by his side?

"Please, Miss Tian'er!" Yunhe could see the hostility hidden in Song Tian'er's eyes, so his tone was not as friendly as before.

Song Tian'er bowed slightly and followed Yun He out of the house. She walked gracefully along the corridor out of the courtyard and went to the guest room of the Prince's Mansion.

"You're not that old, but you're quite impatient. You're still too green to try and scheme against our young lady!" Yunhe said, putting her hands on her hips and glaring fiercely at Song Tian'er's departing figure.

On the other side of the corridor, Mei'er returned from going out to buy things for her mistress. Originally, this task was to be handled by Yunhe, but Yunhe said that Mei'er needed some training, so Qian Youxue instructed Mei'er to go out.

Mei'er, carrying her mistress's favorite snacks and a small bundle, hummed a little tune as she approached the house. Seeing Yunhe standing at the door with his hands on his hips, Mei'er followed Yunhe's gaze and saw Tian'er's back. Curious, she asked, "Who is this girl?"

"The prince's romantic entanglements!" Yunhe said unhappily, then turned and went into the house.

The Prince's Romantic Entanglement?

I heard that the War King is not interested in women, so how come he has so many romantic entanglements?

Mei scratched her head in confusion, then followed them into the room. She put the pastries she had bought on the table, picked up the bundle with both hands, and presented it to her mistress: "My lady, this is something Miss Hua asked me to give you."

Hua Yujie!

Qian Youxue almost forgot about her good younger sister. She picked up the bundle and opened it. Inside was a beautiful brocade box with a letter on it.

Upon opening the letter, it read: "Sister Youxue, I am deeply sorry that I could not attend your wedding. This is a gift I prepared for you, and I hope you will like it."

After reading the letter, she felt a warm glow in her heart. She put the letter down, opened the brocade box, and glanced inside. Inside was a set of exquisitely crafted, elegantly designed jewelry: a pair of jade earrings and a jade bracelet, the jade pieces clearly of top quality.

Although the Hua family is wealthy, this set of jewelry is definitely not cheap. Could that girl have spent all her money on it?

What a precious gift! It warmed her heart.
